Ok, so I'm doing quests in Bills Ranch, Purvis' Garlic one, the fluff one and the skeeter one, but they never seem to end! Every time I kill 20 or whatever I need to I go back and immediately get sent out for another lot.
Does anyone know if these tasks ever get to an end? Or do they just keep going and going!??!

Nope, they don't end. Those are just a couple of the recurring quests that you choose to do more than once if you want the experience and possible drops, but you don't have to do them more than once.

It wasn't wasted, you got all those other orbs!! And yes they do end. I don't know how many of them I did, but eventually they all stopped giving me the quest again. Besides, I would go ahead and get the quest and eventually the random ones you kill will add up, so you can move on to other quests and come back to finish them off later if you choose to.

Aye, true.
I'm still not sure if I've completed the ranch though. Apparently I'm supposed to get quests from Albert but he wont speak to me at all.

Mark in Barton Town tells you to speak to him, then he will send you into DMP some more for the 3 special critters that show up in there from time to time. The Galoshes snake is north of the cemetery. The Clutch is at the first set of steps up to the OMGWTF. The OMFG is at the very last screen before you trigger the OMGWTF. They always appear in the same spot, if they show, but they don't show up on every trip into DMP.

I finally made it to Bill's Ranch, yay! I got through the first few things, now I have that one Guard's three quests to do. Yay for better internet time! hehee
