I'm going next year for sure!!! I was planning on going, but I couldn't raise enough money.

My siblings went with a school group to DC and it sounds like they had a total blast.
I decided next year will be the year I make the trek. So far I've only been to the NJ state house. But it kinda just hit me that for the first time in my life I now have complete and total freedom to go anywhere I want (it hasn't really hit me that I am officially "living on my own"). Unfortunately the epiphany arrived too late to make arrangements for this year. But next year I will most certainly be going.
I was on Yahoo all day (totally dead at work) looking for any coverage at all. It never made the front page but an article did show up after some snooping. It wasn't that unfavorable. But I'm slightly miffed that a rally involving tens of thousands of people marching in Washington is not newsworthy...

I wish I could've gone. Hopefully next year, but who knows? With any luck, I'll be living around there by then.

I forgot all about it. sweatdrop Even if I'd remembered, I have no money at the moment, and wouldn't have spent it on that, since it would have been cold and I'd have no place to stay.
Maybe next year?
