The dark is cold, When it kills, the bodies are already frigid. The dark is unforgiving, It allows none to escape it's grasp. The dark swallows whole, Corpse are never found among the twisted trees. The dark blankets the village, It demands tributes to be paid in it's name. The dark live forever, Until the day forces it back into the caves Day bring hope to the people, Day brings life.
This is something I wrote this weekend when I was feeling kind of down. I realized even night passes into a bright new day and cheered up a bit. Personally, I don't think it's that good but I want your opinions.

I personally thought the peom was expressive and kinda showed the inevitability of nightfall. But it also shows that it must get worse before it got better. I really like the philosophical side of it => that is, that you could go through hell but the sun will still rise to greet you crying Good work 3nodding
