❝ l u c y { danielle } s u l l i v a n ❞ღ little miss wallflower ღ ;; but me ƒ я ι є η ∂ s call me l u c e Lucy had walked hundreds of feet from her house now, and yet, she still could not calm down the anger that she was feeling at the moment. In arguments before this one, Lucy usually was relaxed by now. And usually this night time stroll would be just a stroll. She would go to the park and just kick it by the swings for a bit. Just to get her thoughts put together. But today was completely different. She could see the swing set coming closer with every step. And yet she was still furious at her parents. Lucy couldn't understand this. It was the same fight that they always had whenever they came over to try and persuade her to come home with them, and she always gave the same heated response. However, the argument they had tonight was different. Maybe it was because of what had happened earlier with Jona. With her camera. She was probably still mad about it. Probably. Not likely. Not at all. If she wasn't so mad about what Jona did, then why does she still feel so heated about her parents trying to take her away? And then it hit her. It had to do with Jona, but it had nothing to do with her camera. A soft blush appeared on her cheeks at the thought of Jona. She had been doing this all day that day. Especially while she was with her other friends. They had asked her what was wrong, but she had told them nothing and tried to stop the blush from appearing. Only to have little success.
The sound of a car came to her ears as she continued to walk. Thinking that it was just some by stander driving by the neighborhood to head home, Lucy ignored the car and continued walking with her head down and her hands in her pocket. "What the hell am I going to do? My parents are probably going to be at my house the whole night. Or until my aunt and uncle kick them out. Where do I go? Maybe I should call Za--" A familiar voice rang in through her ears and vibrated around her mind to make her remember who owned that voice. And when she remembered, her eyes widened and her body froze in its place. What the heckles is he doing here? she thought, slowly turning to look at him. Her eyes widened some more at his car. She was so amazed at what she saw in front of her. The car had to cost more than hers and Zack's cars were worth put together. Goshhums he's rich! she thought then looked up over towards the owner. Any idiot would know that he was carrying a smile on his face. Which sort of shook Lucy out of her little dazed and amazed feeling. With one blink, Lucy was pissed off again. "You must be from the eighteen-hundreds or something, because I'm no where near half naked!" she snapped at him while she tried her hardest to keep herself from staring at his good looks. Suddenly, she wished she had brought a camera with a flash. Her phone could not do a damn good thing in the nighttime, no matter how hard she tried. With a sigh, Lucy took a step back and then turned on her heel. "Why don't you just leave me alone, okay Jona? I don't want you destroying my phone as well," she said over her shoulder as she walked the few yards towards the park.
Lucy had no idea if he was still following her or not. All she cared about was getting to her relaxation spot and remaining there for however long she had to. This day was just not going the way she would like it to. And it was only ten in the evening. As she struggled to walk on the sand in the dark, Lucy looked at the playground feeling the small relief of being in a place where it was nice and quiet. A place to finally be able to think all she wanted to. Finally reaching her destination, Lucy took a seat on the end swing and started swinging lightly. The swing emitted a low squeak that only she would be able to hear. This made her smile. This was her swing and her swing only. She even remembered bringing a sharpie one time just to write her initial on the bottom of the seat. What she loved about this swing, and the rest of them, was that they were the old style swings. The ones that had a wooden seat instead of those seats that curved when sat on. To her, the wooden seats were more comfortable. At least they gave space and room to move around. Keeping her hands on either side of the chain handles, Lucy pushed herself a little more so that she was swinging a little higher. It was fun being the only person at a park. Even if it was dark.
After a few minutes of mere swinging, Lucy stopped and just sat there, her eyes staring at her sand covered shoes. "What am I going to do?" she asked herself as she crossed her legs at the ankle. Thoughts scrambled here and there. She went from thinking about her camera, to her parents, to Zack, and then to her neighbors. Jona had a large part in the reason why the argument with her parents meant more to her than the other times. She just didn't know what it was. With a sigh, Lucy took out her phone and started to text Zack. He hadn't called her all day since he left the restaurant. And it worried her.
Hey. I hope you're home now. Anyway, call or text back kay? ~Luce
After sending the text, Lucy went back to her thoughts. But this time, when she thought about Jona, her heart beat faster and a blush came back onto her cheeks. Most of the thoughts she had of him were more like day dreams. His face lit up her mind, his pale skin giving off that magical light that she had seen earlier. It was this kind of skin that she wanted to see badly. And to be able to capture it in a photo to keep forever. This was the first time she had seen someone with that kind of skin. And she wanted nothing but to be able to have a picture of him to cherish forever. It made her wonder if the sister was like that too. Which brought her to another thought. I need to talk to her when I get the chance. She looked really mad when I stormed out of there. No that she felt guilt, Lucy just had to get her mind distracted before she had a mental break down from all this thinking. Taking out her phone again, Lucy went to her songs and played Stranger You and I by Daphne Loves Derby. Her foot moved with the beat of the song as it played in a low volume. To play it loudly would disturb her peacefulness that she was feeling. So she had put the volume really low just to bring it to the mood she was feeling. capture that perfect м σ м є и т.

. : J o n a t h a n . R e y n o l d s . C h e v a l i e r : . We don't love to be loved; we love to love. "You must be from the eighteen-hundreds or something, because I'm no where near half naked!" she said and Jona scoffed. With a small smile on his face he thought Well she is right on the money. She was beautiful, and Jona was entranced by her a bit. Her scent was very pleasing, like fresh flowers and fruits. Jona focused on her neck and saw her heartbeat under her skin. He felt himself mover forward a fraction of an inch and pulled himself back. The next words out of her mouth were not so laughable "Why don't you just leave me alone, okay Jona? I don't want you destroying my phone as well," and it took all of Jona’s self control not to snap at her. She continued towards the park and he stayed back and observed her. ”Is it even worth it?” he thought out loud. He watched her go to the ‘old’ swing set, shuffling a bit in the sand, and sit on the far right swing and started to swing lightly. Jona got out of his car and dashed into the darkness, and stopped when he was about fifteen feet behind Lucy. "What am I going to do?" he herd her think outloud. She started to swing a little higher and he herd her heart rate increase. Jona smiled and took a few steppes closer till he was but a foot from her.Jona sat himself on the swing next to her but remained still as he spoke ”Well, for one you could let me get you a gift.” he said trying not to startle her. Jona looked over at her and watched her hair sway as she swung back and forth. He observed how the moonlight reflected off her skin and how the night air made her scent less potent. Why couldn’t he leave her alone? Why was he so enthralled with her? All these questions and not a single answer, all he knew is she was going to play a prevalent role in shaping what Jona decided to do with the rest of his life. And that scared him, there had never been anything in his life that effected him so strongly. Jona spoke again before she had a chance to respond ”Now, please, come back to my car with me and as soon as we are done with our endeavor I will take you strait home.” He said standing and putting his hand out.[ooc]Yeah it's short but I didn't have a lot to work with.[/ooc]

❝ l u c y { danielle } s u l l i v a n ❞ღ little miss wallflower ღ ;; but me ƒ я ι є η ∂ s call me l u c e A gift? This was probably some way to make amends with her. There was no doubt about it. Lucy acted like she hadn't heard him for a moment, continuing to stare down at her shoes while she swung on the swing for a few seconds. When she knew that she couldn't get herself to ignore him any longer, Lucy lifted her head up to look at him. With the help of the field lights shining over the baseball field not a few yards away, she was able to see him properly. And she could see that he was really observing her. This made her blush again. Whenever he looked at her, she always felt so flustered. What will you getting a gift for me do for you? she asked, turning to look at him fully in the eyes. Her eyes stuck to his like glue. "Your eyes. They're so beautiful. This is the first time I've seen someone with amber colored eyes," she muttered, gazing right into his gorgeous eyes. Did she really need another reason to fall for him?
Running a hand through her hair once over, Lucy sat silently for a long moment. She waited for Jona to say something else. Or to just leave her alone which she hoped he would do. And when he got up, she was almost relieved to think that he was going to leave. But when he spoke ot her again, asking that she come with him to his car, Lucy looked up at him with disbelief. "How old are you?" she asked, an eyebrow raised as she gazed up at him. She then stared at his outstretched hand, wondering what she should do now. He's too much like a gentleman. she thought while fighting the urge to smile up at him. With a sigh, Lucy took his hand, but immediately pulled away. His hand. It was so cold. There was fright and worry in her eyes. What was wrong with his temperature? And why was his skin so rock hard? Continuing to look up at him, Lucy wondered what to do now. His skin was not what she was use to feeling. But she still had this urge to reach over and take his hand again. The hand that had reached to grab his was burning hot which made her cheeks burn hot as well. What is he doing to me? she thought, looking back down at her shoes.
But the only way she was going to get somewhere with all this tonight was if she fought her fears and took his hand. Slowly and cautiously, Lucy reached up and grabbed his hand. She kept a loose grip just so that if she wanted to let go, she would easily do so. Unless he were to tighten his grip on her hand. Surprisingly however, Lucy felt a sort of warmth through his cold hand. This warmth made her heart flutter. Gazing back up at Jona, Lucy stuck her phone in her back pocket of her shorts and stood up, kicking sand out of her shoes. "Alright. I'll go with you. But you have to do something for me. You have to bring me somewhere that will result in me not going home tonight," she said then started walking. He walked along beside her. They silently walked to his car, their hands still entwined together. Lucy sort of liked this, holding hands with him. When they reached his car, Lucy stepped into the passenger seat. She was feeling really uncomfortable, being in such an expensive car. Her eyes looked around the interior of this car, afraid that she would do something bad if she touched something besides the seat below her. Because she was so afraid to move, Lucy had not realized that they were on the road again. "How exactly are you going to buy me a gift at this time of night?" she asked Jona, staring from the clock in front of her to the driver beside her. :: Zachary Gerald Turner :: -the worst thing you could do your enemies is to forgive them- Shaking himself awake, Zachary found himself on a hard plastic chair outside his mother’s ICU. He stretched, shaking out limp limbs. His whole body hurts. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. Prove of my fifteen hour stint in the hospital: pain. Grumbling, he made his way to the washroom. Splashing water onto his pale face, he managed to wake up a bit more. He went down to the hospital cafeteria for a cup of coffee and a sandwich. As he sat down heavily at one of the many empty tables, he took out the sandwich from its greasy wrapping. He started munching on the almost inedible sandwich but he was hungry, so he didn’t care, much.
He didn’t do much after he abandoned Lucy at the restaurant. He drove immediately towards the hospital and spent more than half a day worrying about his mother and staying with her after she came out of the operation theatre. He tried to reach his father, but always getting the answering machine. After leaving about twenty messages, he gave up. After around five hours after his mother’s operation, she woke up and vomited blood. The doctors pushed her into the operation theatre again. Again, Zachary waited anxiously outside the locked doors with bated breath. After two hours, she was pushed into the ICU. Since then, Zachary has been keeping vigil outside the ward—the doctors did not allow anyone into the ward. His long stint was dotted quite frequently with Lucy’s messages and lots of internet surfing. He wanted to reply to Lucy’s messages, but was afraid of reveling too much.
A buzzing in his pants awoke him from his reverie. He slid his phone out of his pocket and answered the phone. “Zack?” “Dad! Where have you been? Mum’s hospitalized.” “Right son. I’ll go down once I wrap up this deal. Be good.” “Dad, you should come down immediately!” “Zack—look, I’m still very busy. It’s a mammoth deal, you get it?” “Sure. I’ll see you at home.” He disconnected—he was pissed off with his father. Mum’s in the ICU and all you can think about is your huge, mammoth, gigantic deal. He rolled his eyes and stood up. Clearing his table, he threw his trash away before heading to his car. Throwing his bag onto the passenger seat, he started the engine. Suddenly, his cellphone buzz again. It was a message from Lucy. He quickly glanced through the content. I still owe her an explanation. Before he could change his mind, he pressed the reply button and typed in his reply. Luce, I’m really sorry. Can we meet so that I can explain everything to you? Maybe tomorrow? I know it’s really late now… But, I’ll understand if you don’t want to. -Zack
He flipped his phone close and stepped onto the acceleration pad. The car zoomed towards the dark horizon as he sped for home. Zachary parked his car in the garage before walking back to the house. He ran up the stairs and into his room. He grabbed a blue T-shirt with bright lime green words spelling, “Dumb Jock”. What irony. Smiling a little, he grabbed a pair of Bermudas before heading for the bathroom. Refreshing and cool water splashed down on him, he stretched his muscles as the water worked out the kinks in his aching body. Wiping his body dry with a towel, he slipped the clothes he chose and was quickly out of the shower; greatly refreshed. Zachary went back to his room, slamming the door shut and locking it. He didn’t want to see his father when he came home. Taking out his cellphone, laptop and Creative Zen Mosaic, he settled down at his table and booted up his laptop. He plugged his headphones into his Zen. His stomach growled loudly but My Chemical Romance blasted into his ears and it drowned out everything else.ooc: sorry for not posting. “You are beautiful, but you are empty,”... "Thank you, I can take them to the car, if you could just have it brought around to the door." Amelie said. The clerk had been very attentive, which didn't surprise her especially. She sighed deeply and pretended to heft the bags off the counter. It was always a source of amusement to see people's reaction to her shopping habits. She would buy just a little more than it would make sense to carry and then she knew that she had gotten enough. Amelie hoped she had gotten the sizes right. The girl, Lucy, had such eclectic taste in clothing and fit, and garish colors combination of poorly knit atrocities that Lee prayed she would be willing to look at some of the things she'd found for her to "borrow". She thanked the doorman, and slid the valet a 50 pound note. It stood to reason that rather than devouring these people, she would be kind to them. Reward them for keeping their lives. The car was already warm and cozy as she nonchalantly tossed thousands of dollars worth of designer clothes into the back seat. She stretched, unnecessarily, and then pulled away from the curb lightly before speeding past the posh designer shops around her. Fashion had often been an amusement to Amelie. She loved finding the perfect things. It was the comfort that she was allowed now instead of enjoying food and drink. Soft fabrics, well knit items, beautiful pieces of art that we decorate ourselves with.
It put her in mind that she wanted to decorate herself as well. Shops were closing, but she wondered if she found just the right place if they might not just make an exception for her. Lee parked in front of the first jewelry store she spotted that still had it's lights on.
"Hello, I'm so sorry to stop in late. I need a gift desperately and I hope you can help me." Amelie said this in the honest, kind, and slightly manipulative tone she frequently used on men who looked like they would be willing to deliver kindness based on looks. The results were consistent. They started with the clerk finally looking up at her in order to gauge their level of annoyance. This was followed by a very static, "Of course, madam." After that the sales person would take another moment to further study her for flaws. She noticed this consistently. First impressions were nothing. This was the point at which people were won. Amelie looked him in the eye and smiled. She feigned a sigh of relief. These people always liked to be the days savior. "I need a man's watch. Something suitable for daily wear, and not too stuffy, if you please?" After being given a few options she picked the watch she knew she was going to choose all along. It was then they always asked if it was for her husband or boyfriend, never because they thought she ought to be married, but because they hoped she wasn't. "Oh, no, no. It's for my brother. It is important he be conscious of time, we tend to be on very tight schedules." Available, but unavailable. Finally she would get to the point at which she would get to what she actually wanted.
"I know I have taken up so much of your time, and that it's getting very late. I wonder, though, would you mind terribly if I took a moment to find something for myself as well?" "Certainly not, madam, but that is traditionally an engagement piece. Are you certain you wouldn't like to look at something else? I've always heard it's bad luck for a lady to buy herself diamonds." Amelie laughed at this.
As she paid for her purchases, she said what sealed her impression at whatever shop she'd been into, "I don't think this purchase will change my luck one way or the other, unless you'd care to propose."
Only two people had ever done so, but if ever anyone replied no, their voices were entirely engulfed in their lie. “One could not die for you."

My parents have them, which is why they were drawn to each other I believe, and they passed them on to my sister and I.” he said answering her question. She fidgeted a bit like a normal human, but she seemed as if she was feeling uneasy. "How old are you?" Jona looked at her a bit confused by her question but responded in the same breath ”I’m eighteen. I figured you would have known that. Jona continued to stand there his hand outstretched waiting for her. The instant Lucy took his hand she pulled hers from his. Oh, damn. What do I do now? Just relax act as if nothing is wrong. Jona thought to himself as he stood there with his hand still held out. But the look on Lucy’s face was a bit disconcerning. She seem to deliberate for a moment but took his hand again and he led them both to the car. "Alright. I'll go with you. But you have to do something for me. You have to bring me somewhere that will result in me not going home tonight," she said as they walked. ”That is not a problem. We have a guest room you can stay in for as long as you need. He opened her door and let her sit, then went to his side and started the car. He started to drive towards the shop he called earlier in the day.
"How exactly are you going to buy me a gift at this time of night?" Lucy said breaking the silence. Jona took a deep breath letting her scent burn his throat. ”Don’t worry about it. We will be there soon and then you will see. Jona responded with a slight smirk on his face. He glanced down at the speed-o-meter and noticed he was edging towards one hundred and eighty five kilometers a hour*. The roads were a little windy but his car could take anything his crazy drive could throw at it. It wasn’t long till they were sitting in front of the store. It was dimly lit and he knew that Lucy would have a hard time making out what it was. ”I will be right back.” Jona said smiling as he climbed out of the car. He walked up to the door and knock and was almost instantly greeted by the clerk. The clerk handed him a plain cardboard box which Jona took and handed the man a large roll of bills. Jona walked back to the car and set the box in her lap and started driving again.[ooc]* about 115mph[/ooc]

❝ l u c y { danielle } s u l l i v a n ❞ღ little miss wallflower ღ ;; but me ƒ я ι є η ∂ s call me l u c e Even though the roads were deserted, at least the roads they were driving on, Lucy was scared for her life as Jona drove to wherever they were going. She tried not to stare at the speed-o-meter, for she knew that if she did she would throw up right where she sat. Lucy had her hands gripped tightly on her seatbelt. She held on for dear life like her life actually depended on how tighly she held onto the seatbelt. She wanted to tell Jona to please slow down, but the guy looked like he was enjoying his speeding and also she was afraid that instead of words coming out of her, vomit would. When he had mentioned arriving at the destination soon, he sure did mean it. When Jona had turned into another street, Lucy could feel her stomach turn inside her. Like being in a really scary rollercoaster. She felt really sick to stomach. So sick that she had to bring a hand to her mouth just in case she did feel like throwing up. Luckily however, before that could have been dealt with, Jona had parked in front of a store that looked like it was closing. Her eyes remained on the building, wondering what the hell was going on here. As she pulled her hand away to speak to him, he had walked out of his car so suddenly that she had not realized that he had gotten out. Her eyes remained on him the whole time, not even bothering to see what store he had parked in front of. She watched him talk to the worker, who had a brown box in his hands. And then she watched as he gave the worker a roll of money, which amazed her so much at how rich he was. I wonder what he bought that could be that expensive. she thought to herself as he started down to his car.
The box, in Jona's hands, looked like it would only be filled with packing corn. But as he set it down onto her lap, Lucy's eyes widened at the weight. It was heavier than she thought it was. Picking it up, Lucy weighed it in her hands, wondering what it could be. When Jona started driving, she looked down at the box, sort of glad for the distraction from his crazy driving. Removing the tape that kept the box closed, Lucy nervously opened the box and pulled out what was inside. Her eyes widened even more. Holy crap! He didn't! She turned look up at him, fighting the urge to melt. "You didn't have to do thi--" Her phone had buzzed right in the middle of her sentence. After muttering an "excuse me" Lucy pulled out her Blackberry from her back pocket and read the message from Zack. It's about time. she cried out in her mind, rolling her eyes once before hitting the reply button with her free hand. She put her new camera on her lap, putting the box at her feet without tipping it over. With her hands now free, Lucy started to type out a response.
Like hell you're going to tell me tomorrow! I'm coming over tonight! I still have my extra clothes in your closet right? Reply back asap. ~Luce
After sending the text message, Lucy picked up the camera and turned it in her hands. "Um, as I was saying earlier, you didn't have to do this? I mean, the camera you destroyed was so much cheaper than this one. You didn't have to spend so much money on this?" She chose not to say the amount he paid, which she knew by heart because surprisingly, this was her dream camera. She had been saving up money just to buy this. Only to have someone else buy it for her. Sure he was obliged to do it since he had destroyed the money she had worked so hard to earn, but really, this was kind of over the top. In England, and to all other photographers, this camera that she was holding in her hands was top of the line. Which made it cost almost a fortune. Lucy's cheeks burned just looking at it. Everything she needed was here. There was a memory card and all the finest lenses ever. "How in the world were you able to afford all this. All this must be at least six hundred dollars in American currency, if not more," she explained, turning the camera on and pointing it in front of her. She then turned it towards Jona, but immediately pulled away. "I'm sorry," she muttered then turned off the camera. She almost got carried away.
"Um, about what you said earlier. About me taking the guest room in your house. I think I'll pass. So would you mind taking me to Zack's house? Your other neighbor. I need to talk to him about something. And I'm sure your sister would not want me around after I went off on her because of what you did," she said nervously, keeping her eyes on the camera the whole time. "Also, do you mind slowing down a bit. I'm getting motion sickness, sort of," she added quickly when she found herself staring out the window again. Her stomach churned inside her, making her feel like she was going to throw up again. Lucy let out a groan and closed her eyes, tilting her head up to the ceiling of the car. I would also like you to slow down so that I could spend some more time with you. she thought, a light smile on her lips as she this thought came up. No matter how nervous and car sick she felt, being with Jona was probably one of the few best things that could ever happen to her. . : J o n a t h a n . R e y n o l d s . C h e v a l i e r : . We don't love to be loved; we love to love. Jona relaxed as the corners came flying at him one after the other. Having Lucy in the seat next to him he had some difficulty focusing. Lucy began to speak but her cell phone buzzed and she drew it from her pocket. The text was from Zach and Lucy’s reply made Jona a little depressed. He immediately caught himself and focused just as Lucy put her phone away and started to speak again. She spoke of the camera and why he had gotten it for her and mentioned that she thought it cost six hundred American dollars. Jona laughed a bit and smiled ”Actually it cost forty seven hundred euros… That’s about six thousand American dollars.” Jona smiled again at his ability to quickly convert that in his head. He saw Lucy point the camera at him again but turn it away from him. ”I’m sorry.” she said sounding almost displeased. Lucy started speaking again this time she said she wanted to go to her friends house and mentioned the Lee may not want her around. Jona wasn’t sure what she was talking about but he decided it was probably better not to know. I wonder what my sister has been doing all day. She probably went shopping and I hope she is still up for hunting tonight.” but Lucy’s voice interrupted his thoughts. "Also, do you mind slowing down a bit. I'm getting motion sickness, sort of," Jona laughed and slowed the car down.
As they sat there in silence Jona decided he would break the ice. ”Please tell me if I am intruding, but why is it you don’t get along with your parents? I mean they seem like perfectly fine people and seem to want to please you.” Jona hoped he hadn’t spoken out of turn but he was actually intrigued. He loved his own “parents”, but it was different being that he got to chose his parents. As he drove he parked the car on the far side of the park. ”As we were driving I noticed that you wanted to take a photo of me. Come on, it is a nice night and maybe I’ll let you get a shot of me.” Jona said with a laugh as he rose from his car and opened Lucy’s door. Jona took a few steps from her and turned his face up to the sky and took a deep breath of the fresh air. It was just what he needed because her scent was really starting to make him a little wild and the last thing he wanted to do was hurt her. He turned back to face her and smiled his award winning smile ”What’s taking so long?”

❝ l u c y { danielle } s u l l i v a n ❞ღ little miss wallflower ღ ;; but me ƒ я ι є η ∂ s call me l u c e Six hundred in American currency was one thing, but six thousand? Now this guy had gone a little overboard to repay for the camera he had broken. The camera had been approximately four hundred dollars in American money. To go as far as buy a replacement that was about fifteen times as expensive as the broken one was something that Lucy was not use to dealing with. Her hands shook while she held the camera. It felt more delicate in her hands than it did earlier. It had been a long time since she ahd gone online to see what new cameras were out and on sale. Most of them had been around two hundred to three hundred euros. That was not bad for her. But when the price was over three hundred and fifty euros, she just could not pay it. At least not with the money she had at this time. Lucy made a mental note to ask her old boss if she could get her job back. She hoped that she still had the man's number in her cellphone. As she looked up from the camera on her lap, Lucy noticed that the scenery outside was more distinctive than before. So he actually did drive slower. This made her feel so much better. At least then she wouldn't have to worry about throwing up in an expensive car. Who knows how pissed off Jona would have been then.
Wonder flashed into her mind as Jona parked at the far side of the park. This was only mere minutes later. As she stepped out the car, keeping her gaze away from his at all times, Lucy wondered what really happened in this peaceful place. There had been rumors for years that many couples came here to hook up since they couldn't do it at home. It made Lucy sick and disgusted that some people would do something like that. It was no wonder she had found used condoms at some times when she came here with eitehr Zack or her cousin and his friends. As Jona began to speak, Lucy felt a burning feeling on her cheeks. And suddenly she wished that she had been in complete darkness now. Then Jona wouldn't be able to see her blush. He was finally letting her take a photo of him. Her insides screamed with excitement. She was finally going to be able to take a photo of this beautiful man. She was so happy, she was so excited, she was so nervous, she was---Lucy blinked when she heard Jona speak to her again. Her blush deepened, realizing now that she had kept him hanging in a pose for longer than he should have. Muttering a couple apologies, Lucy turned on the camera and brought it to eye level. "You make modeling seem to natural," Plus I love your smile. Placing her finger on the shutter, Lucy pressed down and a bright light blinded Lucy for a few seconds. Blinking, she saw white spots fill her sight. The flash was amazing. Just what she wanted.
When finally she was able to see properly, Lucy pressed the Review button and stared at the results. It was as if it was day time when she had taken this photo. If one were to ignore the darkness in the background, it would look like the flash was sunlight instead of the flash. It was amazing. But what Lucy could not stop staring at was the person in the photo. Jona looked more handsome on film than in person. His smile, oh that smile. He could have opened the heavens with that smile. It made Lucy wonder if he was probably a ladies' man back in France. "Here. You look really good," she said in a soft voice, walking over to stand beside Jona. She handed him the camera and then looked up at him for his reaction to her shot. The only aspect of the photo that she was disappointed with was that his skin didn't have that magical beauty that she wanted to see so badly. She hoped that someday she would be able to get a picture of him with that magic around him.
Even though she hadn't looked like it, Lucy had been thinking about the question that Jona had asked earlier. About her parents. Ever since he said the words, Lucy had debated whether she should tell him or not. After all, they hadn't really gotten along so well except for now. But she felt like she could trust him. He had that kind of feeling around him. Clearing her throat, Lucy took a couple steps away from him and went back to lean on the car. Her hands were deep in her pockets, her head bowed to the ground as she began to speak. "They, my parents, may look like perfectly fine people, but that doesn't stop the feelings that I have for them. It may not look like it now, but back when I was a baby, I was very unhealthy. And it's because of them. Those two were strict vegans, everything that had come from an animal was not to come near me. And they fed me horrible things, something that would be in their diet, only for babies. I was lucky that my mom's sister, my aunt, was able to save me. I could have died if they didn't found out what my parents were doing to me," she explained in a sort of ashamed voice. Here was this guy, who seemed so perfect besides the anger problem. And then here she was, groaning about her family problems. She let out a sigh and then continued. "My parents went to a rehabilitation back in the states for most of my life. So I lived with my aunt and uncle for my whole life. They were released two years ago. And every since then they have tried to get on my good graces. But I can't forgive them for what they had done to me when I was younger. And worst of all, because of them, I had to back out of the greatest opportunity of my life."
Lucy wasn't going to cry. She wasn't going to whine about how her parents had ruined most of her life. Everything that she had worked on and then to watch it go down the drain. Taking a shuttering breath, Lucy looked back up at Jona and smiled sadly. "Sorry. I hope my explanation didn't upset you or something," she apologized, crossing her arms over her chest loosely. There was a slight wind now, making her body reveal goosebumps. She suddenly wished she was back home now. Or at least in Zack's house. He still hadn't responded to her text message. And it made her worry about her best friend all over again. Ever since his mom had been going to hospital as a patient, Zack had been growing more distant with her.capture that perfect м σ м є и т.

. : J o n a t h a n . R e y n o l d s . C h e v a l i e r : . We don't love to be loved; we love to love. Jona laughed as Lucy said he was good at modeling and he locked in a few more poses. They way she looked at him made him want to blush her eyes scanned his body as is he was a piece of art. She turned the camera to him and showed him the shot she just took. She is very good. I wonder what she sees in me? Jona examined the photo a second longer then handed the camera back to Lucy. It was impossible not to think of her as beautiful the way she smelled, how the moon made her eye’s twinkle, or how she always help the camera as if there could be a shot at any moment and she didn’t want to miss it. Jona was happy she liked the gift he had gotten her and was glad she didn’t appear to still be mad at him for breaking her other camera. It seemed like years ago that he had done it and the second he did he was immediately regretting he had. He started to feel the burn of his thirst so he took his eyes off of her and looked over at his car.
It was a long moment before Jona asked about Lucy’s parents. Her story caught him off guard and he almost said sorry for hashing up old memories. But the part about her parents caught his attention and he smirked under his hand. His lifestyle to others of his kind was referred to as being vegetarian. When she asked if her story had upset Jona, he scoffed and smiled at her. ”I didn’t realize that you had such a rough up bringing. My story is a bit boring compared to yours.” He laughed a bit to himself again as he looked at her. ”Funny thing is I am actually a vegetarian. But I hope you don’t see me in the same light as your parents.” Jona watched as a breeze blew by that rose goose bumps on Lucy’s arms. He pulled off the sweater he was wearing and handed it to her. ”It’s cooling off lets get you home.” he said as he smiled.[ooc]Sorry it's so short and lame.[/ooc]

ded :: Zachary Gerald Turner :: -the worst thing you could do your enemies is to forgive them- Zachary heard his father slamming the front door shut, loud above the ear-blasting heavy metals he had on his headphones. Sighing, he switched off his light and unlocked his door before delving into bed. He didn’t want to argue with his father, not tonight, not tomorrow morning, and not ever. His timing was fortuitous however, as his dad open the door a moment later. “Son? You awake?” He asked, whispering softly so as to not disturb Zachary. Zachary didn’t reply and as his father closed the door, his phone buzzed furiously on his desk. Thank god it didn’t ring when dad was in here! He crossed the small space between his bed and the desk and scooped up his phone. As he was about to see the message, he heard someone outside, opening his door. Shocked, he jumped into bed, pulling the covers above him fully. His dad slipped into the room and placed a note on his desk, then, he turned and left the room. A moment later, Zachary could hear his father closing the front door and driving his car from the garage. Breathing a sigh of relief, he sat up once again. He read the little note from his father, informing him that he would be going to the hospital to visit his mother and would be going for work in the morning from there. I wonder if you’re going to visit mum or… He mused.
Suddenly, Zachary remembered the message from Lucy. He quickly pressed reply and formed a reply within seconds. Sorry for the late reply, was sort of busy with something. Umm… last time I looked there seem to be more of your clothes than mine! Besides there is always the wondrous spare bed my ‘rents bought for you. I’ll see ya later. -Zack After sending that message, he went downstairs for a mug of hot chocolate. Raiding the kitchen, he managed to find some peanut butter and jam. Spreading it carefully on two pieces of toasted bread, he managed to have a rather… edible supper. Sipping the hot chocolate carefully and holding his “loot” he went to the living room. He switched on the television and muted the sound. Watching flickering figures acting in mindless sitcoms wasn’t his best way to spend time, but he was scared of falling asleep upstairs in his room and he needed a distraction from his anxiety of his mother. Yawning, he stretched. He washed his mug and dried it carefully before going upstairs to get his cellphone. He went downstairs again and typed out another message, all the while glancing at the clock in the living room. Luce, when are you coming over? I’m falling asleep! If I’m not awake, I can’t let you in… Just joking, but do come over quick, I’m really falling asleep. -Zackooc: Sorry, guys! I totally forgot about this role-play!when someone strikes you on your left cheek, offer them your right one.

❝ l u c y { danielle } s u l l i v a n ❞ღ little miss wallflower ღ ;; but me ƒ я ι є η ∂ s call me l u c e Lucy's eyes blinked continuously as she stared at Jona. He sure didn't look vegetarian. But then, there is more to a person then meets the eye. After a couple more blinks, Lucy shook her head to focus. "Oh, that's fine. I said that my parents were, or more like still are, vegan. I'm vegetarian myself now because of them so I don't see you in the way that I see them. Don't worry about it," she muttered then leaned on the car. Suddenly her phone buzzed in her pocket, causing her jump off from the car and a little shaken. She hated it when her phone went off and she was so concentrated on something else. Digging through her shorts pocket, Lucy scrolled to her new text message and read it. Finally he responds she thought, with a smirk on her lips. As she was about to hit the Reply option and text back Zack, Lucy felt a warmth on her arms. She let out a gasp, looking up right into Jona's eyes. They had this amber tint to them that she really hadn't noticed. All she wanted to do was capture this color with her camera. But she had already taken a picture of Jona so she didn't. A blush crept onto her cheeks as she looked up at him, realizing that he was closer than before. Taking the sweater from him, Lucy placed the camera on the top of the car so that her hands were free to slip the sweater on. She flashed him a grateful smile then went back to looking at her phone. To her surprise there was another message from Zack. After she read it, with a hint of a giggle coming out, Lucy hit the Reply button and started to type up a message.
All right. All right. I'm coming. I'm coming. And besides, even if you were asleep I would be able to get in. After all, I know where your parents keep the extra house key remember? I'll be there soon kay? ~ Luce.
After she sent the message, Lucy turned to look at Jona and smiled lightly. When she removed the sweater and handed it back to him, she took the camera in her hands and then started off towards the sidewalk. "I think I'll walk. That way you can get home before your sister gets worried. Um, thanks for the camera. I guess I'll see you tomorrow, or something," she said. With a sheepish smile on her lips, Lucy sent Jona a quick wave then sped walked over to the sidewalk. She didn't turn back to see if Jona was going to follow her. It wasn't that big of a deal anyway. Her neighborhood was such a safe place that she always walked the streets at this time of night. Especially when it was with Zack. She remembered so many nights when they would spend the night at each other's house and then sneak out through the window to get some late night fresh air. The more she thought about spending the night at her best friend's house tonight, the more Lucy felt so excited. Sure, her best friend might be half asleep by the time she got there, but at least she got to spend more than an hour with him. They hadn't had a time together since her graduation.
When finally at Zack's front porch, Lucy looked around for that particular wood on the porch that was just not right. Since she hadn't been at this house for a while, because his mom had been in the hospital lately, Lucy was having a hard time trying to remember where exactly that wooden piece was. Wasn't that plant over...there? She stared at the empty spot on the porch. And then she blinked, that plant was right above the wooden spot before it was moved to where it was now. So, with this in mind, she turned towards where she thought that plant had been before and then she let out a breath of victory. There was the wooden piece that she knew was not suppose to be there. Her eyes wandered towards the window that would look into the living room if the blinds had not been closed. Lucy blinked one more time and then squatted down in front of the wooden piece. With effortless pull on the wood, it broke apart from the porch and right in front of her was a small silver key that would open the screen and wooden front door. Taking hold of the key and then placing the wood back in place, Lucy walked over to the door and unlocked it. She heard the click, afterwards turning the knob and being welcomed inside by this familiar pull into the house she was so familiar with. She smiled lightly, closing the door behind her carefully.
When she placed the spare key on the little key table at the front hallway, Lucy stepped into the living room to see a mute television and the back of the person she was so use to. Lucy's smile widened as she walked around the couch and took a seat beside her best friend who looked really sleepy. "Long time, no see, Zacky-boy!" Lucy said in a soft voice, wrapping her arm around her best friend's shoulders and then resting her head on his shoulder. Her eyes remained on the soundless television as some infomercial played about a blender that would work wonders. Letting out a deep breath, Lucy looked over at Zack and shook him a little so that he wouldn't go to sleep. "So, you remember how I broke down in tears because our neighbor had broken my most expensive camera?" she asked while her figners brushed along the cool feel of her new camera that laid on her other side. She then picked it up and showed it to Zack. "He drove me to this electronic store and bought me this camera. It's like four times as expensive as the one he had broken," she explained. She then placed the camera on his lap and went back to looking at the television.
A minute or so later, Lucy asked, "Do you mind if I stay here for a while? Um, my parents are at my house." Lucy was embarrassed that she was asking Zack to let her stay longer than she should have. Especially since she hadn't stayed over since before or a few days after her graduation. Well, it was more like after his mom had started to visit the hospital more and more than usual. With this in mind, Lucy had the urge to ask him what was wrong with his mom. But since he hadn't come to her and said anything about it, she felt that maybe it wasn't her business to ask. He's not open with me anymore. she thought, letting out a sigh. She then got up and grabbed the blanket on the arm of the couch and brought it around her and him. "It's like high school all over again, huh, Zack?" she said with a smile as she still stared at the muted television. For now, she was going to let the question slide. Just because she didn't want to get in a fight with her best friend when tonight she was going to stay under the same roof. capture that perfect м σ м є и т.

:: Zachary Gerald Turner :: -the worst thing you could do your enemies is to forgive them- The colourful flickering images on the television blurred. The day’s event weighted down on Zachary’s shoulder and he felt tired. His mum was in the hospital and his dad’s whereabouts is unknown. His father did say he was going to visit his mother, but perhaps he was out “god knows where” on the pretext of visiting his mother. Sleeping is good… was his last thought as he surrended to the gentle lapping of soothing darkness. That was when he heard the screen door open. His eyes flicked open and he sat up straighter on the sofa, rubbing his drowsy eyes. Lucy entered, her eyes twinkling, and her lips curved into a smile. “And I thought you weren’t coming, Lucy-wucy.” Zachary was glad that Lucy did come, he was rather afraid of being alone, thus the messages of rushing her here. She sat down beside him, wrapping her hand over his broad shoulder. A wave of nostalgia hit him as he thought about his blissful past. "So, you remember how I broke down in tears because our neighbor had broken my most expensive camera? He drove me to this electronic store and bought me this camera. It's like four times as expensive as the one he had broken," “He did? He must be really rich… My father did say some thing about the family being very rich… He asked me not to offend them…” Zachary smiled.
"Do you mind if I stay here for a while? Um, my parents are at my house." Zachary rolled his eyes. “I was about to ask you the same question. You’re welcome to stay as long as you want, provided that you don’t raid the kitchen of my favourite tidbits!” He laughed, a first in many hours. “Just joking! You’re welcome to do anything you want, there’s no one at home…” Suddenly, Zachary was reminded of something he had to tell Lucy. “Umm… Luc—“ However, she jumped up and grabbed a blanket before wrapping it around the both of them. Zachary tried again. “Luce, I have something very important to tell you… My mother…” He hesitated, and took a breath. “She’s an alcoholic.” Three words, they sounded so final. “You don’t mind do you… my mum being an alcoholic? Don’t try to comfort me… because reality is like that… Now you know why I took a gap year…” what he wanted to say came out garbled. He went silent and there was an awkward pause in between them. Zachary took a deep breath to calm himself. “Now you have it, the only secret I’ve kept from you.” He pulled the blanket off himself and walked off towards the kitchen.
Zachary was afraid to face Lucy. “Umm… Luce, what do you want for a drink? Is hot chocolate okay?” he called. Without waiting for a reply, he opened the cupboard containing hot chocolate and started preparing it. He opened another cupboard and took out the cookie jar. He grabbed a plate and out a few chocolate chip cookie atop it. Then, he carried everything out into the living room. “A chocolate supper… I baked the cookies myself. As for the alcoholic thing… you don’t mind, do you?” He tried to smile at Lucy, but only a bitter grimace could be seen.when someone strikes you on your left cheek, offer them your right one.

...a m é l i e . .m a r i n. . c h e v a l i e r ...
“You are beautiful, but you are empty,”... "What is possibly taking you so long? I thought you were just making your amends and we were going to go hunting?"
Amelie spoke very quietly and with heavy irritation into her phone. With an exaggerated sigh, she put the Tiffany box on the front table with a small card that said nothing but, Jonathan. Her shopping bags were splayed neatly in the living room. It had been only a day and the neighbor girl was a complete preoccupation. A twinge of bitter loneliness rang ached in her chest. She wanted her brother to be happy, truly. But did she always have to be so lonely. She picked up the closest bag and separated it's contents. Her things in one pile, Lucy's in another. Her pile was primarily muted colors, blacks, grays, and tans. There was an occasional bit of color, but rarely anything beyond denim. There was one stand out item. A very red dress, which Amelie draped lightly over the arm of the sofa. Lucy's pile had many more colors, but not so many patterns as she was used to seeing on the girl's form. And even still, Amelie had made it a point to incorporate more subdued shades as well
She sighed again, waiting for him to reply. Absently, she twirled the engagement ring she'd bought for herself around her middle finger. It was pretty, and empty, and felt like the right thing for her to have. His voice was low, and fast as he told her that he was just dropping the girl off.
"Jona, ne sont pas stupide. Tu ne peux pas devenir attaché à cette fille."
Don't be stupid, Jona. You can't get attached to this girl. It was as if the magnitude of this potential attachment just crashed down over her head. The shopping bags around her made her chest ache with heavy embarrassment. It was so easy to take leave of her senses when she forgot that the more they spoke to people, the more people got to know them... the sooner they always had to leave. And the more danger they left behind them. I shouldn't have left today. I should have stayed at home. Why do I have to be such a child? In one sweep she took the clothes she'd bought for Lucy, tossed them into an empty shopping bag. Hurriedly she threw them into the closet of their guest room, and ran back downstairs, staring at the neighboring driveway.“One could not die for you."
