Several pushed for Manu to be kicked out of The Legacy, most notably, Randy Orton. The feeling is that he isn't in the same league or had the same amount of potential as others in the group, and didn't really fit in as a result. Many believe the group would be better off with Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and possibly DH Smith.
Considering that he's no longer apart of Legacy, many feel Manu may not be long for WWE.

I thought Manu was pretty cool. Maybe not in the position he was in, definately given too much mike time. Otherwise, his in ring work was impressive.

I think the problem is people don't appreciate The Wild Samoans like they appreciate guys like Dusty Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, Danny Boy Smith, and Bob Orton.
Honestly though, I don't see them releasing Manu anytime soon.

Umaga & Manu would be a cool tag team. As some pointed, his ring work is a step over amazement. Someone from his weight doing a Moonsault, we don't see that often. And teaming with Umaga, who's got some skills too, the tandem would be a must-seen.
And I disagree with The Wild Samoans being less appreciated than the other guys. It's just that their impact in the division is overlooked. The Samoans in general are a legacy to respect in wrestling.

It's just that their impact in the division is overlooked. The Samoans in general are a legacy to respect in wrestling. But you can't argue that if you ask even non wrestling fans they all know the Million Dollar Man, The British Bulldog, and Dusty Rhodes and probally don't even know who Afa and Sika are. But by that same token, I know alot people who didn't who Bob Orton was until Randy came on the scene. I also feel that the fact that Manu doesn't have the same "look" as the other guys in Legacy may have something to do with it. He's too talented to be someone's bland powerhouse. ANd if you think he has no future, remember this; he's Samoan. Wiki his family and look at how many of them either have wrestled or have been offered contracts.
