A few delicate notes sounded throughout the area. This was Eleri's favourite spot for practicing-- her music echoed delicately, perfectly. A soft and gentle melody floating from the strings of the harp as she plucked at them. The harp was definitely at the top of her instrument list-- nearly every note that came from it was perfect and beautiful. She smiled, finishing the tune and looking about. The sun had only set a few moments ago, but she was certain that some of her Clanmates had taken their sun-rest in this area, and at the moment she was inclined to enjoy their company.

Nightwing roared to life his eyes blazing white for a moment before her yawned and stretched his wings. He smiled at the dusky sky, enjoying how it darkened as the night settled further in. He leapt and caught a current of wind letting it carry him down and along near the cliffs of the clans home. He gave a graceful twirl in the air before slowly gliding down to earth his ears having caught a few notes of music. He wondered if it was a human playing the enchanting sounds and headed towards the notes to see for himself.
His dark body blended in with the night, only piercing blue eyes gave him away. He was startled to see that it was not a human, but a gargoyle beside the large harp. Nightwing moved closer and gave a bow towards her in a mimicry of the human greeting he had learned.
"Good Evening Sister..." He still felt somewhat shy among his own kind, but time spent with his friend Maura had helped, at least now he could manage a greeting without bumbling over the words.

The woman smiled, nodding in greeting as well, "Good Evening, Brother Nightwing." she knew the names of all her Clanmates, though it was beginning to get more difficult to keep track of them all with the numbers steadily climbing,
"You are looking well."
She let her hands fall to her sides, leaving the harp be. Some did not appreciate music, and she often felt shy to share it with others.

Waking with the night in generally the same way as all of their kind, Altrea had instantly caught wind of another waking near her. That was followed gently by the sounds of a harp and though it confused her, she knew that more than a few of her brothers and sisters enjoyed the peace that was awarded when playing an instrument. Instantly feeling the want to bask in that someone else's peaceful glow, she took wing and flew in that direction.
It wasn't long before she came upon another woman and a dark male talking beside the instrument she'd heard. With a flourish, she settled next to them and wrapped her wings about her shoulders. She'd never spoken to either of these clan mates, but she thought she recognised Eleri.
"Good eve Sister Eleri and Brother...?" Trailing off in question wasn't very polite, but she had no idea of his name and wasn't going to just ignore him. "Beautiful night to enjoy oneself with music and love, wouldn't you say?"

Nightwing watcher as another female landed by him and wondered how he was going to manage to keep up a conversation with such a crowd. He pushed away his more inappropriate thoughts and focused on how casual he was with Maura. With that idea in mind he tipped his head towards the new female and offered both a small smile.
"I hope the night finds you both well...I've never heard such lovely harp playing sister, not even among the most skilled of humans."
He looked at Altrea and relaxed glad that he wasn't the only one lacking the knowledge of the names of others. "Nightwing" He answered her trailing question.

"Greetings, Sister Altrea," Eleri dipped her head towards the newcomer as well. A small frown creased her brow, "That, my dear Brother, is because humans are too busy killing one another to focus on things so beautiful as the harp."
It certainly didn't have anything to do with her being a Gargoyle. She'd spent many a night training her fingers so that they did not snap the strings of the harp each time she began to play-- it was quite the delicate instrument, after all.

"Nightwing," she repeated back at the male. "That does seem a very fitting name for such handsome coloring." Smiling openly at him, Altrea then turned her attention back to Eleri and shrugged slightly. "I say let them stay busy with their business of death." Truthfully, she didn't care either way so long as they left her and their clan alone.
"As long as they keep their attentions towards each other, that's one less human we have to deal with. Less prejudice to put up with."

Nightwing felt heat rise against his cheekbones at Altrea's compliment he was used to being the flatterer not the other way around. Still he nodded to her "Altrea, and Eleri are you two lovely ladies enjoying the evening? Weather is warming up a bit, makes things nice."
He gave a slight frown at their talk of the humans and shook his head "They aren't all bad, some have been very accepting."

Eleri shrugged, "I personally think they're barbaric. But, so long as they leave me alone, I'm not inclined to bother them."
She plucked a few strings on the harp, calming herself a bit. Really, the humans were disgusting. She couldn't imagine being one-- killing one another, lying, being unfaithful to one's mate. She was fairly certain their only redeeming quality was their creation of music.
