((I was under the impression that if ZUN wanted it pronounced "Seerno", he would have spelled it "シルノ" instead of "チルノ", so in RPs I've pretty much been telling people how it's pronounced in Japanese right when she enters.))
The fact that her name is romanized in her PMiSS picture while some other names are not makes me think the name Cirno must have some sort of correct pronounciation, but that "Chiruno" certainly isn't the right one; if it was, ZUN would have just romanized her name as
Chiruno instead of doing it as
Cirno. Some names and last names are of known origin ("Flandre" is a French proper noun so it's pronounced like in French, "Meiling" is of Chinese origin and if I'm right, it should be written
Mei Ling, and so on), but "Cirno" surely isn't among them.
