Alright, I was thinking of something the other day: Jesus might come any second. If you're reading this, you're probably thinking, well duh, of course He could come any second! So why are you not living like it? (I apologize in advance if you are living like it. Chances are, some of you aren't. I know I'm not)
What I mean is that there's a chance of Him coming back while you're doing something wrong? What if He comes back while you're ? It wouldn't stop you being saved, but it wouldn't be a good way of starting your life in Heaven, would it? It'd be like getting caught with your hand in the metaphorical cookie jar. Not a very good way to greet Him at all.
And another thing: most, if not all of you, have non-Christian friends. Non-Christian friends who will go to Hell unless they do something about it. And how are they going to do anything about it unless someone tells them? You could be the only Christian they know. If your example is bad, or if you don't make sure they know about God then you're sentencing them to eternal death. I'm not saying you should run around ramming Bibles down people's throats and screaming "REPENT!!!!!111", or staying inside and not talking to anyone to avoid temptation.
It's a Christian's job (I'm not saying I do it perfectly either) to be an imitator of Christ. Just ask yourself if you're doing that. And, if not, ask yourself why. The great thing about God is that He doesn't expect you to do all this on your own. The Holy Spirit will help you, you just have to ask Him to.
I'm sorry if I sound like I'm trying to tell you how to live your life. I'm not; God has already done that through the Bible.
Thanks for reading. And discuss!

In my experience, living like Christ is a great way to win people over. If you shove the bible in their face and scream at them to get themselves right with God, chances are they'll call you a freak and become even more distanced from Christ, since they don't want to become a crazy person. However, the opposite extreme of doing nothing won't win anyone over, either. The happy medium is to just live like Jesus, and give God some credit every once in awhile. People will see the difference, and will probably ask you about it, which becomes a great "teachable moment."
also, you may have friends who believe in God, but make sure they know about Jesus and his sacrifice. My cousin knew that God is real, but was never saved, and didn't really even know anything about Jesus because her family had never been to church. My point: don't automatically assume that any friends you have that believe in God are saved. Just ask them. If they are, great. If they aren't, it shouldn't be difficult for them to accept Jesus, since they already have some faith.

Actually, that happened to me at school (your "teachable moment" point). This guy had been told I'd insulted his mum (I hadn't) by a guy who used to do karate at the same place as me. The guy then started on me and beat me up. I managed to completely turn the other cheek (hehe, it helped that there were about ten of them). In my next RE lesson, we were doing about pacifism. I was able to tell them that I didn't fight back (even though I could have done easily) because Jesus didn't fight back when He could have called down thousands of angels and got down from the cross.
So yes, living like Jesus is good. It helps to remember that God is living inside Christians, so everything you do isn't just you doing it, but the Holy Spirit is inside you doing it as well.
