Opalpaw bolted into the camp, herbs in her jaws.
It was leaf-bare and the only very few plants grew, she had stocked up on catmint, tansy, and lavender.
She went into the medicine cat den and breathed in the scents of the herbs everywhere. The StarClan told her in her dreams that this leaf-bare wouldn't be a harsh as the last.

Wolfpaw saw Opalpaw and quickly padded over to her.
"Hey Opalpaw," he mewed. "Want to come with us? You could collect herbs while we hunt or something."

Opalpaw smiled "Sure thing, Wolfpaw," she mewed and walked out of her den, the sun reflecting off the snow made her pelt seem to glitter.

Opalpaw nodded "True...." she mewed, padding out of the camp.

"That is very true," Wolfpaw agreed. He followed the other two out of camp and started scenting the air. He smelled a rabbit. He spotted it in the distance and carefully padded toward it. then he pounced and ended it before it even knes he was there. He turned back to the others.
