Tape tests (I'm extremely happy that my director this year doesn't do them), lazy percussionists (they have to be called out of the drum room EVERY SINGLE DAY), and that one piece of music for each concert that no one in our band really likes, but it's easy enough to put together while working on harder stuff. There's also this book that we practice sight reading from that can get really boring.

Dumb people. Like my school's trumpets. They didn't know that G came after F and had to start singing their ABC's to remember.
