Saber Pendragon Lady-Sanctuary I decided that for the month of June I was not allowed reread anything, so I have had to find completely new books! One of the best was either Snow Flower and The Secret Fan or Bridge of Birds, both lovely stories set in China. I liked Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. I read it after one of the ladies I used to work with recommended the author. I like her other book as well though I can't remember the title of it right now. Peony In Love? That's the only title I remember. smile

Lady-Sanctuary I just read his comic book Endless Nights this evening actually, really good smile I haven't read that one. I have read The Sandman: The Dream Hunters. I loved the story and the art. Those aren't really novels though. ^^; I want to get Coraline and then I think I'll have all his novels and will just have to get some of his children's books.

As regards The Graveyard Book, the last I read there wasn't to be a sequel, per se, but rather a companion book focused on Silas. I've not heard anything about an American Gods sequel, though there was a follow-up story in the anthology Fragile Things entitled "The Monarch of the Glen." Also, there is to be a full-cast audio book version of American Gods and Playtone is in talks to produce an HBO series.

That sounds a bit better if it's a companion book and not a sequel. I thought it ended in a way that a sequel wasn't necessary.

I'm just getting started on the Sherlock Holmes stories with Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Novels and Stories, Vol. I. I haven't read any Doyle stories for a decade or more so I'm quite excited! mrgreen

I cannot finish a book to save my life lately. I still haven't finished any of the other books that I had been reading but I just started a new one. It's called Geisha, a Life by Mineko Iwasaki with Rande Brown. So far it's really interesting, hopefully I manage to finish this one.
