Aymu made her way back to the beach so she could fully concentrate on her own scroll, which she was delaying from the entrance of the new apprentince. She smiled lightly at him before taking off at full speed. When she got to the shore and opened her scroll, Ayumu was surprised by the task she is given, and took a deep breath. "If I focus on the water from the ground, specifically a natural well of sorts, I could pull it closer to me into a bubble."Ayumu felt with her element for a well that was closer to the surface and drew upon it for water. "Now to figure out how to pull up dirt from the leaves without taking their water..." Ayumu kept on trying but the dirt was refusing to leave the trees. Ayumu nearly burst into tears from frustration, "It'd be easier to just brush off the leaves themselves!"

Raven split her concentration into two. She knew that it would be easy to use the water to her advantage. She concentrated upon the water that was directly in contact with her eyes, focusing her vision through it. Raven would shift the water to "bend" creating the right angle to replicate lenses. Through it, the clarity of the water became much more clear instead of being fuzzy. With this, Raven was able to see just how far her thin vortex was reaching.
In the back of her mind, she wondered how easy it would be to create a filter in order for her and Noah to breathe with. The woman would soon be out of air, and it would set her back from accomplishing her mission if she did not soon find a way.

[sorry for late reply sweatdrop ]
While Noah stared into the water who noticed another apprentice who smiled at him so he gave her a small wave along with a smile."hello."He then turned his attention back to the water,"huh..maybe we could push aside the water then move towards the ocean floor to clean the reef..you know moses style."He smiled at Raven even though he was slightly joking about it but it could work if they concentrated enough to do so,he began looking at the vortex Raven created to try and reach the reef."hhm."

Slailie looked around at the others after receiving her scroll, pausing for a moment to watch three others wander off, she shrugged and opened her scroll right there, not really thinking anyone else would bother to peak at it.
After taking sometime to look it over, and re-look it over, Slailie frowned. She was almost expecting to do something more.. difficult in a sense. Glancing around; most of the other apprentices had already gone off to do what their scrolls had told them to do. It looked like Raven had to do something with the reef, and she had another apprentice helping her, and since Ayumu went off the to the shore by herself, Slailie slowly headed towards the shore as well. Since she was suppose to help the other apprentices, she figured that would be a good place to start.
She took the time she had to think about what the other half of her scroll assigned her to do. What type of animal did she relate to?
"That's such a broad subject..I don't even know where to start.. ugh.."

"I think if we can find a way to...create air, underneath the water--and sustain it there, we can get deeper into the water." Raven had popped back up onto the surface, treading water within the whirlpool. The exercise felt great to her arms and legs, and challenged her to endure the rushing, swirling waters around them. "Any ideas?"

"huh produce oxygen huh?...well I got one idea but i don't know if I can stop the lung crushing pressure of the water haha."He shook his head slightly as he stood in the water then rubbed his chin as he looked through it.
"We could just create a air pocket around ours heads, mostly the nose/mouth area which takes in water then quickly removes the oxygen from the water molecules which takes care of the whole breathing thing but still...unless one person goes down doing that while the other creates a sphere around the person so they can move down to the floor of the ocean."He nodded as he spoke then turned to Raven,"although it all sounds pretty complicated and I'm guessing they want something simple."he smiled faintly as he thought about it and more ideas flowed into his mind,"could make a clone though to go down there..yea."

"We talked about that earlier. About separating molecules. We can't really do it...Gabby was hinting at creating...a tube of air underground, somehow...like a straw of air..." Raven pursed her lips; now the vortex pulled her under again, and she had been prepared with breathing before slipping back under the water. Twirling and twirling, Raven drew upon the vortex, pulling it down from it's point. It was a lot harder to do, as it seemed to have a fixated mind of it's own. She wondered if she could pull pockets of air from it and try Oxygen bubbles to begin with.

[I know this is completely random, and I'm wayyyyy out of my territory... but shouldn't water elementals be able to just breathe under water? I mean, to be an elemental is to be part of that element, right? Shouldn't you just naturally filter it like a fish would with their gills? ... >_> Maybe that's a more advanced power than you guys have... Nevermind. >_<]
