These reed diffusers are all the rage right now. Personally, I like them. What I don't like is the problem of what do you do when you're done with them?
Here's a simple solution, make your own scented oil!
What you want to do is pour unscented mineral oil into a bottle and add 1 tsp of essential oils. It's that simple.
You can reuse the old reed sticks or cut thin dowel rods to size.

I'd love to make my own reed diffuser! I'll be living in a dorm in the fall for college, and candles aren't allowed, even incense. I never thought of using a reed diffuser instead. Must remember to check with my roommates, though, as I'll be sharing a bedroom with another girl.
