So, about Darkury. Did you love this change from the regular? Did it catch you completely off guard? As I recall, it was the first major deviation from established plot, so it might have. Your thoughts on this change.

I thought it was refreshing. It gave more to a character who, as the token brain, is rather under played in SM.

It was a chance for Mercury to FINALLY get some spotlight.
I thought it was awesome... plus, it opened up the path to Mercury/Nephrite.

I enjoyed how they twist things from Ami being totally opposite of her good, innocent personality we always see. How often you see sweet Ami being bad a** and rebellious? Adding Darkury to twist things up was fantastic and I enjoyed it. AND we wouldn't enjoy those NephyxAmi moments if they never introduce Darkury to the plot.

I like the fact they twisted the story plot around and added Darkury, but that reminds me, wasn't there an episode in the anime that Ami got brainwashed by some youma and started to attack the senshi's because she thought they were tormenting her by calling her names?

That seems right. Am I the only person who thought that Kunzite/Mercury was hotter than Nephrite/Mercury?
