I don't really make new year's resolutions, but some of you may. I did it once, but found I don't have the discipline to stick to them. I just try to take some time to sit and reflect on all that's happened to me in the previous year, and see how much I've grown. And then I look ahead to the new year's eve party and know my next year will start with a bang. wink
Feel free to talk about: ~Whether or not you make resolutions ~If you have a resolution this year, what it is ~Any other sort of new year's tradtition you have.

my brother's getting married on January 1st this year. It's a little hard for me to accept that because of my past with him, but it's gotten better. So this year, I made a resolution to try to be nicer to him, he's all I have left now. So I think I kinda have to. : P

Don't stay up too late tonight. Otherwise you'll be too tired to enjoy the wedding tomorrow biggrin
But that's really cool. I love weddings. I hope that the weather is nice, and that tomorrow is the first day of a long and happy marriage. I also hope that your relationship with your brother will keep getting better and better.

To write at least 1000 words every time I have the time to write. And to keep up my personal Bible reading EVERY day, not just in the several weeks after camp / ubm / trips with my youth group.

i don't really do resolutions for any special occasion, only when I resolve to actually do something. So I quit drinking and smoking. Drinking I quit a few weeks ago, only to find out I don't miss it. Smoking I quit last night, only to find that I need a cigarette so bad right now it's ridiculous.
...and I don't even care that smoking while one has pneumonia is probably counter-productive.
