"I'm Cami, and he sure does! She's a lovely Fern but she gets lonely around here from time to time. If you want, you could take her home? I'm sure she'd love the attention. THough you gotta be nice - she's one of them weird types that takes in darkness instead of sunlight."

"That's convinet!" He exclaimed, more excited than he should be. "I know you can't tell, because of my dark tan..." (that he imagined) "...But I am a vampire!". He was estadic.
"So, what's her name?" he asked.

"I think it's Fern." the girl said with a nod. "Her parents weren't very creative." she said, leading him over towards a very large potted Fern seated by one of the windows that looked out into space - pretty damn dark really.

"Oh no, she's a big girl, she can make her own decisions." Cami told him with a warm wave of her hand. "If you don't have any further questions you can take her over and go stand on that floaty disc thing over there and I can send you home."

"It is." the woman said with a nod. "Bon voy-ah-gee! Close your eyes and count to ten!" she said and then pushed the button. When he reopened his eyes, he and Fern were now in his home again. YAY! And he was still in time for dinner and the power was back!
