"Yes...I suppose it is cool in here, and safe." Berry was still nervous but really longed to get a closer look at this new pony, was there any chance they could become frineds? "You seem really nice. Do you...do you want to...see...my treasure?" Berry was very afraid of what he was saying. In order to show her he would have to walk in front of her. But he really wanted a frined.

Berry's heart lite up with joy at the other ponnies want to see his treasure. Oh how often he had dreamed of the joy of sharing his treasures with another. Yet he was very frightened, now he would have to show his face. "Uhm Sun...Sunny, please to be afraid of me okay." Berry said in his timid voice. Then he stood up and slowly started to peak out of the shadows. The young pony had been growing lately and wasn't even aware that he was slowly becoming a man though still very much a child in appearence, and with it a slight air about him showing maturity. His legs shook as the sunlight started to reveal his features.

Berry's eyes started to water from the kindness of the other ponies words. He had never herd such sweet words before. He had never known of a mother or a father that loved him. His only real interaction at all had been watching other ponies from a distance, hidden out of site. He smiled and started walking towards the back of the cave gesturing for Sunny to follow. At the back of the cave there was a crack where light shown through. Sitting on the ground was a pile of items that Berry had collected, his treasure. There was an almost perfectly round stone. A tiny yet perfect maple leaf, it was about the size of the ponies head. A stick that looked as though it had been smoothed by water, and another stick that curled wildly. There was even a small albino plant growing in the group, lacking all pigment it was an obaque clear. In the back of all this, in an almost honorable position was a little demon plushie. Berry smiled at the site of his most beloved treasure. "These are my treasure. Aren't they neat!"

"Iii..It's got no pigment...I ahh found it next to a bush...It's kinda a freak..like me." Berry explained. Berry looked at his front hoves and make a circle in the dirt with one holf nervously, on occasion glacing up at his new freind.

Berry blushed. No one had every been so nice to him before. He started to cry. Then he realized he hadn't ever really talked to anyone else in his memory. If only he could remember where he came from. But this new pony was so sweet.
"You are so kind. I've never had a friend before...b...bu..but would you be my friend? We could go out and pick flowers together and play in puddles and do lots of fun things together. I promise I'll be fun, just wait, we will have so much fun together I promise." Berry was getting more excited than he had ever been.

Berry was so happy he could burst. "So uhm would you like to go pick some flowers?? Here I know a great place we can go!" Berry went running so fast towards the entrance of his little cave that he sliped on a rock and went scattering trying out the entrace as he tried to catch his balance. The struggle for balance finally ended as he floped down hard on to the gound. "OWE!" Berry shouted. Though he was more emabressed than hurt.
