Character:: Dolly Cathers
Location:: Nyx Territory, Streets

Dolly bit her lip at Strake’s comment. It wasn’t her fault that she was so frustrated, she can hardly be counted as a calm person. She smiled though at Eve’s little comment. Most of the nights, Dolly would just be complaining to her about what a jerk her husband was. Out of all the people, Eve had to choose Strake. The reason as to why, Dolly had no clue.

She pulled her father’s cowboy hat further down over her eyes. It wasn’t that she felt embarrassed with Strake and Eve’s intimacy, Dolly just didn’t want to have to witness it. It was a pain to have to see other couple’s happiness. Not that she would admit it of course.

“Please spare me you lovebirds, I don’t want to have to vomit so early in the morning,” Dolly commented, grabbing her stomach and feigning an act of disgust. It was too early to feel depressed.

Her head shifted over to the approaching Nyx members. She pushed her hat back up, so it rested barely above her eye. Her eyebrow raised in question when she noticed that it was Clark and Akana walking back together. Seems like they two had gotten quite friendly with one another. Dolly scowled unnoticeably, why did it seem like everyone was getting together? She was the only singled out person without a partner here. But she lived life like this, she couldn’t say she minded being in solitude but it was just that seeing other couples often irked her.

Character:: Christopher "Crow" Scar
Location:: Organization headquarters, Underground Chamber

Crow tilted his head to look back at her, waiting for her to drop her suspicion and get into the elevator. Why is this girl so damn frustrating with her questions? Crow frowned; he usually didn’t get annoyed at people so easily. Human beings were idiotic creatures, he had already accepted that fact long time ago. Yet, Crow learned it was better not to point out their idiocy but merely laugh at them about it instead. It would get on their nerves a lot more. But with Felicity, it was strange and dangerous that he could lose his patience so easily.

“Are we playing twenty-one questions here Miss Garth?” Crow inquired with a 'pleasant' leer after suppressing the urge to blow out in rage. “You never heard about the story about a pretty little girl who asked too many questions?”

Character: Akana Massri
Location: Streets

Akana let out a sigh of exasperation as Clark quickened his pace. A brief moment passed as she considered letting him leave her behind, allowing her to walk at a more comfortable speed, but she simply shook her head and jogged a few steps until she was alongside Clark.

He had a decidedly stoic air about him, his expression stern and unforgiving. Akana smiled, a small, private smile that tucked itself into the corners of her mouth. I wonder if he notices how much time he spends pretending to be serious, she mused, managing to keep up with his lanky strides. It was difficult, and Akana wished she were taller.

Character:: Felicity "Felix" Garth
Location:: Organization Territory, Underground Chamber

She made a mental note to herself not to do anything until he actually answered her question. She was still annoyed and puzzled at the fact that he hadn't just left her in her previous squad and gone on his merry way. Was the answer to that question so much to ask? He was so secretive about things, not in the way he never said anything, but in the way that he hinted and teased at them but never told an outright truth.

"I wasn't sure that story applied to me, and all I want is a one sentence answer to my one single question. Answer me and I'll step in with you." And try not to stab you while I'm at it. His glance made the hairs on her neck stand up, but she still didn't lose that edge in her voice or her resolve.

Character:: Strake Scizzon(Alpha)
Location:: Nyx, Streets

The Alpha made no effort to respond to Dolly's comment, and instead turned around to face the direction Akana and Clark were coming from. "Did you two have fun?" The Alpha asked, the question was teasing, but his voice seemed almost mocking. The Alpha then looked around in Clark and Akana's direction quickly. "Where is the messenger?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

While The Alpha waited for a response, he was thinking of how to refer to the two partial-cities, or districts. Hmm, maybe we could name them by who our obstacle is, so Dolly's district would be Veteran District...or we could name it after one of us...how many districts are there to take before we meet the Organization territory? Let's see, 6 territories, possibly 7 if there is one hidden behind the forest, which I doubt. Well no need to worry of official names, but I'll refer to them by the greatest obstacle to taking it for now.

Character:: Christopher "Crow" Scar
Location:: Organization Territory, Underground Chamber

Crow frowned, eyes gazing off to one wall. He thought about her question again. Why would you need me for this anyway True. Why did he need her for this? Why in the world was he getting involved in this conversation with her? He wasn't even sure himself.

Initially the only reason he ordered her to follow him was out of pure spite. She was aggravated and annoyed by his actions- it showed. He enjoyed seeing her wrath, in fact, he enjoyed getting on everyone's nerves. Keep them at the bay, keep them distant.

Now, he had almost subconsciously wanted her to stay. That was the only reason he had told her to come along with him and left her here. Crow scowled when he realized the only reason he had her come was out of fear. Fear of her disappearing. Not that Felicity was special or particular out of everyone else. Yes, she was strong-minded and opinionated but it wasn't much of a major factor in Crow's thought process. He hadn't meant for it but somehow, in his subconscious mind, he wanted her to stay. Someone to stay at least.

His eyes rotated to look at her square in the face. He contemplated whether or not to give her a lie. "Because you are a good addition to my crew. I've seen your skills on the shooting range, you got good precise and accuracy," Crow replied with a grin. A lie it was.

She was suspicious of his pause, and for good reason too. His answer made her laugh. It was a hard, bitter laugh. "You've never seen me shoot, because I've never seen you before." She re-ran all of her stints at the range and saw none of this memorable, creepy man anywhere near there. She hadn't seen him at all until earlier today, and that was a pure fluke. Just because she hadn't walked fast enough, just because she stopped and looked. Her eyes narrowed. "You're slipping up." And she was regaining her hold. She could almost feel that she was gaining the upper hand in this relatively pointless sounding conversation. She still debated weather to come in after that lackluster, dishonest answer.

She came one step closer, just to tempt him. "Tell me, General, are you a possessive type?" She hadn't ever heard of something like this happening, Crow commanding a younger, inexperienced member of the organization to join his small battalion. Certainly not to a female anyway. He had made her uncomfortable, and now she was getting back at him. His own advice had come to bite him in the a**. Maybe she wanted to poke him and prod him until he lashed out at her, so she could strike back. And probably lose in the end, but maybe that would be worth it. She smiled suddenly and swiped a stray strand of hair from her face.

"Maybe that would explain this. Or are you just playing the stalling game?" There was challenge and defiance written all over her face. "I can play that game just as well as you can." She turned away from him and looked at the bleak metallic walls of the chamber.
