Lately I started watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I found myself looking at something I thought might not be too different from Noein. It has it's unique aspects, of course, and its nice to see an anime with quality animations. So far the story seems quite simplistic, with various complicated details, like most anime. But what astounds me, is the sheer creativity of the series as a whole. There are some twists and turns, of course, and sometimes they're spotted from miles away, but there are these little details, details you can't spot from miles away that make the experience mindblowing.

The series is so intricate, there are three paths to take, three different ways to watch the series. At the end of each episode, instead of a summary of the next episode, or some long drawn out hook line, there are three characters trying to persuade you which episode to watch next. Each character of course, branches off in a different direction. From what I've heard, the story makes sense each way, but each path shows a different character perspective, and each path covers all series episodes, I think.
