Ok... lol enough with the jokes from me. IDK I felt like posting... now what to post about....hmmmmmmmmmm...
Lately alot of books have been coming out in series and becoming hits on the big screen. Any faves?

Hey K-9! I am not a meanie even if I'm the reaper of the guild smile . It's actually a welcome sight to see someone in the sub-forums as everyone forgets to come up here!
As for your question about books to movies, I don't think there are too many good ones out there. I love books so usually I am satisfied just reading but once in awhile it is nice to see something be transferred to the screen if it's done properly, like Howl's Moving Castle or Harry Potter. Those came out the way the book described them. I am curious to see what is done with Cirque Du Freak but that seems to be stalling in the actual making of it and I was really unhappy with what was done with the Southern Vampire series as it has very distinct characters and the actors just don't match up.
Anything you think is good?

Harry Potter was not accurate. They cut many things, and added many back in.
For one, the potions puzzle protecting the Sorcerer's Stone. Not to be instigative, but they weren't accurate.

I did not use the word "accurate"...basically what I said is the movie was done right in that it had the same feel as the book which made it enjoyable. As for knowing every word in a potion from the book or whatever, I guess I am not that much of a fan to care if the wording was exact, so it just didn't ruin my viewing of the movies.
