Alister
Name meaning;; Man's Protector Gender;; Male Sin/Virtue;; Envy/Hope Gift/Curse;; Strength/Intelligence
Mate;; There isn't any. Children;; None.
Personality;; Not fully grown despite his physical appearance, Alister is a child at heart and a prankster. He enjoys flinging pebbles and eggs at his fellow brothers and sisters, and unsuspecting humans that stray out at night. He loves playing with the children, and it's very common to find Alister entertaining them with a game or story instead of off being a warrior like the others. He knows how to fight from a distance, and he's strong, but he's not the smartest egg in the rookery, so tactics and strategies are lost on him. Besides, he prefers guarding the children in the face of battle. He looks on families in envy and guarded jealousy, but while he'll gladly flirt with anyone, regardless of gender, he won't give his heart away so easily. He wants to have a family, but he's terrified of things that could go wrong, keeping him from taking the steps towards actually having a family of his own.
History;; Alister was always a happy-go-lucky Gargoyle. Since his hatching, he'd been playing pranks of all sorts on any gargoyle who managed to get into his way. Parents, rookery siblings, and even other adults. All were targeted by the ever-grinning Alister, with gleaming blue eyes and a constant mirth about him. Because of these pranks, Alister didn't make friends easily, but that was okay for him. He had his parents, who loved and adored him despite his tricky nature.
It was his father who gave him his slingshot as a child, making him swear to use it to the best of his ability, and to always practice. "There is no such thing as perfection, Alister," he had said. "Only the ego that comes with thinking you are perfect." Alister strove to attain greatness, but he was humbled by that phrase. There was no perfection to strive to, only the best that he could give, and that made things less stressful for him.
Soon after he attained his slingshot, the prankster was beaten up by a gang of older Gargoyle children for pelting them with eggs. Bruised and hurt, Alister ran away from the clan. Not permanently, mind you, but only long enough to turn to stone. Only long enough to heal his bruises and pride, so when he returned home the next eve, his mother could scold him for staying out too late and not know the truth, that he'd hidden because he'd gotten beat up for being who he was.
It had a negative effect on him, although now it's hard to see. He didn't try making friends from that day on. If people befriended him on their own, they were still targeted for his pranks. It was a safety mechanism, because only the truest friends would appreciate his pranks as gestures of love. His parents tried urging him to socialize more, but he preferred watching from a distance instead of throwing himself into the fray. While his peers were training to become great warriors, he hid out and honed his accuracy, or busied himself helping nursemaids and the rookery attendants.
When Alister was a teenager, his parents left the clan. It was a routine check for food, they often left for a few days to hunt and returned with meat. This time, they didn't return. After a few days, Alister went looking for them. He was gone for months, but he never found them. He returned to the clan as a teenager, happy and carefree, but there was a darkness to him. He looked to families within the clan with envy, knowing that they had love that he no longer possessed. He blamed no one gargoyle for isolating him, he'd isolated himself as a youth.
Tending to the rookery became a nightly task for Alister. Every night, he flies to the rookery, checks every egg for cracks and dinks, and then goes to practice his pranks, or flies off for a night of solitude. He has no need for friends, or a mate, no matter how much he wants them. He has the rookery and his pranks. That's all he needs in life. And if ocassionally, he wakes up as the sun sets in a daymare, dead with no one to mourn him, well...
That just means that particular night is a night of thinking, not of pranking.

Alister's RP History
1. "Whoever gave him that slingshot should be punished." (Alister/Alestair) Alister nearly gets his a** handed to him for yet another prank, but instead manages to have a psuedo-conversation with an older warrior. His triumph? Making the guy laugh. Even if it was laughing at him. And he still doesn't know the gargoyle's name. Whoops!
2. Reserved for the Alister/Dwenna RP.
3. "Great. Im lost. Fan-fricking-tastic." (Alister/Duncan) Alister meets up with his friend Duncan and Bonney after being chased around by some big gargoyle, and finds an egg hidden in the brush. Before taking the egg to the rookery, he and Duncan have a snack together, try playing truth or dare, and Alister discovers an interesting fact about his friend.

Caoimhe
Name meaning;; Beautiful Pronunciation;; Kee-va Gender;; Female Sin/Virtue;; Lust/Charity Gift/Curse;; Dexterity/Strength
Mate;; N/A Children;; N/A
Personality;; Caiomhe is an affectionate but suspicious child. She'll cling to those she knows for no reason beyond wanting physical affection. Strangers are met with skepticism and uneasiness, even within the clan. She's a Daddy's girl one hundred percent, even going as far as to pick up his sling shot to try and shoot people down. She's not as good as Alister, but gosh darn it, she wants to try. She's too young to understand the quarrel with humans, and still very impressionable, so Alister is trying to keep her from influences that're anti-human. It's better for her to decide whether she likes humans or not on her own. Other quarrels with humans do not have to be her own. She thinks it's perfectly normal to only have her Da and her clan, and no Ma. There are enough women in the clan to fulfill that need for maternal love anyway.
History;; Coming soon, she's still a kid! D:
