If you cancel your subscription (due to being flat broke) how long do you have to resubscribe before they erase your characters?

They don't erase your characters. They will be there when you do resubscribe.

your account "freezes" when you cannot pay or simply won't pay, it will continue to exist for all eternity (or something along those lines), that's why Blizzard can claim they have "over 10 million" subscriptions, as to my guess only 7 or 8 of those are actually active accounts (which still is a lot i guess)

Not this again. <_< Blizzard claims "Over 11 Million active". It's all there in their reports.

And yes, neither your account nor your characters on them will be deleted anytime soon unless they decide to impliment some new policy in that regards which I can't see happening.

Except Blizz only sold 4 million copies of WoTLK. 7 million accounts don't have 60s/70s and play them?

I'm not saying anything either way, I don't really give a ******** what Blizzard says and how many accounts there are. I just wonder. :B

Only 3 of the people in my 19 twinks guild have 80s. Few have said they have a character at 70.

There are many people that are casual, that just decide 'well, this expansion sucks and I don't want it right now', strange as that may sound.

See, I had thought they sold 3.2 (If that was it?) million in the first 24 hours of sales. If they've only sold another 800,000 since it came out.... well, that's kind of hard to believe. You sure you have your numbers right?

Sorry, I think you're right and that they sold 4 million since then. My bad, that makes much more sense now.

lvl 1 spammers.

I've always wondered if Blizz actually deletes those or intentionally leaves them in the database to inflate the numbers?
