Brodi couldn't believe it. He was actually getting somewhere in the agency. He was so excited; it almost felt like a dream. He ever thought he'd make it this far. Sure he had some musical talent, but all he could do was hit a stick over a piece of cowhide or plastic stretched over a hollow barrel. He never thought he’d get anywhere with it. Boy was he wrong.

"Hey mom it’s me" he said as he held his cell up to his ear, "yeah its tonight…. Hehe yeah I know… yeah mom I'll tell you all about it…yeah I will, tell everyone hey, and I love them… thanks mom, bye"

/she coming?/ his agent asked as he typed away on his blackberry.

"Nah, she’s going to sit this one out" he said as he put away his cell and picked up his drum pad and sticks and started to beat a fast paced rhythm.

His agent looked down to the drum pad and smirked. "Nervous?" he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose

"Is it that obvious?." He laughed lightly as he stopped drumming and ran a hand through his hair.

"I'm sure you'll do fine." The car pulled up to the entrance of the café, and Rodger stepped out followed by Brodi. His agent, Rodger ushered him inside.

Brodis attire was semi formal; a simple black button down shirt and a pair of worn jeans. Sure the jeans weren’t what someone would call formal in any situation, but they were his lucky jeans. The same pair he wore when he got into the Walk of Fame agency, and the jeans he wore when he met Riley.

"Ah Brodi! Man of the night." the store owner walked up to greet him with open arms.

"Mr. Gasapalos, thank you so much for booking me." he smiled as he shook the mans hand and embraced him in a friendly hug.

"Not a problem Brodi, it is my pleasure." he said as some associates put some decorative signs up at the café door with his name on it. "Why don't you come inside, we'll finish getting you ready?" the owner said as he ushered him into the shop.

Brodi finished getting ready and walked to the small stage with the café's regulars, two acoustics and local singer. He nodded to them, giving them a light smile. He met them before when the owner brought him in for the specifics. It was a charity night, all proceeds going to the local hospice for vaccines and bedding. Brodi sat down at the set as the small band started to play smooth mellow songs.

He couldn't help but smile when he saw the customers smile and talk with one another, bringing up a five dollar bill and putting it into the guitar case laying in front of the band. The rest of the night was filled with soft chatter and tunes as they continued to raise money for the hospice. Brodi was finally glad that he had been able to help people with his talent.
