The blush of her new friend rather confounded the little fae-peacock-dragon for Niahm knew not what it could mean. Perhaps being inside was too warm for him? Adriel did seem to have a very warm coat of fur. It would be nice when adventuring, and was very soft to snuggle against. Comfortable.
Perhaps his redness was from being mistaken? That did not logic through however -his redness had started before that. Deciding she could not answer it now Niahm put the quandary to the back of her mind for the time being and curled next to her friend's softness to look at the book he chose.
"Alice?" Her soft voice asked, a small smile touching her face thinking about the 'mad' numa who sometimes visited from numa numa land who truly believed herself to be an aspect of Alice from an alternate reality along with her mate Piper and their 'pet' Cheshire. Unlike others in Niahm's large and diverse family who had past life memories Alice, Hand to the Red Queen was not actually who she believed she was but a cosplayer with delusions. It was still quite insightful. Niahm tilted her head, one paw reaching out to touch the page thoughtfully. "I don't know about magical rabbit holes... but there are lots of magical connections all over Gaia from what I've heard."
"But..." Her smile faltered in uncertainty. "Should we start with something magical?"

Adriel pondered her question for several minutes. It would be fun to find those "magical connections" that she spoke of, but Niahm did have a point. They were still so young, and knew little about magic. Perhaps they should adventure (for now) by finding older, wiser kyunru with vast knowledge of certain things.
Then he remembered his mother speaking of a female who knew much about the stars, and that she would love their (Adriel and Niahm's) interest in them (the stars). He blinked a moment, making sure that it was a good idea, and nodded to himself.
"Instead of adventuring out to more dangerous places," he began, "let's start asking older, wiser ones about things such as the elements, stars, swords, and so on." He cleared his throat, and considered what to say next. "We can start with the stars if you want."
