Had a semi-halfassed sex ed thingy in 5th grade but never in 8th. That thing was confusing more than anything. They showed a vid about a kid who had a wet dream and wanted to borrow his teenage brother's puberty book to find out what it was. He got the book, end of vid. Then they gave us ice cream. Talk about confusing.

I remember that video in 5th grade. xD
But yeah in health class we had a week devoted to nothing but sex ed. Boy was that fun.

In my school district all they were allowed to teach us was :
"This is a period
birth control is out there but we're legally bound not to explain it
don't have sex ever"

The word sex was never mentioned in ours. It was a vid that said the word wet dream a lot and wet dream was NEVER actually explained. Sex, condums, or anything related to that topic was never even brought up.
