Welcome to the Shadow Arena! This is the first time I've owned a Guild, so we'll give this a shot! mrgreen Recent Updates:
((FRI: 11/18/05)) Guild Announcements finally updated. sweatdrop Tournament Sign-Ups now over! Tournament will begin very soon.
((TUE: 9/27/05)) Guild Contest Over! With the Guild Contest over, it paves way for the Tournament Sign-ups!
((MON: 9/5/05)) Contest Extended! (Until a winner is decided).
((THUR: 9/1/05)) Recruitment Contest coming to a close.
((Wed: 8/3/05)) Custom Arenas are now allowed. Please see the rules for details.

The URL code for the images has been changed to PhotoBucket. Hopefully this will keep the reliability, as Yahoo gave us dead images every other day. I'll still most likely keep the images on Yahoo as well, until I need more space. So you don't have to change anything, but it's generally a good idea.

arrow Upcoming Events:
Here's a list of the next events to hit Shadow Arena. Keep in mind they are in no particular order:
Guild RP: We're thinking of working on a Guild RP. If you have any plot idea's, please send them in the 'Got Suggestions' Thread.
Status: Put on hold.
Arena -VS- Arena: Sometime in the near future, our very own Shadow Arena with be facing against the Empty Arena, controlled by Emptyones Shadow. Contestants are needed. PM either Lord Oni-mushu or Archangel Honor Bound
Status: Not likely to happen soon.
2-on-2 Battling: A style of battling with a partner, against an opponent with their own partner.
Status: done
Guild Tournament: A tournament that will be held to decide the strongest fighter in the Shadow Arena!
Status: Almost ready. Being Worked On

exclaim Announcement (9/1/05) exclaim Alright, it's been a while since we've had an announcement. But recently, me and some of the Guardians have had a burst of inspiration. So, within the end of the week (Most likely on Sunday the 4th), the Guild contest will come to a close. At that time, the single person with the most people recruited will win the prize money. Then, once that's over, I'll be glad to announce the beginning of the Guild Tournament! Once the Contest is over, the Sign-Ups for the Guild Tournament will be open, for anyone to enter. And this is open for anyone and everyone, no matter how good you are at fighting. All it requires is that you pay the small 500 Gold Entry fee. As for the prize, that's determined by how many members enter. The more contestants, the bigger the prizes. 3nodding And in other news, we have an important Poll active. It's found here, and it's about allowing a certain member into the Arena. If you want to know why he wasn't allowed in the first Arena, check here.

Due to a shocking tie in people recruited by Archangel and Ryu, the contest has been extended until a winner's decided! It's still open for anyone and the prize up for grabs. It'll go to whomever can get 4 or more people successfully recruited (This means they have to join and have over 5 posts here).
While this is going on, the Guild Tournament will be postponed. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it shouldn't take to long. 3nodding

exclaim Announcement (TUE: 9/27/05) exclaim And it's over! The long lasting Guild Recruiting Contest is over, and the winner is Ryu_Yosei. She managed to find one more user to give her the win. Enjoy the Gold Ryu! But, with the contest over, the Guild Tournament Sign-ups will now begin! The cost to enter shall be 500 Gold, and the winner will walk away with a Gold Prize! But here's the catch. The prize is determined by how many members join. The more that enter, the more Gold recieved! I'll work out the percentage for first place winner, second place winner etc. later, but now's your chance. Don't worry, as of now, I wont be entering. New Sub-forum release! Well, finally the Great Gaia Admin's have added a use for the Guild Gold Donations, and that's the fact that we can now purchase Sub-Forums! At the cost of 2,500 Gold, it's a bit of a price, but I was able to spend some hard donated cash, and get this Sub-Forum, where all the Rules and Formal things like that'll go. As for this announcement, I'm merely letting you all know where the rules went. 3nodding
