Seeing as how I check this forum like, once every three months it seems, I thought it might be nice to start a thread where everyone can come in and just let the rest of us know what's up with our lives outside of Gaia. You know, for "old times sake"
Me? I finally graduated from my university and now have a BFA. I'm working retail full time to pay the bills and feed my comic habit and I'm working on a new comic book that I hope to self-publish in the late spring or early summer.
Other than that, same ol same ol.

Nothing much has changed for me.
Still self employed and making a good living off the greed and stupidity of lazy people with way too much money on their hands.
Still milk Gaia for all the lols I can. Hang around in a few of the active guilds. Laugh at the threads in the GD and ED.
It's cheaper than cable TV and far more interactive.

Well Hubby and I decided to make our relationship official to everyone else and eloped June 2008. As of Feb '09 we've been together 5 years. We finally moved out of the city and now we live in a small ocean town that we enjoy very much. I'm in a union now, switched from Dental Receptionist in the city to Diagnostic Imaging Clerk (sounds snazzy, no? I love Radiology) at the local hospital here. Hubby is Apprenticing to be a plumber, and we're thinking of starting a family soon.
Also, we got a cat (I'd always wanted one). That's pretty much it.
I check in to Gaia every once in a while, toy with my items, acquire whichever new ones are shiney enough to draw my attention, toy with my items some more, and every few visits I make a post in one of my guilds.

I'm still poking my head in here once every blue moon.
Since none of the original folks seem interested in being involved here, it's kind of pointless.

Cool looking style, Anatole! Keep up the nice work.
Me? I'm looking to either sell or rent out my home and move to a new state to see if I'm in a major rut. Been living in the same family home now far too long, and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to make a mark of my own outside the shadows of my parents and relatives.
Granted I've not been doing too shabby where I am. But I'm at the end of any potential growth in my small business. So I sold it, too. Got a good price for it.
I'm thinking I'm going to rent for now unless I find a major land deal. I've been wanting to return to college and finish a Masters degree. But not here, and not with the commute I would have to make between the city and my house. The weather is also a significant factor, making reliable travel during the winter months somewhat questionable.
So there you have it. Up to date, baby.

..I don't know if I ever shared anything personal with you guys?
Since I stopped coming on here in 2005, I bought a house, started and am almost finished a BFA in curatorial studies from OCAD, and have been working lots in museums around here building up my resume.
When I'm not doing any of that, I work part time at a venue here, which translates into free admission to good shows... but also working some absolutely horrible ones loaded with 12 year old emo/screamo/all-around-shitty kids who don't know how to tip or buy anything but water.
That's pretty much it. Looking at masters options right now, but I'm kind of tied down with the house. I might sell it and do my MFA at NSCAD though... but that's still in the works.
It's cool to hear what everyone else is up to
