UPDATE: Well, we have one subforum...so now its time to decide if we want another...thanks to a members generous donation, we now have enough for another. ^_^ You can check the members list, for the person who donated the second most amount in the guild razz . (Aside from me donating the most.)
So...now...
What subforum would you all want next? Check the latest replies for details of which types to pick from.

If youve noticed, the forum link name has had "General Discussion" appended to it. This is a part of the new subforum support. Sometime in the future, I intend to purchase subforums for this guilds forum. Question is when, and what subforums? We cant have too many really specific ones, thats for sure. And they cost 2500g from the guild account. Of course, I could just easily make it be all from my own earnings by donating all I get to the guild...
Well, so? What do you want to improve this guild?
Subforums!
But when do we want them? Need them? What types? Yeah...this time its the serious discussion that will eventually lead to decisions being made.

We could have different subforums for each member, for talk about the albums, for talk about the tour, etc...
Let me know when you want to purchase some subforums, and I'll pitch in. 3nodding

Well different subforums for each member would sure spread conversation thin. I mean, I believe having subforums for big general things wouldnt really do that...well maybe a bit, but not dramatically. I know Ill most likely put in a musicians subforum...since a lot of us are musicians and whatnot. Also, might...hm looking for any other general ideas...
Ill buy the musicians subforum first, most likely...or any other general subforum ideas if they sound like they'd create a lot of topics. 3nodding
Well first Ill ask whoevers reading this: would you like for there to be a musicians talk subforum to be bought at this time? Or as ive been thinking, should we get a subforum dedicated solely to Dream Theater discussion only? Or maybe a forum dedicated to discussing any band thats not Dream Theater or DT related. Seeing as the main forum will be general discussion...

I say the main forum be for DT discussion, and there be subforums for sideprojects and guest appearances (LTE, Ayreon, the rest), instrumental discussion, and... Other things.

Yeah, this sounds kind of like what Im looking at doing... Okay so subforums: ninja DT *AND* side projects discussion (I wanted to combine that together...) ninja All around music discussion (meaning any band other than DT & side projects) ninja General discussion (anything not having to do with music) and ninja Musicians forum (for musicians, songwriters, etc...) but I dont know, I think we'll keep the main forum as general discussion...and then if anyone wants to go into specific discussion, then they choose that subforum from there. So who likes?

For starters make one for DT related things and non DT related things, then later on you can divide them up into smaller sections for each band member or something.
