Okay, here is what I have to offer on Orb Farming. Please keep in mind while reading this post that these are merely tips and suggestions. They're not to be taken as fact, nor am I responsible for low drop rate, sucky crews, battle lag, "kill stealing", crew bullying or ownage by death. heart
Before we get started on locations lets talk a little about Farming How-to and Etiquette.
----------------------------------------
When you've decided you wish to farm an area conn the enemies in the area before hand; conning (pronounced "Cone-ing" I think...) an enemy is paying attention to the colored target markings in the next screen and in the background of a selected enemy's picture. Depending on your own CL the colors will be different, this is the enemy's strength compared to you; Incidentally this is how you conn other players as well. The color list is as follows: Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, weakest to strongest. In order to farm a location properly the enemies should conn in at either Green or Yellow as these are the colors that offer the best drop rate; Blue is so-so, Purple and Red are next to nothing. If your CL is to high to farm in an area you must lower it by taking off rings which is left to your own transgression; I suggest owning and using a low CL Angel Set for better luck increase while farming. Once that's done pick a spot and start killing things; don't be afraid to get dazed a few times testing the waters, and running from mobs is nothing to be ashamed of.
If you've found a spot you like, you're alone with no crew, and another person shows up and starts killing along side you, don't freak out! They are not stealing your kills, likely they're showing you their intent to farm WITH you. Send them a crew invite even before the other person says anything and 7 times out of 10 they'll accept without batting an eye. If they don't accept with or without reason then simply just ignore them and continue to invite or accept any crew invites from any new persons who show up to farm. Farming in crews is better then farming solo, that's just the fact of this game; you get a better drop rate as well as safety in numbers! But what do you do if other players try to farm in the same spot as your crew? Well, I can't tell you what you should do, the debate on "Kill Stealing" is a heavy one and I'm unable to give you a right or wrong answer. All I can do is suggest that you use your best judgment in that situation.

Farming Map Key Red Circle - General Map Square Location Number - Listed Closest to the Null Crystal (Maybe...) Location - Map Name Animated Enemies - Short List of the Animated You'll Encounter in that Spot Spawn Rate - Speed at Which Enemies Respawn Notes - Information on the Farming Spot
Please note that the Shallow Sea map is not listed here and I think that's okay. Chances are, if you're that far along in the game, you'll know how to spot a good farming location when you see one.
----------------------------------------
-Farming Spot One - Location: Village Greens Animated Enemies: Garden Gnome, Garden Gnome Courier, Gnome Patrol Leader Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: This spot usually generates 4 Garden Gnome spawns, however because it's a path many different types of Gnomes pass through this location; some won't attack you unless you aggravate (Standing near/passing them) or attack them first. The Gnome Patrol Leader will attack on sight and has 3 henchmen with him, approach with caution!
- Farming Spot Two - Location: Village Greens Animated Enemies: Garden Gnome, Garden Gnome Courier, Mushroom Cannons, Lawn Flamingos Spawn Rate: High
Notes: This spot has a multitude of different enemies, a good location for farming both orbs and items. Gnomes and Flamingos tend to spawn quickly so you don't get much of a break between Mushroom Cannon spawns, which can pack a mean punch for those with low(ered) CL. Be sure to be in a crew of at least 4 or else you may find yourself running around in circles trying to recharge stamina while avoiding being hit. xd
- Farming Spot Three - Location: Village Greens Animated Enemies: Lawn Flamingos Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: If you're looking to farm just Flamingos this is the spot you want as there is a flock of 7 just waiting for you there, however because it's "behind enemy lines" you may have trouble getting there alone. Flamingos have a kick attack with knock back, so you'll be knocked around a lot if you're not careful. Luckily there is a rest spot far away enough from swarm with in the map square that you can take advantage of.
------------------------------------
- Farming Spot One - Location: Bills Ranch Animated Enemies: Alarmskeeters Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: This spot is a little hard to get to in one piece. If you run from Larry all the way there you'll have at least 7 or 8 Alarmskeeters following you, all of them with a ranged attack! Be in a crew and use Dervish, Fire Rain, Solar Ray, Shark Attack, and any other ranged or AOE rings, which are good to deploy here if you don't mind the lag.
- Farming Spot Two - Location: Bills Ranch Animated Enemies: Garlics Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: It's important to have a crew of 4+ for this spot as you'll have to travel through other spots full of Garlic to get to it; heal often while traveling, Garlics hit hard. Once you get there though you can expect a spawn of 5 Garlics with a nice rest between them. A good spot to farm both orbs and items with your new higher luck such as Garlic Sprouts which are a rare drop.
----------------------------------------
- Farming Spot One - Location: Zen Garden Animated Enemies: Kokeshi Dolls Spawn Rate: High
Notes: This a nice, quiet spot on the Kokeshi Doll marching path that is away from the lag of the Shrine and the dangers of the Cherry Fluffs. Try to stay away from using rings with knock back as the dolls have a stationary ranged attack; being farther away from you just makes killing you easier for them.
- Farming Spot Two - Location: Zen Garden Animated Enemies: Cherry Fluffs (day), Ghost Lanterns (night) Spawn Rate: High
Notes: Because of the Ghost Lanterns that appear only at night this spot is a highly prized farming location from 6 PM to 6 AM GST (night time). Their spawning rate is high within the sand pit so it's important to be in a FULL crew when trying to farm this spot; you'll run out of stamina quickly from all the fighting and you'll need someone to cover you if you need to kneel to rest. Watch out for the occasional wandering Nexus enemy! During the day this spot is full of Cherry Fluffs which run at you and explode if you attack them, but with a little patience they can be farmed successfully.
- Farming Spot Three - Location: Zen Garden Animated Enemies: Taiko Drum Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: Drums! Drums drop a lot of items that are good for many quests in this current zOMG! chapter, from Kin's Quest to Maestro's Quest to Gustav's Quest. They have a knock back attack that's strong so taking them on alone is a bad idea; a crew of 4 should be good enough.

- Farming Spot One - Location: Bass'ken Lake Animated Enemies: Mother Fluff Guards, Outlaw Pups, Mother Fluff (Rare Spawn) Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: Mother Fluff Guards and Mother Fluff, who is a rare spawn, are passive enemies; they won't attack you unless you attack first, which allows you and your crew some time to kneel. However if you attack one the whole group will attack you together. You can find a total of 3 Mother Fluff Guards normally, but you'll get an extra set of 3 when the Mother Fluff is around. 4 Outlaw Pups show up on this spot as well and usually mob around the strongest person, so make sure you have a full crew when farming here.
- Farming Spot Two - Location: Bass'ken Lake Animated Enemies: Buzz Saws Spawn Rate: High
Notes: The Saw Mill is where almost all Buzz Saws spawn, even a few of the ones that hang around adjacent squares. They spawn in high numbers, one right after another, so it's very important to be in a full crew as your stamina and health can run low real quick! There are also very limited spot where you can rest out of the Buzz Saws' wandering range, so keep on your toes.
- Farming Spot Three - Location: Bass'ken Lake Animated Enemies: Buzz Saws Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: I would say that this spot is the second best place to farm Buzz Saws, and the reason for that is because it's off the beaten path and away from the Saw Mill so the spawns are independent. You can find 5 Buzz Saws here that move of a predictable path (up and down between trees), so it becomes easy to rest and anticipate when a new Saw spawn will appear. If you get the timing right, you won't need a full crew to farm here.
----------------------------------------
- Farming Spot One - Location: Old Aqueduct Animated Enemies: Tiny Terrors Spawn Rate: High; WARNING ENDLESS SPAWN!!
Notes: DANGER! This spot is known for it's ENDLESS SPAWN of Tiny Terrors! For every one Tiny Terror you kill there are up to THREE waiting to take it's place in the huge mob. Having a full crew is a MUST to farm this location as you can become easily overwhelmed in minuets! Dervish, Fire Rain, and Hornets Nest become your best friends when trying to farm this spot.
- Farming Spot Two - Location: Old Aqueduct Animated Enemies: Predator Prairie Pups, Predator Squad Leader, Predator Commander Spawn Rate: High; WARNING ENDLESS SPAWN!!
Notes: DANGER! Another ENDLESS SPAWN farming spot! Originally there are a few Predator Prairie Pups stationed here, however they are sentinels! Aggravate them and they somehow alert other Pups as well as local Squad Leaders to come swarm you, not to mention you're right on the patrol path of the Predator Commander. They possess both close combat attacks as well as ranged attacks so staying and attack from one spot is not advised. Get in their faces! scream
- Farming Spot Three - Location: Old Aqueduct Animated Enemies: Predator Prairie Pups, Predator Squad Leader Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: Do not be mislead by the Spawn Rate which is listed for this spot, it is still high risk farming. Prairie Pups hide among the trees with their cloaking so when you think you've killed them all another is waiting in the shadows taking shots at you with their lasers!
----------------------------------------
- Farming Spot One - Location: Gold Beach Animated Enemies: Sand Fluffs, Anchor Bugs Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: This is a good spot to not only farm orbs, but items and general kill count quests (such as Brodie's Quest) as well. Sand Fluffs are passive enemies, so you can rest among them with your crew until they're ready to take on more killin'. Just keep in mind that Sand Fluffs use Quicksand to make you stuck and ranged attacks, which means try not to use any rings that have knock back. You'll be stuck in the sand while they're to far away to beat up on. gonk
- Farming Spot Two - Location: Gold Beach Animated Enemies: Sand Castles, Anchor Bugs Spawn Rate: Low
Notes: This spot get a low Spawn Rating due to the fact that Sand Castles seem to take awhile to spawn compared to their buddies the Anchor Bugs. Another location to farm that helps you complete kill count quests (this time for Ceejay) as well as helps you find items many other items. Something to look out for when taking on Sand Castles: Their attacks have knock back! They can send you flying across the screen with a chunk of your health missing if you're not careful.
- Farming Spot Three - Location: Gold Beach Animated Enemies: Anchor Bugs Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: The Anchor Bugs along the northern part of the coast are much stronger then their southern kin, so remember to take a rest when you can. To get to this location quickly you can cross through the water without encountering any other enemies; a good way to save up stamina and health.
----------------------------------------
- Farming Spot One - Location: Otami Ruins Animated Enemies: Feathered Coatls Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: This spot is a very active one, chances are you'll get two or three extra Feathered Coatls (coupled with the 5 that are already there) following someone from their run either to or from the Blood Tree. They have a wide wandering range so you might not get to rest long between spawns, a crew of 4 or 5 is a good idea.
- Farming Spot Two - Location: Otami Ruins Animated Enemies: Tiny Terrors Spawn Rate: Moderate
Notes: Farming in this spot is a good idea. The Tiny Terrors are habitual: Sentenals alerting a group of three others who come back to fight you. If you stand dead center of the stairs you'll be in the middle of this, so you'll have the enemies coming to you, literally. A full crew is best, as you can get overwhelmed.
- Farming Spot Three - Location: Otami Runis Animated Enemies: Tiny Terrors, Witch Doctors Spawn Rate: High; WARNING ENDLESS SPAWN!!
Notes: What is it about Tiny Terrors and their desire to spawn endlessly? Don't take these guys lightly though just because you might be stronger. They have the animated Witch Doctor making rounds with them on patrol. They're much, much stronger and have a ranged attack that makes you move slower. A full crew is required to take this spot on, chances are once you start killing one group another will show up just as you've run out of stamina!

those are pretty good farming spots, that i always used. but as for best farming spot out of all of zOMG, i would have to say all of Shallow Seas is the greatest farming spot.
Warning: Shallow Seas is only accessable by defeating all of Otami Ruins (Defeat of Stone Coatl, only through the quest)

Blood, you might want to go back and edit in that by talking to Trixie, and choosing "Is there any way to change my Charge Level?", you can farm an area without having to change rings around.

I'm glad you caught that before I did. A lot of people don't seem to know that little "trick".

Ive found that you can solo farm the Garlic's in Bill's Ranch with relative ease, and run into that giant Garlic (I can't for the life of me remember it's name) after about 30 minutes. If you can get it without interference from the tiny ones, when it dies and makes 5-6 Garlic's, as long as you have at least 60 stamina left, you can take them out no problem
