Bai frowned, seemed that wasn't a good topic either, but most people tend to be running from their past or chasing something from their past. He watched as she calmed herself, 'I'm an idiot, no one like talking about their past... good or bad, lost or found...' He stared at her face, trying to perceive what exactly it was that made her so angry, but she had quickly hidden her anger. "Ah sorry..." he turned his eyes to the ground and stared at the grass, "My parents were both void so..." he shrugged, "I figured it wasn't really important because no matter what it would be void and that wouldn't change and i doubt it would do any real good knowing unless it was for protection... I can protect myself pretty well as is," he said as he started fingering the barbed wire around his neck.

Anya looked over at Bai again with curiosity, "But... the void domain is one of the most interesting domains. It encompasses both light and dark, electricity, telekinesis, and all sort of psychic abilities. I mean... if you don't want to know, I guess that's up to you but... boy am I curious..." She stepped forward and put her hand on Bai's at his neck, fingering his barbed wire as well. It was so intriguing, like a warning to keep away, but its shine was so enticing. She felt like a bug being attracted to a flamboyant flower. Was this male good for her...? Or was he dangerous...?

Bai raised an eyebrow, "hmm ... I suppose the void domain is kind of interesting..." he glanced around, "but i really don't see what i could possibly use whatever power i have for..." He glanced down at her hand and his hand froze in place along the wire, it was rather strange, most people avoided touching the barbed wire for fear it would hurt them, but here she was fingering it like he did when he was thinking about things or when he was bored. Anya was unique to say the least in that aspect, she seemed fearless and he had never met anyone like her yet and it made him rather curious, "ah... you might wanna be careful."

Anya blinked slowly, staring intently at Bai's barbed wire as she spoke, "If you do not want to know your power... than just say so... but don't make some ridiculous excuse like 'I don't know what I would use it for'... when we are first born, we do not know what our claws are for. Does that keep us from learning how to us them to kill and feed ourselves? No... We are given power for a reason... I found my reason... someday you may find yours..." She smiled to herself as though remembering some sort of inside joke from the past, and gently ran a light finger over the sharp tip of one of the barbs. The cold metal slit the skin on her finger and a small drop of hot blood remained on the wire. Anya stared at her finger for a moment, not even wincing when the metal cut her, and continued, "Caution, is something I do not exercise... life is more fun this way..."

Bai frowned and furrowed his eyebrows, "Ah... but I wouldn't know anyway..." He sighed and glanced at his feet, "that is true but in some cases that reason is not a good one..." Tilting his head he glanced up at her face, "hmmmmm?" he raised an eyebrow then gazed at her hand and shuddered slightly before closing his eyes. "Clearly," he took a breath opened his eyes again, "though it might be better if you did occasionally even if it's more fun not to," he chuckled quietly before looking at her finger. "You might want to heal that so it doesn't get infected or at least put some sort of bandage on it..."

Anya smiled sweetly and quirked an eyebrow as Bai shuddered, leaning in a little closer, but almost insignificantly. "I thank you for your concern my dear, but it is misplaced," Anya sighed as a small droplet of blood ran down her finger, "for you see, I have not felt pain, not any REAL pain, since I became an elder..." And with that, Anya's hand grew extremely hot for just a moment, causing the dripping blood to fizzle away and the cut to close right before their eyes. As her hand cooled once more she placed it on Bai's cheek and looked into his eyes. "Maybe I should exercise more caution when it is necessary... but tell me Bai, is it necessary right now? If not... then my reckless habits are of no concern to our conversations."
