Meeting the Family, Part 1 (Feb 17th)

Yakir: *in the clearing, looking around*

Lexi: *trots into the clearing and spots Yakir* Hi Yakir!

Yakir: Hi Lexi! =D Ready to go meet my mom? *isn't sure if Itomaru will be there or not*

Lexi: Sure! I told Caerus about the family meeting today, so me night show up at the clearing. I don't know when, though.

Yakir: Okay, that sounds cool. We can stop by the clearing after you get to meet my mom. ^^ *thinking it won't take too long* Mom's at the tree house, which isn't too far from the clearing. *starts to lead the way*

Lexi: I haven't been in a treehouse before. This ought to be fun. ^_^ *follows Yakir*

Yakir: Really? Well, I guess they're not too common in Namiah. I lived in the treehouse for my whole childhood. 3nodding

Lexi: I don't think many Namrah are good at building...well, buildings. And I'd think treehosues would be harder than buildings on the ground.

Yakir: True. I'm not sure how Dad built it. Maybe a human helped?

Lexi: Maybe. Or an anthro, they'd probably be just as good at building things.

Yakir: Maybe, though I don't know if my Dad has an anthro friend. confused If so I never met them. Anyway, we're here. ^^ *a treehouse is visible dead ahead*

Lexi: *looks up at it* Yay! ...How do we get in? Are their stairs or something, because I'm not sure how good I am at climbing trees...

Yakir: No stairs, you have to climb up. sweatdrop Would you like me to make you a web ladder?

Lexi: *looks up at the branches between the ground at the treehouse doubtfully* ...I could give it a try...*thinking:* How do they get up there? Being part spider must really give you good climbing skills.

Yakir: Like I said, I can make you a web ladder if you don't want to try climbing up on your own. It'll help out a lot.

Lexi: *looks it over again* ...Yeah, that'd probably be a good idea. Thanks. smile

Yakir: No problem. ^^ *climbs up the tree effortlessly all the way to the tree house, as if his paws were slightly sticky, and almost seems to lay down in front of the house facing outward, angling before shooting out a web that clings to a nearby branch and the base of another tree, creating a gentle incline*

Lexi: Thanks! *climbs up the web carefully, making sure not to fall off*

Yakir: *watching her as she climbs up from off to the side of the web so he doesn't get in the way*

Lexi: *carefully steps into the treehouse and spuresses a relieved sigh* That was cartainly easier than climbing the tree, though I don't know if I could do it often. I'd probably get used to it if I did, though.

Yakir: I think you could get used to it if you had to, but I can't imagine you ever having to. *can't make a tree house on his own and probably wouldn't want to* Anyway, let's go in. ^^ *walks through the entrance of the tree house* Hi Mom! biggrin

Zinnia: *waves* Hello Yakir! How're you? *waves at Lexi* ^^

Yakir: I'm good. This is Lexi. =D

Zinnia: Nice to meet you Lexi. I'm Zinnia.

Lexi: Hi Zinnia! It's good to meet you, too.

Zinnia: So how're you? Did you two have fun on Valentine's Day?

Yakir: *nods* I had fun. It was a really nice day. ^^

Lexi: *grins* Yeah, it was great. We watched movies all night until we fell asleep in front of the TV.

Zinnia: Oh, that's sounds like fun. What kind of movies did you watch?

Yakir: It was a Disney movie marathon. ^^

Zinnia: Ah, I remember Disney. I used to watch them all the time when I was little, along with other kinds of movies.

Lexi: Yeah, they're good movies. I lost track of how many we watched, I got too tired to remember after a while, but we saw a lot.

Yakir: So how was your Valentine's Day?

Zinnia: It was very good. ^^ I went back to the house and got some candy for Itomaru and also one of the heart shaped cookies I think Sara had made. I'm kind of curious to see what Itomaru give me in return in about a month from now.

Yakir: A month from now? I thought that it was the next day.

Zinnia: No, it's a month from then, on White day. ^^

Lexi: A month? That's a long time! I wonder who came up with that?

Zinnia: The Japanese I believe. I'm afraid I don't really know the specifics.

Yakir: A whole month apart...I wonder if there's an underlying reasonong behind it.

Meeting the Family, Part 2 (Feb 22nd)

Caerus: *races into the clearing*

Lexi: *chases after him* Wait up!

Yakir: *walks into the clearing and looks around, waving at Lexi* Hi Lexi! =D *walks over, waving at Caerus as well* Hello! Caerus, right?

Caerus: Yup, that's me! And you're Yakir?

Lexi: *trying to catch her breath* Hi.

Yakir: Yep! Nice to meet you. ^^ So how are you two?

Caerus: Nice to meet you, too! I'm doing fine.

Lexi: *starting to catch her breath, speaks between breaths* Aside from...being slightly...winded, I'm...good, too.

Yakir: Well that's good. 3nodding *isn't sure what to start a conversation about*

Caerus: So...Lexi says you two have been watching a lot of movies. Do you have any favorites?

Lexi: *caught her breath, but doesn't know what to talk about, either*

Yakir: I like most of them, especially Aladdin, Tarzan, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, and the Lion King. biggrin

Caerus: *nods* Those are good. I like the ones with a lot of action in them. I like the excitement.

Yakir: Those are pretty good too. The action scenes in the ones I've seen were nice. 3nodding

Caerus: As good as movies are, I don't see them to often. I like to stay active.

Lexi: *To Yakir* He's the one that runs alot, and is really fast.

Yakir: *at Lexi* I thought so. ^^ *at Caerus* That's good. Actually, I hadn't seen a movie before I met Lexi. 3nodding

Caerus: Really? What kinds of stuff did you do for fun?

Yakir: I liked exploring, and when I got my flute I'd practice that a lot too. ^^

Caerus: Oh, you can play the flute? That's cool that you have a skill like that. The only skill I have is running. *laughs*

Yakir: Running's a nice skill. If you're ever in danger you're more likely to get away. 3nodding

Caerus: I guess you're right. Not that there tends to be a lot of danger in Namiah. Unless it's from something natural, like a broken tree. Running fast didn't help me much when I was stuck up a tree that was falling apart.

Yakir: Stuck in a tree that was falling apart? Ouch! Did you get hurt?

Caerus: Nope, I got down just fine. Lexi saved me. smile

Yakir: That's good! =D *thinks it's great that Lexi saved him*

Lexi: *looks down, slightly embarassed, and scuffs a foot along the ground* I didn't really do anything; one of my fireballs lead him down.

Lexi: You think so? *smiles at him* It was kind of moving on it's own too, I wasn't directing it at all. I'm not sure if it had a mind of its own, or if it was responding to my subconcious, or what.

Yakir: *nods* It was probably responding to your subconscious. biggrin

Lexi: *nods* That's probably more likely. They've never done that since, though. I wonder why.

Caerus: *starting to get bored (has a short attention span sometimes) and starts looking around*

Yakir: Maybe they do it only when there's some sort of emergency at hand?

Lexi: Hmm, Maybe. Or maybe I just learned how to use my power better, since that was the first time they ever appeared.

Yakir: Neat. =D *thinks* The first time I found my power I was a kit. I kind of forget exactly what happened, all that I remember is that the first time I used it the web wound up being a tangled up ball that freaked me out at first because I wasn't expecting it. xd

Kingdom Hearts 2, Begin! (March 5th)

Lexi: *skids into the clearing and lands in a pile of slush*

Yakir: *spots Lexi* Hello!

Lexi: Oh, hi Yakir! *stands up and shakes slush off her feet*

Yakir: How're you? ^^

Lexi: Cold and wet. Slush will do that to you. But I'm good otherwise. ^_^ How're you?

Yakir: I'm good. ^^ The slush is going to be going away pretty soon unless another cold spell sets in. 3nodding

Lexi: Yup, winter's almost over. It's still pretty cold out sometimes. 3nodding Hmm...it seems like it'll be pretty chilly tonight, I was going to stay in and start Kingdom Hearts 2. Want to come watch?

Yakir: I'd love to. =D

Lexi: OK! Let's go then! biggrin *Heads off to her house*

Yakir: Okay. =D *follows happily*

Lexi: *gets home, goes inside, and sets up the system* Want a snack to munch while I'm playing?

Yakir: Sure. =D That would be nice.

Lexi: OK. You in the mood for anything in particular?

Yakir: *shakes his head* Anything is fine. ^^

Lexi: OK. Is popcorn good? *starts heading to the kitchen*

Yakir: Yeah, popcorn is great. =D

Lexi: OK. *pops some popcorn, pours it in a bowl and heads back to the TV* Game time! biggrin *turns it on and watches the opening video* Such a pretty song...

Yakir: *nods* I wonder who the girl who was drawing is.

Lexi: I think she was in Chain of Memories. But I assume we'll find out at some point in this game. *game starts out as Roxas; plays through what's initially a tutorial*

Yakir: *nods and watches, tilting his head* He kinda looks like Sora. *points*

Lexi: Yeah he does. I think they're related...somehow.

Yakir: Maybe we'll find out how later. 3nodding

Lexi: I would assume so. That'd be pretty nasty of them not to tell us ever. XD

Yakir: It would. Though sometimes things are left up to speculation. But something like that I think they would tell us, otherwise people would be left guess things like he's his father, brother, cousin, etc. xd

Lexi: XD He's too young to be Sora's father! *gets to a part where Roxas meets a guy in a hooded black coat who's speaking with a familiar voice* Hey, is that...? *the guy throws back his hood to show he's Axel* It's Dad! biggrin I didn't expect to see him so early in the game!

Yakir: I know, I know. But sometimes humans are weird like that. xd *looks at Axel* Oooh, neat! =D

Lexi: *has to fight against Axel* surprised *isn't a hard fight, beats him* ...Dad must not have been really trying.

Yakir: Probably not. 3nodding Plus, I can't imagine a hard boss this early in the game.

Lexi: That's true. *reality sort of shifts in the game so Axel disappears* Aw. I hope we get to see him again.

Yakir: I'm sure we will. =D

Lexi: Yeah. I hope it's soon. :3

Yakir: *nods*

Lexi: *plays more until they get to a part with the girl from the opening again* Oh hey, so that's her name; Naminé.

Yakir: That's a nice name. I wonder what role she plays.

Lexi: Yeah...she kind of looks like Roxas. A little. With the blond hair and the white clothes, anyway.

Yakir: *nods* Maybe they're siblings?

Lexi: Maybe. *plays more until Axel shows up again* Dad's back! biggrin

Yakir: Nice! I wonder if you'll have to fight him again.

Lexi: *Axel and Roxas talk, then Axel moves to attack Roxas, but time stops for everyone but Roxas, who runs off* Aw, guess not.

Yakir: I guess you'll get your chance some time later. 3nodding

Lexi: Probably. *plays a while longer, until it's revealed that Roxas has been in one huge computer simulation of a town until now, then he fights Axel once more.* biggrin

Yakir: I bet this'll be the last fight in the computer simulation. =D

Lexi: You're probably right. smile *beat Axel, then Roxas finds Sora asleep in a glass flower-egg-pod-thing. Roxas disappears and Sora wakes up* Huh. I wonder where Roxas went.

Yakir: *shrugs* I wonder too.

Game Meets Reality (March 6th)

Lexi: Aw, too bad. I hope I do get to see him in the game. smile ...I never asked what his name was. >_>; I suppose I'll find out eventually.

Yakir: *wanders into the clearing*

Lexi: Hi Yakir! *jogs over to him* I think I just met someone else from Kingdom Hearts 2!

Yakir: Really? Neat! =D

Lexi: Yeah. It looked like he was from Organization XIII, though he sounded weird when I started talking about the game. I never got his name.

Yakir: Huh. Well, maybe he didn't know he was in a game and it freaked him out a bit?

Lexi: Yeah, probably...I hope I see him in the game soon. I want to know who he is now. smile

Yakir: Just don't go up to him proclaiming his name. You'd probably freak him out more. xd

Lexi: Yeah. Unless I told him that Dad told me his name. That ought to be reasonable enough.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, that would probably work. 3nodding In the mood to play it tonight? Maybe we'll get to see him and find out who he is. =D

Lexi: Sure, let's go! *heads to the house*

Yakir: *follows*

Lexi: *heads to house and starts up the game* So last night we finished up in the Land of Dragons, with Mulan. I wonder why they didn't just call that world China, bcause that's where Mulan took place.

Yakir: *sits down next to her and shrugs* I don't know. It would have made more sense to call it China.

Lexi: ...Then again, I suppose it'd be weird to say "we're going to the world of China now," since China is a country. It'd be like the country broke off and floated away somehow.

Yakir: They could have called it the Land of China. =3

Lexi: But all the lands in Kingdom Hearts are separate worlds, floating in space.

Yakir: True. *nods*

Star-Gazing Near Springtime (March 12th)

Yakir: *wanders out into the clearing*

Lexi: *Jogs into the clearing and sees Yakir* Hi Yakir!

Yakir: Hi Lexi! ^^ *walks over and gives her a hug* How're you? biggrin

Lexi: *nuzzles* I'm doing good. It's getting warm out, the weather's really nice. smile

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, it is. Soon it'll be Summer. ^^

Lexi: Yeah, but first it'll be Spring.

Yakir: *nods* Yep! I heard that Spring is very rainy.

Lexi: Rainy? It's probably gonna be muddy, then. Might be a good season to stay inside. Or maybe just when it's raining, you could avoid the mud.

Yakir: *nods* If you want to stay inside we can always watch movies and I can watch you play your games. ^^

Lexi: That's always nice. :3 Though I suppose you can always stay out of the mud by climbing trees.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, that's what I do most of the time. ^^

Lexi: Too bad I can't climb like you can. You must get a great view up in the trees

Yakir: *nods* You know I'd be more than happy to help you climb though. ^^

Lexi: Maybe I should take you up on that offer sometime. smile

Yakir: Just let me know and I'll be able to do it anytime. ^^ So what would you like to do tonight?

Lexi: The same thing we do every night, Yakir: try to take over the world! I dunno. You have any ideas?

Yakir: Want to go star-gazing? Or we could go see a movie. ^^

Lexi: Star-gazing sounds good. We haven't done that in a while.

Yakir: That's what I was thinking. ^^ Let's go. =3 *starts to head toward the place where he took her to view the stars last time, waiting up so Lexi can walk beside him*

Lexi: *falls in step beside him* I wonder if we'll still be able to see the constellations we made up. I heard that the stars in the sky change depending on the seasons.

Yakir: Really? I never knew that. *thinks* We'd probably be able to see them for a little while longer. ^^

Lexi: I hope so. Though when the stars change, we'll have plenty of room in the sky to make new constellations. biggrin

Yakir: That sounds like fun. I wonder what shapes we'll find in the new set of stars. =D

Lexi: Me too. smile *sees the stargazing spot up ahead*

Yakir: *spots it too* Hey, we're almost there. ^^

Lexi: Yup! *reaches the spot and sits down, making herself comfortable before looking up at the sky*

Yakir: *sits down next to her and also looks up at the sky, searching for their constellations*

Lexi: *finds her favorite constellation first and points up at it* There's Amorous Nocturne!

Yakir: *looks up at it* I see it! biggrin *looks around* There's Lanzo the Lion. ^^ *points*

Lexi: *looks at the constellation* Oh yeah! *looks around a bit more, then points* And there's the Oak.

Albaine: *nods and points* There's the fish. Trout, right? ^^

Lexi: Yup, Trout. *smiles, then just stares at the stars*

Meeting Dad (March 15th)

Lexi: *making several tiny yellow fireballs dart around the clearing like fireflies*

Yakir: *wanders into the clearing and spots fireballs darting around* ...? *looks around more and spots Lexi* Hi Lexi! =D *avoids the fireballs and wanders over*

Lexi: Hi Yakir! How're you?

Yakir: I'm good! You? ^^

Lexi: I'm good too. It's been too long since I had fun with my fireballs, so I'm playing around with them now.

Yakir: Oooh, fun. =D *looks over* Hey, it's my Dad. *blinks* When he get to be an elder? *waves*

Lexi: Your dad? *looks over* Oh, so he's the spider pokemir? *waves*

Yakir: Want to go meet him?

Lexi: Sure! I haven't met your father yet.

Yakir: Okay. Let's go. ^^ *walks over to his parents* Hello!

Itomaru: *mumbles* I certainly hope not... *blinks* Oh... Good evening

Lexi: *walks up with him* Hi!

Itomaru: *uncomfortable*

Yakir: Dad, this is Lexi. Lexi, this is my dad. ^^ So when did you become an elder? *trying to start a conversation to make his dad less uncomfortable*

Itomaru: Just recently. *looks at Lexi* When did you two meet?

Lexi: Um...*stares into space for a while, thinking* I'm not sure...Fall, maybe?

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, that seems about right. Fall or Early Winter.

Itomaru: Oh, so quite some time ago? *to Yakir* Before or after your sister's children?

Yakir: *thinks* Probably before. Or around the same time. *tilts his head, wondering why they're being questioned like this*

Itomaru: *nods, knowing full well that these questions are pointless*

Yakir: Um... *wonders what to talk about now*

Itomaru: *is perfectly fine being quiet.* ... *leaves*

Yakir: *blinks* Um...well that was my dad. ^^;

Itomaru: *walking away* ... *sigh*

Yakir: I wonder what those questions were about. It kinda felt like we were being interrogated. Oo

Lexi: Yeah, I wonder why...*shrug*

Yakir: *thinks before someting clicks* Oh, he's probably worried about more grandkits. xd

Lexi: Grandki.-- *stops mid-word, blushes faintly* What, from us? We're not that far yet...are we?

Yakir: I don't think we are... sweatdrop But I think he's worried that we are.

Lexi: Oh...*now finds herself wondering what kits of theirs would be like, and tries to push away the thought*

Yakir: *kind of wondering the same thing, though isn't too wrapped up in it* Probably because Yuri had her kits not too long ago...I mean they only just grew into adults a little while ago. He never really got over her having kits. Not sure why...I mean, Yuri and Latte have been dating for a while I think. *sits down and thinks* Maybe he's just comparing how long we've been known each other to how long he knew Mom before they had kids.

Lexi: Hmm...I gess that makes sense. *also sits down* I heard that Dad and grandpa Del both felt really old when they first had grandkits. Mabe that's common?

Yakir: Maybe. But there isn't much you can do about that, right? Mom didn't feel old when Yuri had her kids.

Lexi: Yeah. I wonder if it's a guy thing?

Yakir: It could be. 3nodding I wonder if I'd do the same thing if I had grandkids. xd

Lexi: *laughs* That'd be quite a way off still, if we aren't even ready for kits yet.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, I can't really imagine having grandkits now. xd

Lexi: I hope grandpa Del still doesn't feel old every time he has more grandkits or great-grandkits, or more. Otherwise he'd be feeling reeeeaally old by now. XD

Yakir: He probably got used to it. I bet he likes new family by now. 3nodding I mean, I would if I had grandkits and great-grandkits. Or at least I hope I would. xd

Lexi: He'd have to have gotten used to it, wouldn't he? Otherwise he'd probably be going crazy by now. XD

Yakir: Yeah. xd

Tag, You're it! (March 19th)

Yakir: *wanders out*

Lexi: *napping under a tree*

Yakir: *spots Lexi and wanders over to her, debating whether or not to wake her up*

Lexi: *snores slightly and twitches in her sleep*

Yakir: *smiles and pokes her* Hello. ^^

Lexi: *twitches, opens her eyes slowly before looking up at him* Oh...hi Yakir. *yawns*

Yakir: Sleepy? biggrin

Lexi: Kinda, I felt like taking a nap. *stands up and stretches* How are you today?

Yakir: I'm good. ^^ How're you? Did you have a nice nap?

Lexi: Yup! I had a weird dream, though. I think I was in a pile of fuzzy little things, kits or kittens or Farfallas or stuffed animals, or all of them. I was trying to get out of the pile, but they were all tickling me and making me laugh too hard to get out. It wasn't a bad dream really, just...weird.

Yakir: That's a funny dream. I can't say I've had a dream like that. xd I wonder if it means anything.

Lexi: I dunno. I usually don't remember my dreams, either. Maybe I rememebred this one because I talked about it right after I woke up. Do you ever remember your dreams?

Yakir: *nods* Sometimes. Usually they're pretty weird. 3nodding I think I had a couple of scary dream too. I can't remember any off the top of my head though.

Lexi: I guess dreams are usually weird, then. If you ever remember any, would you mind telling them to me? I'd be interested to hear what other people's dreams are like.

Yakir: I'd be happy to tell you about some of my dreams if I can remember any of them. =D So what would you like to do today?

Lexi: Hmm, I dunno. *looks around for ideas* Hmm...I'd suggest swimming, but the water's probably still cold from winter...

Yakir: *thinks* Yeah, probably. At least for a couple more weeks, though some of the namrah at home are swimming already. 3nodding

Lexi: They must really like the cold. Or swimming. *looks around more* ...Would Tag be too childish? Or we could always watch another movie.

Yakir: Tag sounds like fun. =D No, I don't think it'll be too childish. ^^

Lexi: *giggles* Alright. *taps him with one paw* You're it! *dashes off*

Yakir: *laughs and runs after her* I'm gonna get you! =D

Lexi: Gotta catch me first! *runs into the forest and dodges around trees to make it harder to keep up*

Yakir: *chases after her, losing a bit of ground from the trees but not too much*

Lexi: *giggles and turns a corner quickly, then ducks behind a screen of thick bushes and runs in a different direction*

Yakir: *continues running in the same direction for a few feet, then looks around wondering where Lexi is* Hmm... *climbs a tree and looks around for her*

Lexi: *jumps into a clump of ferns and looks out, wondering if Yakir's still behind her and trying not to giggle.*

Yakir: *spots Lexi over in the ferns and climbs down the tree to go after her*

Lexi: *doesn't see him coming, so she stays there a moment to catch her breath*

Yakir: *creeps up silently in the ferns* ninja

Lexi: *ready to run again, looks out through the ferns to make sure it's safe. Doesn't see Yakir's dark fur in the shadowed forest, so she bolts away*

Yakir: *pounces toward Lexi*

Lexi: *is suddenly squashed when Yakir pounces her* Ack! *looks back at him* Ah, you caught me!

Yakir: Yes I did! ^^

Speaking of the Future (March 26th)

Yakir: *wanders out*

Lexi: *poking around in the dirt near bushes and trees*

Yakir: *spots Lexi and walks over* Hello. ^^ Looking for something?

Lexi: Hi Yakir! And kinda. I've noticed a couple of little flowers starting to sprout, so I wanted to see if I can find some more. I think they're called crocuses.

Yakir: Ah, fun. =D I've seen the flowers starting to sprout too. ^^

Lexi: Spring's gonna be great, all the new plants growing, all the animals coming back or waking up from hibernation, and before you know it there'll be birds with new nests and animals with little ones. It'll be so sweet!

Yakir: *nods* Spring's the season for new life! ^^ Do you think namrah will start families this Spring too?

Lexi: Probably, Namrah seem to start families all the time. Usually a bunch at a time, for some reason. I wonder if there's suddenly something in the air or something.

Yakir: I'm not sure. *thinks* Maybe there's only a certain time when namrah can have kids? Though it could be something in the air.

Lexi: Maybe. Either way, I'd be a shame if a couple really wanted kids and kept trying for them, but couldn't because it wasn't one of those times that a bunch of Namrah had some. Or if that time rolled around at the wrong moment and a pair that didn't want kids had them anyway.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, that would be a shame. sad Though it's probably best that namrah for the most part don't know when that time is. That way no couple feel rushed to have kids since they don't know when the next time would be.

Lexi: That's true, too. If Namrah did know when the time was, your dad would start looking at us funny every time it was getting close! *laughs*

Yakir: I know, right? xd Shouldn't really blame him though, I mean one of those times he'd probably be right. ^^;

Lexi: Well, we'd have to get that far first. XD *pause* ...Have you ever thought about if you'd want to? He kinda got me wondering...

Yakir: If I'd want kids? *thinks* Well, sure. Eventually. It'd be nice to have some kids and to watch them grow up.

Lexi: *nods, smiling* Yeah, me too. Though if we did, we'd probably have to tell you dad veeery carefully. XD

Yakir: *nods* Yeah. The way my sister told him was by simply producing the grandkids and him just finding out. He was a bit in shock. xd We'd probably have to ease him into it, and hope for the best.

Lexi: Yeah, that'd definitely be the way to do it. Same with my dad too, I heard he still doesn't like hearing my niece call him "grandpa."

Yakir: So what does she call him?

Lexi: I think he allows her to call him "g-pa."

Yakir: G-pa? That's unique. 3nodding

Lexi: It sure is. Grandpa Del just says to call him Grandpa Del.

Yakir: He's the one at the very top of your family tree, right?

Lexi: Yup, that's him. Mew calls him the patriarch of our family.

Yakir: Neat. =D Though doesn't a patriarch hold a different connotation to it?

Lexi: Doesn't patriarch just mean 'a male head of a family'?

Yakir: Yes, but I heard that in human terms often times the male head of the family winds up deciding matters involving the family, sort of ruling them. Or so I heard from my mom, she might have the wrong idea.

Lexi: Maybe. But hardly any Namrah decide things for anyone else, unless its their kits or something. Maybe she figures a different definition applies here.

Yakir: *nods* Most likely. ^^ Head of the family in it's simplest terms seems to describe him well. 3nodding

Lexi: Yup. Do you know if there's any other Namrah families that are big enough to be considered to have a patriarch? And matriarch, for that matter.

Yakir: I'm not sure...I don't think so.

Lexi: There's probably at least one or two. By now. Granda Del may be one of the oldest Namrah on Namiah, but there are still plenty of others that have been around for a long time.

Yakir: True. I wonder if we'll get to meet any of them someday.

"I love you"(March 30th)

Yakir: *wanders out*

Lexi: *gazing at Amourous Noturne and humming happily to herself*

Yakir: *spots Lexi and waves* Hello. ^^

Lexi: *eyes light up when she heard Yakir, bounds over to him* Yakir! It's so good to see you!

Yakir: It's good to see you too. =D *hugs* How're you? ^^

Lexi: I'm wonderful! *hug nuzzle* Hey Yakir, remember how we said if we ever had kids, we'd have to figure out how to tell your dad so he wouldn't freak out?

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, why? *has an idea, but wants to hear it aloud*

Lexi: 'Cuz we'd better start thinking. ^_^ *rests a paw on her belly*

Yakir: *ears perk* Really? Wow... biggrin *ecstatic*

Lexi: Yup! ^_^ *practically glowing with happiness* That was really fast though, wasn't it? We were just talking about having kids not too long ago.

Yakir: Yeah, we were. xd I bet something out there heard us.

Lexi: *giggles* Yeah, I think so. Something's probably laughing at us now.

Yakir: *nods* Yep, you're probably right. xd

Lexi: I wonder how many we're gonna have.

Yakir: I do too. =D We'll have to start thinking of names. ^^

Lexi: Yeah. But we have lots of time for that. I think it might be better to figure out how we're telling your dad first. And mine, for that matter.

Yakir: *nods* True. *thinks* We might want to get my mom to help us out with getting him to warm up to the idea. No guarantee, but she might be able to help.

Lexi: You think she'd take the news much better, then? That could work. *thinks* I wonder if I should bring my mom to the conversation, too. I'm sure she'd be delighted.

Yakir: Oh, definitely. When Yuri had her kits mom was going on and on about how cute they were. xd So I'm sure she'd be happy about it.

Lexi: Great, that'll be an easy conversation, then. smile We may as well tell them together. When do you think she should?

Yakir: I'm thinking that the sooner the better. That way he at least knows it's coming before they're born. I don't know if that will help, but maybe it will.

Lexi: Yeah. I'll try to get mom to come here sometimes soon. If you do to with your mom, we could all be here together when we tell them.

Yakir: Okay. biggrin *smiles* I feel excited. ^^

Lexi: Me too. ^_^ ...You know, I don't think either of us has ever said it, and it's way overdue: I love you.

Yakir: *smiles and nuzzles* I love you too. ^^

Lexi: *happily nuzzles back, then yawns* Oh dear, I ought to get my rest. Wouldn't want to overexert myself. G'night Yakir!

Yakir: Night Lexi. ^^

Breaking the News to Dad (March 31st)

Lexi: *trots into the clearing* I hope Yakir's here.

Selaba: *follows Lexi* Yes, I'd love to meet him. smile

Yakir: *wanders into the clearing and looks around, waving at Lexi* Hello! =D

Zinnia: *following Yakir, wondering what's up, and waves at Lexi and Selaba* ^^

Lexi: Hi Yakir! And hi Zinna. *trots over* This is my mom, Selaba.

Sel: *follows* Hello, it's nice to meet you. smile

Yakir: It's nice to meet you too Selaba. ^^

Zinnia: *smiles* So how are you all tonight?

Lexi: I'm doing great. ^_^ Because, well...eh, may as well cut right to it: I'm pregnant!

Sel: surprised Really? Oh wow, congratulations! *hugnuzzle* And I suppose Yakir's the father? *smiles at him*

Yakir: Yep! ^^ *smiles back at Sel*

Zinnia: Oh, congratulations! =D I was wondering if that was the case. ^^ So when did you two find out?

Lexi: Just last night. So it might be a while yet before they're born.

Sel: Oh this is wonderful news. smile Yakir, I haven't met you before, though Lexi's told me a little about you. Would you like to tell me more about yourself?

Zinnia: Aw, I bet they'll be cute. ^^

Yakir: Oh, sure. I'll try anyway. ^^; *doesn't think he's very good at describing himself* Well, this is my mother Zinnia, and my father is a Pokémir named Itomaru. I have 3 siblings, 2 brothers and a sister, and I think I have 1 neice and 1 nephew. I grew up in a tree house. *thinks* I play the flute too. It was given to me by Celebi, a friend of mine. Oh, and I can shoot webs too.

Sel: Ah, thank you. smile Have you told anyone else about this yet?

Lexi: Nope, we wanted to tell you two first. And we heard both our fathers didn't react well to our siblings having kids, so we're trying to think of a nice way to tell them. Any ideas?

Zinnia: *thinks* Ah, no...Itomaru won't react very well...I wonder if I can warm him up to the idea somehow.

Yakir: That's what we were hoping. ^^;

Zinnia: Hmm, well, there might not be a specific way to tell him that will make it better. confused But talking to him might help a bit. 3nodding

Itomaru: *just so happens to walk out, having a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach*

Lexi: Hmm...How would we start the conversation without blurting it out? I can't think of a good way to ease into the subject.

Sel: *thinks* Maybe we should just talk family in general for a bit. Introducing me to him could make that a natural progression of the conversation. What do you think?

Zinnia: *thinks* Yes, would probably be best. Talking about the family would definitely be a good way to ease into it. 3nodding *senses something* Oh, speaking of Itomaru...Hello Itomaru! ^^ *waves*

Yakir: *waves as well, hoping things go well*

Itomaru: *looks at them all, and would go pale if it was possible for him. waves back and walks over* Hello milady. And... Who might these two Misses be?

Lexi: Hello Itomaru. I'm Lexi, we met once. And this is my Mom, Selaba.

Sel: Hello, it's nice to meet you.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, it wasn't that long ago. ^^;

Zinnia: I'm sure he remembers you Lexi. =3

Itomaru: The pleasure is mine.... *looks around* Why are the four of you gathered here?

Lexi: Well, Yakir hadn't met my mom yet, so I thought I should introduce them. And he brought his mom along.

Sel: *nods* It's nice getting to know people. Yakir mentioned you're a pokemir. I'm not too familiar with pokemon; what kind are you?

Yakir: *nods* Yep. ^^

Zinnia: *just watching for now*

Itomaru: I am an Ariados... *glances at Zinnia*

Kavrin: *nods, thinking that some things are not to be pried into*

Zinnia: *smiles at him, revealing nothing...yet* ^^

Sel: Oh, I see. That must be very interesting. I don't have any abilities myself, although my mate and some of my children have fire abilities.

Lexi: *nods*

Itomaru: *is quiet* ... *not good at small talk*

Zinnia: Oh, that's nice. ^^ I wonder if Tsukiko or Keiichi have any powers.

Yakir: I dunno. I mean, that's kind of far down the line for powers to be inherited, right?

Itomaru: *shakes his head* Her mate was a pokemir hybrid... Fully powered. Wouldn't shock me if they were more powerful than yourself.

Yakir: Wow. Oo *had forgotten about that*

Zinnia: *nods* They might be. ^^

Itomaru: *nods, content that he made a point*

Lexi: I don't know about pokemir, but I don't think it's unusual for children of Namrah with strong powers to inherit none at all.

Sel: *nods* Yes, even though my mate has strong fire abilties, some of our kits have none at all. Of course, some have pretty strong abilties, so it does vary.

Lexi: And I've only got a small one.

Itomaru: *ear twitches, as he begins to get annoyed by the large company*

Zinnia: *nudges Itomaru* Just for a while longer, okay? ^^

Yakir: *senses that Itomaru is getting tired of the company so sort of pushes the conversation back on the original track where it would lead toward children* My powers kind of average I think, so any kids of mine probably wouldn't have any powers, or at least not strong ones. 3nodding

Itomaru: *looks back at Zinnia and mentally sighs. looks back at Yakir* One would think as such.

Lexi: Hmm...Though I wonder if any kit will have a combination between your powers and mine. What would that be like? Flaming webs? XD

Itomaru: *stares at Lexi in an almost, but still politely, menacing way* ...

Yakir: Wow, that would be really cool. biggrin

Lexi: *sees Itomaru staring at her and realizes her tongue slipped slightly* ^_^; Um, speaking of which, we have some news...

Itomaru: *just blinks*

Yakir: *nods* Lexi and I are going to be parents soon. ^^

Zinnia: *feigns surpise* Oooh, congratulations. =D

Yakir: Thanks. ^^; *knows what his mom is doing, but was still caught a bit off guard by it*

Itomaru: *blinks*

Sel: That's wonderful news! I wonder when they'll be coming. *trying to play along with the feigning surprise*

Lexi: Well, we just found out yesterday, so it might be a while.

Zinnia: I wonder how many there'll be. ^^

Yakir: I'm not sure. *wonders if Lexi has an idea*

Itomaru: *just sits there quietly* ...

Lexi: I wish I could tell, too. I don't feel really fat, so I don't think there's a huge amount, but beyond that I'm not sure.

Sel: *notices Itomaru's been silent since he heard, directs a question at him* What do you think of it?

Zinnia: *figures that the news is sinking in, and thinking that the reaction he had was a good one* Ah, alright. ^^

Yakir: I'll be happy with any amount. biggrin Though a huge amount would probably be a lot of work.

Itomaru: *looks at selena and blinks* Of what?

Zinnia: *gives Sel a sort of, "it's okay, he's fine," look, thinking that it wouldn't be good to push*

Sel: *catches Zinnia's look* Ah, nevermind. ^_^;

Itomaru: Ah... Okay then...

Zinnia: *smiles and gives Sel a look of 'thank you'*

Sel: *smiles back at Zinnia*

Lexi: I wonder if I'll get any of those weird cravings that I hear expecting mothers sometimes get. Did either of you have those?

Zinnia: I had a craving for blood once when I was pregnant. 3nodding

Yakir: I blame Corbin for that craving. xd

Lexi: Wow, that's a weird one. That must have been hard to satisfy. Unless you just ate really raw meat.

Sel: I don't remember having any cravings, not for either of my litters.

Zinnia: Well, Itomaru let me have some of his blood, so it wasn't too hard to satisfy. ^^;

Yakir: I wonder what determines whether you get cravings or not.

Sel: I think it might be hormones, but I'm not sure.

Yakir: Interesting. =D *wonders what it must feel like to be pregnant (though he wouldn't want to try xd )*

Zinnia: Started thinking of names yet? ^^

Lexi: No, not yet. I'm not sure where to start thinking of them.

Sel: I waited until I could see the eggs before giving it serious thought.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, I think I'd want to wait till I see them before we start coming up with names. ^^

Zinnia: Same here, though I pondered about what to name them before they were born a little just so I could have a few ideas. 3nodding

Lexi: Hmm...I've heard some Namrah name their kits based on a theme. Would you want to try something like that, Yakir?

Yakir: Oh, sure. If you'd like to. ^^ What should the theme be?

Lexi: Hmm...I dunno. ^_^; Maybe constellations? Or would that be too wierd?

Yakir: That wouldn't be weird. I'm sure we could find some nice names based on the constellations. ^^

Lexi: Great, I'll have to look some up, then. smile

Yakir: Me too. ^^

Lexi: That'll be fun to look up. We might even learn some constellations while we're at it.

Sel: I look forward to hearing what you pick. smile I should get to bed now. Good night, it was nice meeting you two!

Lexi: I should sleep, too. Night! *nuzzles Yakir*

Yakir: *nods* Yeah. =D *nuzzles Lexi back* Have a good night. ^^

Zinnia: *smiles and waves at Sel* It was nice meeting you as well. biggrin

Home Sweet Home (April 5th)

Lexi: *sprawled out near the edge of the clearing*

Yakir: *wanders into the clearing and spots Lexi* Hello Lexi! =D *wanders over and nuzzles her*

Lexi: Hi Yakir! *nuzzles back, then rolls to her feet* Oof. I'm starting to feel heavy now. I wonder when the kits will come.

Yakir: Maybe soon. ^^ *thinks* Maybe we should fine a place to live together. biggrin *would like to be there when the kids arrive*

Lexi: *ears perk* Oh, good idea! Any idea where we could live? I don't think I'd be suited to a tree house like where you live, even if we could find someone to build one.

Yakir: Do you think there are any uninhabited caves? They're nice and dark, so my eyes won't get irritated during the day. 3nodding *tries to think of other options just in case*

Lexi: There's probably unoccupied caves. We might need to go into the mountains to find one, though. I wonder if there's anyone around who'd know better.

Lexi: Yeah. Now, how do we find one?...

Bahamut: *flies by overhead, lands on a nearby hill and settles down as he looks up at the sky*

Yakir: *sees Bahamut fly overhead* Maybe we can ask him? *points*

Lexi: Oh, good idea. *walks over to Bahamut* Excuse me, could we ask you something?

Bahamut: *looks down at Lexi politely* Certainly, go right ahead.

Lexi: Would you happen to know if there's any unoccupied caves around that a small family could live in?

Bahamut: *thinks* Hmm, I know of a variety of caves. Is there any particular location or features you would prefer?

Yakir: *thinks* I don't think I have any real preferences aside from being kind of close to the forest, or maybe a clearing of some sort... *looks at Lexi to see what she would prefer*

Lexi: *nods* That sounds good to me. Preferably something that doesn't require a lot of climbing to get to, since I'm not really able to do that right now.

Bahamaut: Oh? *notices her enlarged belly* Ah, I take it you are expecting. Congratulations, then. Just a moment while I scout around a bit, and I will see what I can find a suitable cave. *nods politely, then stands up and takes off*

Yakir: *smiles* We're going to get a home together. biggrin *excited about that, and will definitely thank Bahamut for his efforts when he comes back* So many changes so quickly. It's really exciting. ^^

Lexi: Yeah, and all of them good changes. *nuzzles Yakir*

Bahamut: *returns after a short time, landing in front of them* There are a few habitable caves relatively close to here. The closest is in the middle of a forest, is fairly shallow and has a very large mouth, it's likely to get rather wet in heavy rains. The next nearest one is fairly large and at the end of a small ravine and has a wide stream running through it. That may flood in heavy rains, but it has multiple chambers, and at least one or two of those should stay dry at all times. The third nearest one is a bit smaller than the last, with a few chambers of varying size, and the entrance is up a small hill so that it should not be at risk for flooding. But the hill is very rocky and might be difficult to climb, and it is a short distance away from the nearest substantial collection of trees. Do any of those interest you?

Yakir: *nuzzles back, and looks on as Bahamut flies down and lists off the choices* Thank you for your effort. *thinks it over* Hmmm...maybe the second one you mentioned? *looks at Lexi to see what she thinks*

Lexi: That one does sound pretty good. But we should look it over thoroughly before we move in to make sure it would be good. Like, make sure the stream isn't too dangerous for little kits, or that it's still easy to get around in if it did flood.

Bahamut: *nods* Very well. If you'd like I could lead you to the place.

Yakir: Yeah, we definitely should. *nods and looks at Bahamut* It would be great if you could lead us there. biggrin

Bahamut: *nods again* As you wish. Follow me, please. *starts off, leading the way* I believe I have been discourteous. My name is Bahamut; may I ask yours.

Lexi: *realizes she'd asked him a favor without introducing herself* Oh, sorry. I'm Lexi, and this is Yakir.

Yakir: *follows* Nice to meet you Bahamut.

Bahamut: *walks through the forest for a while, then comes to a stream and follows it upstream out of the forest. After a bit it lead to a small ravine that cuts through a rising hill. There's a strip of somewhat rocky land between the bank of the stream and the walls of the ravine on either side* Be careful here, the bank can be a little slippery. *since he's larger (than even a typical Elder), he walks straddling the stream, but there's enough space for Lexi and Yakir to walk on either side of the stream. After a bit the stream disappears into a rough hole in the end of the ravine. Bahamut has to duck his head slightly to avoid brushing against the dry remains of trailing plants hanging from just above the cave mouth. Steps aside just inside the cave* Here we are.

Lexi: *follows, blinking as she waits for her eyes to adjust to the dim light*

Yakir: *looks around at the cave from the entrance, the passageway leading extending before them, with a few branches forming out from the passageway leading into roundish caverns which could pass for rooms (a few...4 or 5 tops?). A couple of them seem to ascend on a gentle incline, one descending downwards a little (and would probably flood during heavy rain), and the others with no noticeable alteration*

Lexi: *peers around now that her eyes have adjusted, looking at the branching chambers. a trickling sound draws her eyes to a small tumble of water, too small and rocky to be called a waterfall, along the wall farthest from the entrance. The water falls into the stream, which winds its way across the floor of the cavern and out the entrance.* Oh, that looks pretty. *walks along the stream, looking into it and stepping in here and there to check the depth* There's a couple spots here that might be a little deep for a young kit, but otherwise I think that's alright. What do you think, Yakir?

Yakir: Yeah, it does. ^^ *checks out the stream and nods* Yes, definitely a couple spots that are too deep for a young kit, but otherwise it's fine. We'll just keep an eye on them and tell them not to go near the stream when we're not right there beside them. 3nodding

Lexi: Yup. *quickly pokes through the side chambers, noting that the couple sloping upwards should stay dry even if the stream overflowed, and that the lower chamber smells damp and moldy, as if it gets wet often. There's various debris and sharp rocks that would need clearing out, and a couple clefts in the rock that a determined kit could wriggle into which might need plugging. points all this out to Yakir* Aside from that, I think it looks good.

Bahamut: *watching all this, glad to see the young couple are putting careful thought into the selection of a home instead of rushing into whatever looks easy or pretty*

Yakir: Yeah. ^^ *will definitely start working on moving out those rocks and debris and clearing up this fixer-uper ASAP, and turns to Bahamut* Thanks again for finding this place for us. We appreciate it. 3nodding

Lexi: *turns to Bahamut* Yeah, thanks! This will work great once we clean it up a little!

Bahamut: You are quite welcome. I hope you enjoy it here. *leaves , flying off as soon as he's out of the ravine*

Lexi: *looking around, wondering where to start* It is a bit dim in here, especially at night. But I can fix that easily enough. *makes several pale blue fireballs appear in the air along the sides of the center chamber* I wonder if I can make those stay there permanently. I've never tried leaving a fireball in place for a while.

Yakir: *smiles* Now's a good chance to try it out. I bet you can do it. =3

Fixing up the Home (April 14th)

Lexi: *clearing debris out of one of the chambers of their home, waddling as she walks and having to rest frequently*

Yakir: *helping out Lexi in fixing up their home, humming a bit while he does so* ^^

Lexi: *pushes some junk outside, then flops on the floor* Ooof, I keep wondering when the kits'll be born. I hope it's soon, since I've gotten so fat I can't do much.

Yakir: I hope it's soon too. =D *can't wait to see them*

Lexi: Have you looked up names of constellations yet? We could probably start thinking of those.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah, I went to Sara's house and she got me a list. 3nodding *doesn't know Sara very well, but heard of her from his mother, and hands her the list*

Thanks. *looks through the list* Oh, Eridanus sounds pretty. So does Mensa, Perseus, and Tucana. Are there any you like best? *offers the list back to him*

Yakir: Lyra, Carina, Corvus, and the ones you mentioned are my favorites. biggrin

Lexi: Those are good names, too. I suppose we'll just have to wait to see the eggs to figure out which names fits them best. smile

Yakir: *nods* Yep. smile I wonder what they'll be like. ^^

Yeah. I wonder if any of them will have my hair. *tugs a lock of it* Or either of our powers.

Yakir: They might. ^^ It'd be neat if they had powers. They'd be weak, but it would still be neat. *wonders if they'll be able to climb trees as well as he can*

Lexi: You're probably right about them being weak. *thinks briefly about their powers and remembers his tree-climbing* Hey, if you can climb trees so well, can you climb walls, too?

Yakir: *kind of shakes his head* Not as well. It depends on how smooth it is. If it's really smooth I can't climb it. If it's rough I can. 3nodding

Lexi: Cool. Can you climb up these walls? *gestures to the walls of their cave*

Yakir: *goes over to them and puts a paw on the walls* Hmmm....nope. Too smooth. ^^;

Lexi: Aw, that's too bad, it'd be cool to see. Then again, it'd probably give the kids ideas if they saw you climbing them, and I doubt all of them would be as good at climbing as you and could hurt themselves trying.

Yakir: I think it's a good thing actually. Even if they were as good as me at climbing, they might get a bit too brave and think they can hang off the ceiling. I can't do that, even with trees. So it's probably best that they're not good climbing walls.

Lexi: *nod* That's true, too. And there's enough rooms here that we couldn't watch everywhere all the time to make sure that they weren't trying it.

Yakir: Another good point. ^^

Lexi: *stomach growls* ^_^; I get hungry so fast now, and it takes so long to walk anywhere to get food.

Yakir: I'll go get you something. ^^ Any requests?

Lexi: Umm...I really want ice cream all of a sudden. >_> I dunno if you can get that, though. Something cold or sweet?

Yakir: I could probably get that at Sara's house. Humans are the ones with ice cream, right?

Lexi: Yeah, they usually do. It'd be great if you could get some. biggrin

Yakir: Okay! I'll go and see if Sara has any. ^^ See you soon. *waves and heads out in search of ice cream*

Lexi: Bye Yakir! *waves goodbye, then sprawls on the floor tiredly*

Yakir: *makes his way to Sara's house, goes into the house*

*goes to help Yakir out with a handy portable container and a cloth napkin just in case*

Yakir: Thanks. =D *heads back toward the cave with the ice cream*

Lexi: *has fallen asleep*

Yakir: *walks back into the cave* I got you some ice cream. ^^

Lexi: *wakes up with a snort when she hears Yakir* Huh? Oh, thanks! *sits up and yawns*

Yakir: *hands the ice cream over* You're welcome. ^^

Lexi: *rapidly devours the ice cream, then sits back with bits of it still clinging to the fur around her mouth* Oooh, that was good. ^_^

Yakir: *smiles and hands her the napkin* There you go. You've got a little bit of ice cream around your mouth. 3nodding

Lexi: Oh, thanks. *wipes her mouth, then takes a drink of water from the stream running through the cave* This stream is so handy.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah. It's nice to be able to get a drink without have to go too far. =3 *used to going off aways to get to the river when he lived out in the woods*

Yeah, and if we need to wash anything we can do it immediately. It's like having running water like in a human house. ^_^ Though now that I think if it, we might want to go just outside the cave to wash anything, since that's downstream and we wouldn't want to mess up our drinking water.

Yakir: *nods* Yeah. We don't want to wash where we drink. xd *thinks* Oh yeah, humans have water in their houses too. Sinks, right?

Lexi: Yeah, and things like showers, bathtubs and toilets.

Yakir: Ah...neat. biggrin

Waiting for Babies (May 11)

Yakir: *playing some tunes on his flute happily*

Lexi: *sprawled on her side, listening to Yakir's music*

Yakir: *finishes up the song, and happily looks over at Lexi* How are you feeling? ^^

Lexi: Huge. And Slow. Moving takes too much effort. >_<

Yakir: *goes over and nuzzles Lexi before settling down beside her* Well, hopefully it's not too much longer. ^^

Lexi: Yeah. *nuzzles back* I was to get up and run. It feels like I haven't run in forever.

Yakir: *nods, understanding* Maybe soon you'll get to run. 3nodding *will watch the eggs after they're born to give her the chance to*

Lexi: Yeah, I hope so. Then I'll get to see our babies. *smiles at Yakir, then pokes her belly* Come on out, you!

Yakir: *smiles back* We've been waiting a while to see you. biggrin *at Lexi* I wonder what they'll be like. ^^

Lexi: I wonder if they'll like what we like, like music and movies we've seen...*blinks, realizing something* Hey, we can't watch movies in this house. There's no way to plug in a TV. Guess we'd have to go back to mew's for that.

Yakir: *nods* Yep, we will. 3nodding I think they'll like it.

Lexi: Oh, I hope so. It'd be weird if they liked entirely different things from us, because I wouldn't know how to talk to them about things.

Yakir: Well, even if our interests are different, there would more than likely be some common ground for us to stand on, simply from us being a family. ^^

Lexi: That's true. *rolls over as her stomach growls* Aah, I'm hungry again. >_<

Yakir: I'll go get you some food. Any requests?

Lexi: Hmm...no requests from me. *pokes belly* You guys want anything? *stares at her belly for a moment, then looks at Yakir* They probably want candy, but that's bad for you. Let's have fruit instead. razz

Yakir: Okay, fruit it is! ^^ *goes off in search of some fruit*

Lexi: OK, bye! *rolls on her back and stares up at the ceiling while she waits, then makes some dancing fireballs to amuse herself*

Yakir: *heading through the forest, happening on some berries and some apples, and gathers a good amount of this food up and starts heading back to the cave*

Lexi: *humming Disney songs to herself and making the fireballs dance to the music*

Yakir: *arrives at the cave, fruit in tow* I'm back. ^^

Lexi: *dancing fireballs disappear as she sits back up to look at Yakir* Thanks! Welcome back Yakir!

Yakir: You are welcome. ^^ *offers up the food happily*

Lexi: Thanks! *takes the fruit and starts nomming happily*

Yakir: *happy that Lexi is happy*

Lexi: *finishes eating and yawns* So sleepy now...*dozes off*

The Babies Are Here! (May 25th)

Lexi: *happily cuddling her eggs* ^_^

Yakir: *sitting next to Lexi, smiling at their new family* They're so cute. ^^

Meissa: *snuggles up to Mommy*

Lexi: Yes they are! And so pretty! *nuzzles each of her eggs*

Mensa: *wiggles at his mommy's touch*

Meissa: *happy*

Yakir: *nods in agreement* Yes they are. ^^ I wonder what they'll be like. I heard that some eggs are really active. *wonders if their eggs will be among the active ones*

Meissa: *at the moment, seems perfectly content to just sit there*

Lexi: *pats Meissa* They seem to be pretty quiet right now...But speaking of active, I want to run now that I can move again. Mind If I step outside for a minute?

Mensa: *wobbles a little, bumping Meissa slightly*

Yakir: I don't mind at all. I'll keep an eye on the kids. 3nodding

Meissa: ...? *wiggles*

Lexi: Great! I'll be right back. *brushes each of her eggs lightly with her tail as she stands up and walks out. Once outside, she breaks into a run, zooming between the nearby trees* Wheee!

Mensa: *wiggles a little more*

Meissa: *wonders where Mommy went*

Yakir: *waves and looks at the eggs happily, nuzzling them, hoping he'll do a good job at being a parent* You all have a lot of family to meet. biggrin

Meissa: ^^ *snuggles up to her Daddy*

Mensa: *also snuggles with daddy*

Lexi: *comes back in after a minute of running to see the eggs cuddling Yakir* Aw, they like you already!

Yakir: *smiles and pats the eggs* That's a good thing. It would be awful if they didn't like me. xd Did you have fun?

Meissa: *wiggles at Mommy's voice*

Lexi: Aw, it looks like she likes me, too. ^_^ Yup, that was very refreshing.

Mensa: *seems to have gone to sleep*

Yakir: That's good. ^^ *imagines being cooped up from being pregnant would make a nice run feel excellent*

Meissa: *wants to stay up at least a little bit longer before nodding off for a nap*

Lexi: Hmm...I wonder how much eggs can tell about their surroundings. Obvisouly they can hear and feel, at least a bit. *makes a little fireball appear in the air and dance around to see if any of the eggs will react*

Meissa: *feels a slight bit of heat dancing around her* ...? *wiggles*

Yakir: Looks like she can tell that they're there. biggrin *amazed*

Lexi: Wow, that's cool. Someone should try interviewing a recently hatched kit and see if they can remember what it's like in an egg.
