I thanks goddess for not being american girl because I think I was be hunted by Mac Carthy and his friends. My grand father was communist... From long as we can search we find some anti church in my ancestor at the french revolution period... mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen True. D: It kind of sucks that they thought that kind of thing was right though. :< Speaking of activists, maybe we'll look at PETA the same way in the future! surprised I thank I'm not american either. It's a good country, but just a little screwed at the moment. You're grandfather was a communist? Of which country? Anti-church? Like... athiest or..?

It's fine, really. It's just that I prefer posts to be in complete, literate sentences.

I do that often too. :3 No apologies needed. I apparently have word dislexea. I get crap mix'd up and can't put my thoughts to sentances all the time 8D "Dyslexics sell there souls to Santa." Them. "Satan sells his soul to dyslexics." Me. :B You wouldn't believe the amount of arguments I get in for it! XD What is your native language? o 3o Snowball: Bleh, it's nice when somebody posts literaly, but sometimes, you can't be so seriuse. :3

Misses Brinks Well to put it simply, my fathers current (and irritating) obssesion with family history found I could be traced to John Hathorne. For those that don't know, he was one of the Judges in the Salem witch trials. I find it rather ironic, no? Great great great great (etc. untill relivent) grandson to one of the people who he so killed. Well, I thought it was interesting. xD One of my friends can trace her ancestors back to three of the witches in the salem witch trials. Just think, they prolly met! Not under the best of circumstances, maybe, but... xD

Unfortunately, I don't think I can trace any of my family back to Salem, because 3 of my 4 grand parent's families moved here after that time. My other grandfather, maybe, but so far all we can find from him is that we're descended from Pocahontas. However, I can trace my Grandmother's family to Scotland (well, duh. She moved here during her lifetime) and to some pretty crazy belief systems, including pagan and wicca-ish ones (hedgewitchy kinda stuff.) and I think a few women were killed in the witch hunts in England-ish. (The English were never clear on the fact that there is a boundary between England and Scotland and that Scotland is it's own country.)
