Slowly, but surely Cylina opened her eyes and stared across the cold ground. It'd snowed again the night before and the cool chill that the snow often left was present in the air. She shivered lightly and then got up, stretching out her body and shaking out her tail. Lightly she padded over toward her guardian, Echawee, who was still asleep. Smiling down upon the young girl, she decided not to wake her and instead headed for the small tepee/shacks door and squeezed her small body underneath the fur door.
The cold finally hit her after she'd emerged. It overwhelmed her nose forcing her into a fit of sneezing which knocked her small body over with its force. Rising again upon shaky legs, she yawned and then looked around at the frozen whiteness that surrounded her and wondered what new discoveries and friends she'd stumble upon today.

Ivan was tired. He had wanted to play in the snow, but he had run too far away from his guardian and his home. It was colder than he had first thought. He shook himself to dislodge excess snow and tried to find a landmark. There. There was somehing black to his right.
He trotted towards it. Then stopped. It was anouther cub. How fun! Maybe they could play together! Forgetting all about the temperature, he tried to run towards her. Unfortunatly his paws were still too big for him and he tripped, slidding until he bumped into the other pup. Whoops. Picking himself up he managed a small "Hi?". 'Maybe she hadn't noticed his fall?' he thought hopefully.
