"Only one or two," Adele said, shaking her head. There were twenty or so monster corpses there. She was really confused now. "I got hurt early on, and the dragon killed the rest." He wasn't really wrong to label her as violent. In most cases she would have killed all of them herself.

"I'll take down the monsters, if you want," Adele offered quietly. She actually was starting to seem a little unsteady, probably from blood loss and a mild toxin from the monster's claw.

Adele shook her head, but she knew he was right. She leaned against the wall for support. "It's fine..." she protested.
