Eryk looked to his last Pokeball in the same woeful look. Rhyhorn was a big Pokemon. And hard to handle. Plus he had little knowledge on Rock Pokemon on general. This was going to be a fun battle. As he tossed Rhyhorn out to the field, it impatiently stamped its feet as it glared down Misdreavus. And it didn't help that his opponent was a ghost type.

((OoC: I'm sorry for taking so long. I just couldn't come up with any move that Gadd would use in this situation.))

Gadd panicked. He tried to think of a move to use in the situation but he couldn't grasp anything. His Pokemon turned to him looking for input. Gaddwick only flinched when it tried to meet his gaze. It gave him a disgusted look as it made its own decision. It turned and gave a hard glare to both its opponent and trainer. It turned and gave its trainer the same mean look. Nobody would be switching out their Pokemon.

((ooc: No problem. That was Mean look right? Wow Rhyhorn has a limited stat-modifying move-pool... and a limited Ghost buster move pool xD))

Eryk almost flinched before he realized that this was both of their last Pokemon anyways, and it was on Lance's clock, so switching out wasn't exactly the first thing on his mind. Quickly he thought of a move Rhyhorn would know, he sighed as he came up with nothing, rock Pokemon weren't exactly his forte. Rhyhorn took the initiative instead as it winked at the opponent's Misdreavus, using an Attract.

The ref reached for his whistle ready to disqualify both trainers but Lance stopped him. "Both Trainers. Get your head in the game. This round will continue until one of the Pokemon faints." he ordered from the sidelines.

Misdreavus blushed and faded from view for a moment. A small giggle was heard before it sharply came into view inches from Ryhorns face using astonish. It twirled back to its place in the arena locking eyes with her trainer feeding off his emotions, laughing.

((ooc: what exactly would the ref have DQ'd us for?))

Eryk looked to Lance as Rhyhorn roared in astonishment, causing the earth to shake and stones to raise off the ground. Who had said his head was not in the game? Always it was in the game, this just wasn't an ideal situation.

The raised stones started to fling themselves at Misdreavus, locked onto its changing position with a Rock Blast. Eryk was learning, knowing how his own Pokemon worked would help him work out a strategy to use its abilities to the fullest. "Go for it Rhyhorn! Show me what you got!" he smiled as he pointed dramatically.

((OoC: Not being in control of our Pokemon. I've very sorry about the delay by the way. School my new classes are not being kind to me.))

Misdreavus twirled avoiding the first few stones thrown but when the third stone hit her she lost her momentum and was pelted by the last two. Gadd gritted his teeth. He had to keep going. He flipped out his SylphDex and scanned the list for any move he knew. "Psywave." He called out with uncertainty. Misdreavus recovered and lazily attacked. A difficult to see beam of energy shot out towards Ryhorn.

Psywave, a familiar tactic to Eryk, it was a randomly effective attack dependent on the Pokemon itself. Misdreavus didn't look very happy or excited to battle with his opponent, so the attack didn't do much except get Rhyhorn even angrier. The rock type roared loudly as it stamped its feet, as if waiting for an order.

"Odd." Eryk sighed, he hadn't exactly ordered a command this whole battle, this was it, time to show his dominance over the Pokemon. "Rhyhorn! Use your head! Attack with Megahorn!" he called out as the Spike Pokemon rushed at Misdreavus with a glowing horn.
