Hey.
I have a question. Are the FFT games, mainly Advance, War of the Lions, and A2: Grimoire of the Rift, good plays? I want to get a couple of games for my hand held systems, and those are a couple that are on my list.
So, has anyone played them? Would you suggest them?

War of the Lions is awesome. It's my 2nd favorite tactices game of all time - behind ATLUS' Tactic Ogre. I still have my copy for the original playstation.
FFTA on the other hand is also pretty good, but the storyline is definitely kiddie & cutesified - where War of the Lions is dark & complex with alot of political intrigue & mistrust, since it was made by the same guy who created Vagrant Story (another squenix game that sorely needs a sequel).
In terms of gameplay, you pretty much can't go wrong with any of them. But in terms of a deep story w/ lots of character development & a mature theme, go with War of the Lions. If you want something lighthearted & kiddyish then go with FFTA games.

War of the Lions is fabulous. I highly recomend that one.
I really liked FFTA too. It's definately a little kiddy, but the battle system is very fun. I've just recently started FFTA2, and it's good, but the weakest out of the three.

They're all pretty good, but I'd suggest War of the Lions... Even though it has a lag if you're used to the ps1 version. D:

Im with everyone else War of Lions is super good, I didn't play it personally but my roommate did and he totally loved it. 3nodding

Definately get WotL it's amazing <33333 beat the game then went back for stat grinding x3 it's the best game ever!! <333

The original Final Fantasy Tactics game [for PS1] is [in my opinion] amazing! but I also have the Tactics Advance for GBA and it's no where near as good. I don't have a PSP to try it out on =[ so I cannot tell you if there is a difference between the Tactics Advance for GBA and PSP sad

Original Tactics would be the best, however War of the Lions was a great port because they redid all the text to make it sound like old english. The only problem with it was it's crappy load times for the psp. But meh, pretty good game...... I can never beat it though. ><

And now I'm terrified to play because the characters can die forever. D:

FF Tactics is the best tactical strategy game i played LOL
like a lot of jobs and tamable monsters like the dragons or behemoths
like i played it over 3 times mixing job

i would i hav them both and they r good. they hav good storylines and u can change ur job classes which makes it better

war of the lions is good if u dont want to lose ur people forever than u should fight in a group
