My Korean name was given to me by a social worker, and not my biological parents. It's Park Jaesung. Evidently the Hanja for it means 'be an achiever,' or something like that.
The name my adoptive parents have given me is Kyle. They thought it was a pretty uncommon name around where we live, but three of my friends are named Kyle too.
I don't hate either name, and I don't really care if my biological parents weren't the ones to name me. If I ever meet them (don't really plan to) I'll probably just go by Jaesung unless they'd like to actually name me. Otherwise I'd probably just change the last name to theirs.

mines ALYSSA. My mom got it from a perfume she saw while shopping baby clothes for me. If I remember it right it's "alyssa & ashley?" I'm not sure... My secong name (MARIE) is derived from my grandmothers name which is maria.
I also hate it when people pronouce my name in a wrong way. I always tel them to pronounce it as A-LI-SA but they always forgot! specially my teachers! they always say A-LAY-SA. sigh...

Umm mine's Nu Ri and since I dont have an english name I have people say it like you'd say "nurry" like curry :]
Its 온누리 in Korean.

my name is Kathy but i think itz too old fashioned so i want it to be trendy like Chloe~ hahaha i made up my own korean name out of famous k-pop stars and i even made names for my future daughter after jaejoong and changmin's names hahaha. my korean name iz Chae Lee and my daughter's name (in about 10 years lol) will be Jae Min or Min Joong ^^
