Akuma had grown bored as of lately. Life had been duller in the forest and she was without anything to amuse her. Even those two males that adored the ground she walked on weren't around for her to kid around with as she walked through the forest. Yes, life was very disappointing for the deviled tail female since it had failed to do anything interesting lately. To make matters worse the clouds above her seemed to be threatening rain. She hated rain. It was made up with water and getting wet was one of the things that put her in a sour mood. Hopefully, it would only be a light drizzle.
She stopped a good distance in front of a body of water and curled up under a rather large tree. Her eyes remained open and looked over towards the water. The only time she ever really got near water was when she wanted a drink and when she was sure no animals were around to surprise her with a cold splash of liquid. She huffed as she heard some birds calling to each other in the tree above her before flying off. Perhaps she should find better cover before the water began to fall and away from the noise so she could think for a bit.

Kip was swimming slowing in the water hardly making it move. All that could be seen of her was her tail fin and her head fins. Now and again she would poke her nose up and take in some air.
Feeling the water get distrtibed by something she raises her head and looks about. A smile crossed her face when she saw it was starting to rain. It was only light and starting. She loved the rain to no end and this meant she could go walking about without being dry.
With a quick flick of her tail she was at the side of the water and getting out. She didn't even try to shake the water from herself as she moved towards the trees. She wandered how far she would be able to go before the rain stopped. It was not that she needed water, it was just that she loved it so much she wanted to live in it.

What is that...? Akuma had seen something move around in the water and emerge. She could of sworn it was sort of shaped like a dragonfly too, but different, like her. Her eyes narrowed and she debated on ignoring the creature or not. It came from the water so it was probably nothing that could please, her, but she was so bored... The female huffed before forcing herself to get up and stretch out her legs.
Yes, she would go after this strange creature. Even if it was some slimy water thing. She was bored enough to at least get a better look. Unless it rained of course, then she would bolt out and find herself a nice place to stay dry in.

Kip padded along peering at the sky for a moment. Rain would come soon and that meant water! She couldn't wait for the feeling of the water falling from the sky. She never really knew what was around her or anything. She stayed so close to the water she could always run back to it and swim away.
Stopping for a moment she flicked her tail fin for a moment in thought. Maybe she should wait until it started to rain to go far from the water. Frowning for a moment and looking back at the water she thought.

Akuma got within a good distance from the water loving dragonfly to get a good look and to make sure no water could be accidently splashed at her. "My aren't you an odd looking thing. Was your father a fish by any chance? Your tail is strange.... Yet I really shouldn't be talking," Akuma said as she took a few steps closer. Her voice was confident and a smirk formed on her face. She was still wary of the other, but she had already judged that she could have a bit of fun with this one. "You and I must be very different however..."

Kip let out an almost scream when something spoke to her. She half darted back to the water before stopping and looking back. What she saw made her want to get back into the water and not leave it. But she stood her ground kind of. "You shouldn't pop out of nowhere like that!" She managed to sound a little mad but mainly her voice was low because she hardly talked. Taking a long moment to really look over the thing that was talking to her, she saw it was a dragonfly, but one that was kinda like her. Braving getting closer she wanted to see the other dragonfly better.

Akuma forced a smile through her gritted teeth, making her look a bit more threatening even though it was unintentional. "I didn't mean to scare you so badly and I didn't exactly pop out...." She forced a laugh and looked over at her tail to distract herself from giving the other a glare. The other seemed to timid. Akuma knew her fun would end too soon if she snapped, but the other made her feel like she was something horrible to even look upon. "I... apologize. You're a little jumpy though, you must admit... I not even that close to you."

Kip peered at the other dragonfly for awhile and forgot that it had talked. Blinking and looked from it's tail to it's teeth she took a step back. "Well I was not watching. So to me it was popping out." She couldn't say she liked talking. "I don't normally see many other, so, I'm a little jumpy. I'm sorry if that bugs you are something."

"Hmph... It's fine I guess... I can be easily offended so just be careful with how you say things..." She looked back at the other again and narrowed her eyes as she studied Kip. "I'm not a fan of water so I haven't had a chance to meet a dragonfly like yourself. Never knew there was such a thing like you, actually. You live in there, don't you? You reminded me of some sort of water... Thing. You're strange...." She grinned. "I'm strange too though in the sense of being different. It's not such a bad thing though, is it?"

Kip shifted and sat down to watch the other dragonfly. "I'm not a fan of land so I never go to far some water." She smiled. "Yes I live in the water mainly and sleep just on the edge so if anything comes then I can run away." She pawed at the ground a little. "Different is not bad, it is just different, but some don't understand that." Her throat started to hurt from so much talking but she didn't want to get a drink at the moment.

"No, different is not bad. It's just a matter of taste," She agreed with a nod of her head. She chuckled and looked over Kip again. What a big tail. She wondered if it made the other a fast swimmer. She didn't care enough to ask however. "I could never imagine living in such murky, wetness. I rather like warmer and more comfortable places." Her tail swished and looked away for a moment. "So... You must understand why I'm not getting close to you. You're probably wet..." A raindrop hit Akuma's nose and she snarled quietly. The rain was starting to get heavier.

Kip frowned a moment. "I could never live in an area so hot and dry. I think I would die just from the heat alone." As the rain started to get higher Kip started to get happier. "Oh the rain is coming down now! Oh I can wander all I want!" She seemed to forget that she was scared of the other dragonfly at the moment, because water always made her happy. She didn't even hear the growl from the other female.

Akuma watched the other celebrate the falling drops of water through narrowed eyes. She snarled quietly in annoyance. Something about seeing another feel such joy in something that made her coil up in disgust bothered her. She knew it was not right to blame Kip, but she couldn't help feeling angry. "I don't understand how you could hate a place like that. The heat is warm and comfortable." Akuma took a step back. She wanted to at least try to find shelter under a tree, even if it barely protected her from the water. "Glad to see you're enjoying it. I hate this weather though. You know of some shelter nearby? I know you probably don't care about rain, but I'm going to get sick in this."
