Starsong took a few steps away from Blaze and sat down, mostly not by her own choice, she felt incredibly dizzy and very drained, though she made it seem as intentional as she could. She shook her head as she listened to his ramblings about the buck, it didn't make sense.
Shine had continued to pull at the carcass until it was free of the brambles, ignoring his bond's send. As soon as the deer was free he picked up the broken arrow lodged in the beasts eye with his teeth and pulled it out, returning to Star with the evidence of her kill.
Picking up the arrow she sniffed it, turned it over in her hands to make sure it was of her design, and gave a sigh of acceptance. She put her head on her knees and breathed slowly, listening to the near dead silence of the wood again, trying to regain her strength. She didn't know what was wrong with her, how she could have killed something without even remembering. It frightened her, that she my do the same again, but this time, there may be no buck around to satiate whatever hunger lurked inside of her. Her first thought was of Savith, what would he say. Her body jerked once uncontrollably as she could already feel his disapproving demeanor and wondered if he would cast her off like an old chew toy.
Finally standing she turned to Blaze and softly, and calmly sent **Lets go home** She walked to where Shine was starting to heft large branches in a V shape, pulling twine out of her pouch and binding the two together to make a vessel for carrying the buck so it wouldn't drag on the ground. Once completed she waited for Shine to do his work dragging it on the limbs and pulling it as he normally did. She walked ahead clearing out the brush to make a path.
