 Nariko gently held her small sword up from the ground as she padded through the forest. Today was cleaning day, which meant she had to go to the near by stream and wash off all the grit and grim that had collected on her sword for the past couple of days. She usually did it every other day, but she had been busy for the past while and couldn't find the energy to heft her sword, no matter how small it was, all the way to the creak. By the time she got there, Nariko was panting as she gently placed her sword in the shallow waters. Then, using a clump of dense moss, Nariko began to wipe down her sword, scouring it until it began to shine.

Diligence walked along the path in the middle of the woods. He looked about nervously, feeling kinda scared in this part of the woods. He wished he had someone to travel with but he was determined to do it him self. He drudged along, glad that his dial on his back wasn't as heavy to him now. He nibbled on some berries as he walked along the path. He heard some water nearby and walked through the bushes, needing some water. As he poked his head through he heard someone nearby at the water and froze looking around. He saw a silver white female with a sword cleaning it near the water. She had long hair and some kind of garment around her legs. He froze and slinked back into the bushes and wondered if he should keep going forward and have some water or go back and leave her alone.

Nariko continued to clean her sword, even after she smelled the milk-tinged scent of another pup in the area. She could tell it was off to the side a ways, and felt some one's eyes on her back. Without lifting her head, Nariko called out, "Do not be afraid who ever you are... I will not hurt you... If you need the creek, feel free to come forward..." Nariko smiled and began to scratch off some of the harder to remove dirt stains. She would be glad to have the company of some pups other than her bothers. She frowned slightly at the though of her more egotistical brother, Kiske, but drew the thoughts of him out of her mind for they were ruining her special time with her sword.

Diligence thought about what she said. Well he was really thirsty...but he was scared a little. But he needed to work on getting over that. He was going to deal with it and go get some water. He walked out of the bush and headed over to the water, giving her a decent amount of room between them so he wasn't too close, he didn't want to up set her. "thank you." he said softly as he walked up and took a long drink from the water. He glanced at her sword, it was pretty and shiny like his Dial and he wondered where she had gotten it.

Nariko smiled and wagged her tail happily, glad that the little pup decided to get over his fear and take a drink. Though she usually did not like to waste her time being with other, Nariko did enjoy company on her washing days. Continuing to give her sword complete attention, the female pup didn't even look up at the other came over to the water. If he wanted to talk to her, he would get to it in his own sweet time. For now, Nariko simply wanted her sword to be spotless. She frowned inwardly as she thought of her unruly brother, Kiske, who always seemed to be swinging his sword about without a single thought otherwise about proper care and safety. She sighed and shook her head, while making sure the hilt of her sword had no blemishes.
