XM234 Modifications

The XM234 has been modified to fire a more powerful armor piercing 5.56mm round, as well as has been increased with stronger, and lighter materials. The cyclic rate of fire has been increased, though sense the firing system is cool the barrel life is much longer and as well the firing rate time is higher, as the gun over-heats much more slowly and typically will not overheat (unless an extremely long ammo belt is added to the gun). As well, the battery has been made to fire more rounds than the previous battery, 6000 rounds, and is much smaller and lighter. It as well is rechargeable, and can be recharged with nearly any adapter. The most inventive part of the weapon however, is that is uses a backpack to store the batteries and extra ammo. There is an automatic loader which adds new belts to the gun (for a break in firing, and as well to load easier) and is linked through a spot in the back-pack, as well as holds close to 10 batteries, and 5000 rounds. The Backpack itself is close to 60-80 pounds, however makes the gun lighter and easier to aim. It allows the gun to be carried easier as well. The gun also has two hand-held modulators added for a better grip.
