I have a PSP, and I'm thinking of getting either Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters or Daxter. Both look like great games, but they are a bit similar, so I will only commit to one.
Can anybody recommend either of these games? Which one would you choose? Do you have both, so which one is better? Pros or Cons of each? Thanks. smile

I don't know much about the two games, but knowing what I know about the series, I would say Daxter, I have played Jak and Daxter and Jak 1&2 and perfer it from the one series of Ratchet and clank....BUT the Ratchet and Clank series is more popular and is more diverse among diffrent players.

Yeah, I briefly played both. Daxter seemed more like an adventure platform, while Ratchet and Clank seemed more like a weapon action shooter.

So realy it's about what you perfer...Well I like both types and styles a lot. So I guess I'd go with whichever one is more fun and addicting. Best overall gameplay.

I think both series are bad, but I'd say Jak and Daxter are still better than Ratchet and Clank.

Bloody Kirika I think both series are bad, but I'd say Jak and Daxter are still better than Ratchet and Clank. Yeah, so I've heard. Anyways, I was leaning more towards Daxter.

I played the ratchet and clank game for the psp and it was by far the worst ratchet and clank game i have ever played, though I have only played the first three.

Okay, thanks, that's good to know. (I mean bad that it's unfortunate, but good as in thanks for telling me). I was leaning towards Daxter anyways. But I have had a shortage of time, so I haven't been playing my PSP that much lately.

OK, I take my vote back! I just bought the Daxter game, and it is nothing compared to its predecessors, but the ratchet and clank game is all right.

ZackCloud5 OK, I take my vote back! I just bought the Daxter game, and it is nothing compared to its predecessors, but the ratchet and clank game is all right. Umm...okay. I've heard the opposite from many people that own both games. Daxter might be more of my style as a true platformer, because the Ratchet and Clank theme isn't really my type for a shooter.
