The blades of grass swished within the cool afternoon breeze, and the sun shone down from high above like a radiant beacon. She loved the feeling of such sweet warmth on her cheeks. It was like an adventure; if anything, it was a unique experience scarcely offered. Her little feet would patter along the ground, and her small fingers would tap the occasional bolder-pebble standing in her way. She would run alongside the ants, and adore the sensation of loud noise scattered all about her.
Chihiro loved the park. She loved it all the more when Taiki was willing to let her roam freely across the vast land situated near his feet. It was like a trek across a great plain simply to venture from foot to foot - and she was content with the allowance. Nevertheless, it was a lonely circumstance, and if she were to climb one of the more stern blades, she could see a playground in the distance with children of all shapes and sizes roaming. She wanted that too, but the walk was great, and she was afraid of getting lost somehow. She could only see so far!
And so she had stuck to Taiki's feet until the day she had decided the wanted more. She wanted the playground. It took some convincing, but with sad eyes and a persistent voice, a deal was met and Taiki had taken her away from the bench. He had carried her along and set her down on the border blocking the wood-chips from the grass, and there he had sat down with his newspaper to keep that ever watchful eye on her as she wandered the wood in as careful a manner as a very small little girl could. She found the stairs and climbed them as if they were a great wall, but one trek up one stair was enough. In the end, she had sat down as far out of the way as possible, her little figure no bigger than a tea cup - visible, but miniscule. Rest was a good thing.

A slender brunette girl, hardly in her teens, muttered under her breath as if seemingly unaware of the precious charge that wandered in her shadow. "They're looking at us funny, you know. It's your fault!" she stated slightly louder; just enough for the odd blue child to hear. Psyrin merely clutched at her sister's skirt for balanced, far too preoccupied with the beautiful world around her to heed her sister's belittlement. Bright blue eyes darted about, spying green grass, a bright red slide, soft mulch under the monkey bars and.... What's that? The small hand released the skirt and skuttled in the direction of the steps. Surely it was some sort of toy, magical and unique as was any. But no... She stopped, but three feet away, staring down at the tiny treasure that was the other deity. Slowly, she dropped to her hands and knees and crawled closer. She cocked her head slightly, the loose cyan locks dribbling over her shoulder, and smiled a cool, yet warm greeting as her elder sibling continued down the walkway... clueless.
