He nodded and he smiles softly. "If the picnic lasts too long, we can go out to dinner too, then." He chuckles warmly and he nods slowly. "I know what you mean. Especailly since maybe Ian and definately Prince would probably start tuckering out if we last too long into the night." He glances at the address, then pulls out another knapkin and scrawls his address on it. If there was one fault so far about Gaunt, is that he had crappy handwriting. "There. It's a trade. So we can write eachother whenever we want." He smiles warmly at her
Prince pouts and folds his arms over his chest. "But that's still no good! If Serenity is busy painting, then how can she be with us and Gaunt having fun? We're all supposed to have fun together~!"
Gaunt chuckles softly and shrugs. "Its okay, Prince. I can sit with Serenity while she paints and keep her company. It'll be fun that way."
Prince folds his arms tighter over his chest and blows out his cheeks. "Mmn. It still sounds boring."

Serenity tucked Gaunt's address into her purse, and as the Prince had his little outburst she couldn't help but laugh.
"Don't you worry," she giggled, reaching over to poke his tummy, hoping to make him laugh a bit and relax. "I might do one or two quick ones, but the rest of the painting will be done at home, after we get back. I know not everyone likes to sit and watch me when I'm painting, so I'll try not to take too long."
"Yeah!" Ian exclaimed, jumping to his feet and pouncing on Prince. "We'll have loads of fun even if Mom does paint! And maybe if we're real good she'll paint something on us, too!"
"Only if Gaunt doesn't mind," Serenity warned her son. She looked up at Gaunt. "I do have face paint as well, if you don't mind Prince getting a little dirty ..."

The Prince squeaked and wiggled when he was poked in the tummy, then squeaks again and laughed as Ian glomped onto him. "O.. okay! As long as it's one or two quick ones!" He blinked and looked up at Gaunt, looking slightly confused but excited at the same time. "Hey, Gaunt? Is it okay if I get painted on?"
Gaunt considers for a moment, then he nods. "Alright. I don't mind."
"YAY!" Exclaimed Prince and tried to pounce on Gaunt and give him a hug, but since Gaunt was so big, it was a bit of a task, and he didn't have a hope of getting his arms around anything other than Gaunt's forearm.

Serenity laughed again and picked up Ian, bringing him to her shoulder so that he could sit.
"Then we shall see you at the park here in the city, say, eleven o'clock Saturday morning?" she suggested. "Right at the entrance, it looked a bit big and that way we won't miss each other."
Ian made himself comfortable on Serenity's shoulder, his bare feet kicking against her collarbone gently.

Gaunt nodded as he quickly took down the last bite or two of ice cream the had left, since it looked like Serenity was getting ready to wrap things up. "Mmm. Sounds good to me." He gently scoops up Prince and sets him on the edge of modified vase's lip, where he perches and smiles over at Ian and Serenity.

Serenity smiled warmly at Gaunt and Prince.
"Then it's settled," she beamed. "I'm really looking forward to this, Gaunt ... I've never done anything like this before." She laughed and reached for her purse. "And ... I really hope I don't seem as if I'm rushing this ... but I promised Mama that I would be home right after ice cream, I'm going to be doing a bit of babysitting tonight."
Her eyes sparkled brightly as she leaned forward, reaching for Gaunt's hand and holding it in her own. "But I really enjoyed today," she told him softly, the tips of her ears tinging a slight pink. "Very much so. And I am really looking forward to Saturday."

He smiles softly and warmly when Serenity takes his hand in her own and he gently squeezes the one in his palm. "I'm looking forward to it too, Serenity. I already can't wait." He smiles softly and he nods after she releases his hand and he half-stands to get the vase back up on to his back. "And I understand that you have to go. I promised Prince I'd show him around the city today, so I have an obligation to fulfill to him as well." He throws a playful look over his shoulder. "Though since we've already had ice cream, I guess you're obligated to be good, Prince."
The Prince nods slowly and he pouts. "Yeah, I guess I am." He then brightened a bit and performed a full-arm wave to Serenity and Ian. "See you guys Saturday~! ♫♪"

Serenity giggled and also rose to her feet, holding her purse in one hand and reaching up to balance Ian with the other.
"Thank you very much for the ice cream," she smiled warmly, bowing deeply at the waist in the Japanese style that was so much a part of her life. "I enjoyed it very much, as I did your company."
She straightened once more and let go of Ian, once she knew he was sitting properly again. "We'll see you Saturday!" she beamed, waving with one hand and heading towards the door.
"See you guys!" Ian called over Serenity's shoulder, standing up and holding onto her head for balance. He waved with his free arm, back and forth so violently that his entire body was waving back and forth as well. "Be good, Prince, so that you don't gotta stay home!"

"I'll be good!" Called back Prince. "You do the same! It won't be fun if you gotta stay behind!"
Gaunt smiles and returns the bow, though his form was probably far from perfect. He was a Westerner, though he did enjoy Eastern culture. "Yeah, it was really enjoyable to talk with you. I can't wait to talk to you even more on Saturday."
They exit the little cafe, say their last goodbyes, and most likely head their seperate ways.
