Zoran flicked his tail at an off beat. Randomly, the tip of his tiny tail would flick up towards the sky then lay flat on the ground again. The juve sighed as he looked around at all the other cubs around. He was off at a distance, but could clearly see the others that were mainly around his age. He wasn't quite sure if he liked this place just yet, but he was stuck here and couldn't go anywhere else. Zoran laid his head on his front paws which were crossed in front of him.
Zoran remembered his family very well. His two mothers who were both lions and three siblings. Though, something in that family was missing. A... what did that one female call that thing... papa? Oh he couldn't remember. He also knew he wasn't completely a lion. The female cub told him that his tail looked nothing like a lion's tail did. Zoran glanced at his tail which flicked gently when he glanced back at it. Hm... a leopon? Interesting.

Thona moved next to the lonely cub. The only idea that might come crossed someone that might suggest the cub was his was the green hair. other then that, he looked nothing like Thona. He sat next to the cub, though didn't look at him. The story he was going to tell, was a lie, but the cub sure didn't need to know that.
"Do you know why you are here?" He asked the young cub.

When Zoran heard the king's voice, he jumped slightly and looked up to his father. "Oh... um. No." He said simply then looked back down to the other cubs fighting amongst one another. He didn't care too much for fighting, but soon he would learn to love it. Soon his personality would change altogether. He moved himself into a sitting position so it would be easier to look up to Thona whenever Thona was speaking to the juve.
Zoran's tail twitched a little more now that the king was next to him. Why was Zoran here? Why wasn't he with his mothers? All these questions buzzed through the juve's head as he waited for Thona's explanation.

"You were left for dead." He told the cub. It almost sounded as if he was telling the truth. But in a really cruel way. "Your family ditched you, leaving you to die, then I found you." He said now looking at the cub. His eyes were so purple. Much like Moray's eyes. He wondered what was happening to that female, yet it didn't matter. He had what he wanted. "They wanted nothing to do with you." He went on.
"I was nice enough to take you into my home as if you were my own." Of course he was his own and he didn't have to do anything but take the cub. "Soon, I'll teach you what the other's know, and you'll be a well trained fighter." He cared not if the other liked it or not... He was going to do as the King said.

Zoran now looked at the ground as he was told a big lie that sounded so much like the truth. "Left to die? That doesn't sound like something my family would do." He said as his tail was now still. It seemed to be the truth. Why else would he be stuck here? So this male was the reason he was alive? The cub wanted to cry, but knew it wouldn't look good in front of the king.
When he told Zoran he was going to be a fighter like the others, he tilted his head slightly then spoke. "But what if I don't want to fight?" He asked, now looking up to the spotted leopard who had matching hair with the cub. It seemed that all the cubs were going to be fighters or something, since they all played so rough with one another.

"That's how it starts. They pretend to love you, then leave you as soon as they think they can get away from it. Trust me, It's happened to me too." A bit of lies with truth there as well. Thona was left alone to die, but that was no matter. He always believed he left them, not them leaving him. "If you don't then you don't have to, but you'll die if we get attacked." He told the cub. "We do have other cat-like creatures who'd love to come in here and kill helpless little young. You don't want that do you. Zoran?"

Zoran looked up at the leopard male. So he saved Zoran because this happened to him as well? He dug his claws into the dirt a little. It bothered him that his family would just up and leave him like that. Why was he the only one left behind? What did he do? His head shook as Thona explained. "I don't want to die." Of course, he didn't want to fight the other cubs either. They all seemed far too rough, though that was probably best so he could be just as tough as they all were, if not tougher.

"Then, you know what you have to do to survive." He told the cub. He would let it sink in for a couple of days. Get the cub to trust him, then teach him the ways of how to be cruel and brutal. "You'll have many of creatures here to help you too, as well as many to try to hurt you too." He spoke the truth about the pride. "no one should be fighting against each other, but it happens."

Zoran sighed at the thought of what he had to do. Not only would it keep Zoran survive, but it would help the pride, he guessed. This pride seemed a little rough, but he was here and had to learn to adapt. "How do I know which creatures to trust to help me?" He asked the king with a slight tilt of his head. Why didn't the king do something to stop everyone from fighting? He was probably too busy with other things.

"You'll know." He spoke. He wasn't sure who out of his pride to trust himself. Other then they where mostly his own spawns, and one day he'd have one to take over his pride. Soon, that day would come. And he couldn't wait for it. Then he'd ignore everyone else and zone in on that one cub to make sure they were to be just like him. Maybe even a little more twisted then himself if he could handle it. "You've just gotta watch and learn."

Zoran peered down at all the other cubs. They all seemed the same to him, of course he was at a distance and probably would be able to tell if he were closer. His tail flicked about behind him then he glanced up at the king. Maybe as time went on he would become like those cubs down there and know who was loyal and who was not. "I'll help you learn who is loyal and who isn't." Zoran figured it would be the best way to help the leopard who saved him.

"Not everyone is loyal to someone as they are to others." He told the cub. He knew who was loyal to himself. It was easy to tell. The only one who wasn't was Thanos, but Thona didn't know that. He though Thanos was his slave, and would be fooled until the day that he decided to betray Thona. But until that day to come, Thona wouldn't realize since his son was so unemotional.
"Well, tomorrow I'll teach you other things. But for now, You'll just have to get to know everyone." He spoke to the cub. He was sure he'll have more enemies in this pride then friends. just because the way he showed Thona he was. But as soon as he was to change, maybe he'll get along with at least someone else.
Thona got up and walked away from the cub, letting him to his own thoughts. That would be the last time Thona was to be nice to the cub. Only to lie and get his trust, and then to train him to be a killer. At least one good enough for the pride, not as good as Thona himself.
