Still watching Kaiel warily 'Ven had just opened his mouth to clarify his exact thoughts on the matter to the lycan when Gail swung through infirmary door, riseing out of his seat Mkvenner nodded to the nurse as he quickly tucked the Makarov back inside his coat. "Not a moment too soon, let's get this over with" he thought as he firmly gripped the proffered hand with a welcoming grin "Pleasure to meet you... Name's Mkvenner". Stepping back to the wall to give her room to work he resumed his relaxed position leaning against the wall as he watched the nurse begin checking out the wolf, keeping a carefull eye on his every move. "I think you've got your work cut out with this one" he observed dryly as he tapped his temple meaningfully "It seems he's not altogether quite right up top... If you know what I mean". Shrugging he grinned again "I guess it's nothing a little silver nitrate won't cure".

Kaiel lifted his head up from the chair's hard wooded back and wondered if this was the Gail. It seemed to have been another woman but not the one who brought him here. He was startled when suddenly a slim hand enveloped his own and gave a shake. The hand withdrew and started to poke at him.
He spoke, "Ah, yes. I will explain. About three months ago, I woke up in the hospital and had no knowledge of the world around me or of myself. I understood any language offered to me and remembered how to communicate and read. I remember pain, fear, happiness, and any other emotion. I remembered how to eat. I remembered how to walk and run. I did not know about any of the technology. I do not know who I am. I do not know what happened to make me forget. I don't even know where I was found."
He sat up straight now, his eyes still in the dark. He was becoming more comfortable in being unable to see. "I saw on a television show that silver nitrate is dangerous. I may not have any memory but I am not crazy."

NPCing Gail:
The head medic shot Mckvenner a look that told him his humour in regards to killing was not welcomed in an infirmary. "Perhaps out on the field that would be a suitable solution but here we try to be a little more creative with solving our issues. This, after all, is a medical bay, not a prison."
Gail chuckled as the two conversed amongst themselves, particularly at the fact they were near bickering. As for Kaiel speaking of silver nitrate yet not understanding the effect it would have upon him, she decided to remain silent. If he had no clue he was a lycan then she figured she'd might as well not alarm the unfortunate soul with an overload of information that he apparently wasn't quite willing to believe.
Instead she decided to go with nuture over nature and simply take care of the smaller nicks and wounds that he'd happened to acquire. First, though, she undid his blindfold, making a tisking noise as she did so. "I apologize for Meredith's lack of tact. Here, you don't have to keep that on while you're here. She's just being cautious and keeping the hunters safe, it's nothing she has against you. In fact, she wouldn't have brought you here if she did. Must have a soft spot for you or something, she doesn't usually bring strangers in here."
Gail smiled warmly as she continued tending Kaiel and listening to what he had to say. Unfortunately memory loss wasn't something she could cure with a prescription or a diagnosis either really. "As for your memories, about the only thing I can do for you is take some scans and tell you if it's damage to your brain or if it's mental trauma or perhaps someone's abilities preventing you from remembering."

((NPCing Gail for the sake of speeding this bit up))
The doctor turned away from the lycan boy who seemed no older than 19-20 years old, after tending to the small wounds he'd garnered somehow. She muttered to Mckvenner, "Of course we'll need to inform the current lycan leader that we have one of his here without a single memory."
Kaiel blinked and felt relief at being able to see finally. He didn't even wince as the doctor fixed up the cuts he'd gotten from running from that...monster/ lycan thing, who had seemed intent on killing Kaiel. He watched as Gail turned away and even though she seemed to think that she'd whispered low enough for him to be unable to hear, he'd been able to.
That was when the sharp pains began. His head pounded fiercely enough for him to grab it with both hands. Quick flashes of images zipped across his frontal lobe, so quickly that he couldn't even make out what he was seeing. Low murmurers accompanied these images but he couldn't understand. As the pain increased though, the images began to stay longer, become more focused, slowed down. The voices became comprehensive though it had not been spoken in English.
A pale, effeminate male leaned against the wall of inside a building, the hospital room Kaiel had been a resident in. He knew his time was coming to an end and karma was waiting to bite him in the a**. He had to get their story out, about everything and what better way then the man in front of him that couldn't remember anything. The book keeper of the pack, his right hand man since becoming leader of the New York pack. He began at the beginning, explaining about Soulvar, the pup and himself. He told the man of the terrible deeds Soulvar had committed in Japan. Once he was finished it looked as if the weight of the world had been lifted off his shoulders.
The date switches, instead of day time it is night time. The male was now underneath a tree as if waiting for someone. He closed his eyes briefly has Kaiels scent wafted over to him. Relief was evident on his face, it was obvious the man had been worried about Kaiel not showing up for whatever reason. He opened his eyes back up and began speaking, "Listen ______, I don't have much time. This place is changing and once I'm gone, I will need a replacement to lead the pack. Our numbers have dwindled down to a mere few to what we had before. These constant wars have taken their tolls on every race but the humans.
______, I need you. I need you to lead our pack once I'm gone. This body is barely holding up as it is. This mind has been pressed. I will die tonight, I have seen my death coming since I last saw you, _____." The man paused for a moment before starting back up again, "______ please take care of our pack, the Lycans needs you to lead them."
Kaiel spoke for the first time, " _____, you know I cannot refuse your quest. Of course, I will. " The slip of a boy began to wobble, then passed out cold hitting ground before the man could react. The youngster compared to the pale man, should not have been out, still not recovered from his accident, not to mention he had to sneak out as the humans would not let him wander around freely.
The pale man, lycan leader scooped the boy off the ground, lifting him as if he was a feather,"I know. You're love for the pack, your cool, logical mind is what will let the pack grow in leaps and bounds." The man began working on making the boy the full lycan he needed to be. All of the mans memories spillin' into the boy though some of it had gapes inside, the ones with certain names or people had been blanked out by Kaiel's own mind.
Kaiel drew in a ragged breath as the pounding pain in his head eased up. He whispered, "I need to get out of here."

Still leaning against the infirmary wall Mkvenner caught the head nurse's glare, levely holding it for a moment before he let the grin slip and folded his arms with a soft sigh of 'hrmm' as he turned his eyes back to Kaiel. "Of course, it's just an option" he conceded "But I guess his pack leader's gonna want him back home in one peice". Tiredly he stole a quick glance at the ceiling as he rested the back of his head against the wall for a second or so as he wished he'd had that second cup of coffee, it wasn't that he minded having the assignment, but the thought of having to babysit an amnesiac, possibly unstable lycan, made his skin creep.
With another sigh he stepped away from the wall as Gail began to unravel Kaiel's blindfold and knelt down beside her, careful to keep well out of her way as she worked patching up the wolf's superficial damage and keeping one ear open to their conversation. When there was a quiet moment he spoke up "So just what do you think Meredith's interest is in him..." he began before the lycan began to cradle his head in his hands. Unsure of if it was just a seizure or the onset of a full scale transformation Mkvenner moved, putting a hand on Gail's shoulder he gently pulled at it to get her to her feet before leading her back out of the wolf's reach and positioning himself between her and Kaiel. Reaching behind himself he put a hand on her chest and muttered "Stay back" as he reached inside his coat and gripped the butt of his revolver.
As Kaiel released his head breathing heavily Mkvenner relaxed slightly, taking a cautious step forward as the lycan spoke before stopping just out of his reach and squatting down to stare him in the eyes, his left hand still tucked discreetly inside his coat. "I'm sorry, but that is absoloutely not happening"
