I think it's just you... I don't think it's Gaia, I use it both on my sis's macbook and on my hp, and they're both fine. Do you download lots, because that might be the reason why you got those malware... another thing I suggest, if you're not doing so already, is to use firefox, they keep out viruses a lot better and I like using it lots more.

I heard that firefox is more prone to viruses. neutral Either way, I only get the warnings that aVast found blah whenever I come onto Gaia. And from the looks of it, usually whenever I watch those movie previews.
I never download anything from the Internet without permission from someone that I know knows what he/she's talking about.

hm Gaia is fine for me. No FF is pretty safe. IE is the crappy one... if you dont like either try Safari or Opera. Or the new Google Chrome.

Isn't Safari related to Firefox? Or am I getting those confused because my high school used both? sweatdrop

[ ]I can't recall my computers ever getting a virus from Gaia. I have gotten malware from MySpace back when something was going around though. And yeah, Firefox is way better and safer than Internet Explorer.

So I hear. sad Anyway, it was malware that kept me away this time; that and school. I think I got it all deleted, but I had to delete a strange .dll file. A box titled "RUNDLL" appears every time I turn on my computer now saying that it can't run the thing I deleted, and I'm wondering if there's any way to get rid of it.
I'm thinking of doing a system restore. sweatdrop

blargh... my IE is messed up. If I try opening one window, it opens a gazillion of the same window... and it's really hard to close it once I open it because the new windows keep on popping up.
