Say if there is a Pure Land follower and they recited Amitabha's name, how can they also recite other mantras like Jizo (Ksitigarbha) and Kannon's (Avalokiteshvara)? Can they? And how? If they are chanting Amitabha, how do they find time for chanting other mantras?

Note: I realised when I posted this and looked at the topic at the previous one, it did not make sense, so I corrected the Topic title.

well I am still just starting but I think that while physically chanting one you could mentaly chant the other, which would cause you to think of more than one at a time and such and it would be the equivilent of doing them both. Well maybe, but I am not sure.

I'm just starting to read up on Pure Land Buddhism, but from what I grasp of it so far, chanting other mantras isn't unacceptable. The chanting of Amitabha's name eventually becomes self-motivating, and so the chanting of other mantras on the side would probably be alright - but don't quote me on that since I know almost nothing about Pure Land.

Ah ok...So it is alright to chant Amitabha and other mantras (namu kannon bosatsu, etc)..well i guess that depends on the person.

The point is your NOT supposed to do more than one. Part of chanting is helping to control your mind and its thought processes, so if you're trying to chant more than one mantra, chanting one mentally and the other audibly, it defeats the purpose because it splits your attention.
