Velociraptor is a genus of dromaeosaurid theropod dinosaur that existed approximately 75 to 71 million years ago during the later part of the Cretaceous Period.
Comparatively, these carnivorous dinosaurs are very intelligent, and capable of utilizing problem-solving skills. This, coupled with their social nature (usually living/hunting in small packs), makes them an extremely deadly predator.
They are a medium-sized dromaeosaur, standing only about 3 feet high. Their cousins, such as the Utahraptor, grew much larger.
Due to their high intelligence and vicious nature, Velociraptors should NOT be handled by anyone other than highly experienced personnel. Interacting with these animals should be supervised, and extreme caution should be used at all times.
