So I went to go pick up my other wood clarinet and the clerk recommended putting orange peels inside the case to keep it fresh and mildew free (or something along the lines of that).
I think It works but then again....>.> He was a trumpet player. jkjk.
Anyways about two weeks later some of the peels molded!
Should I keep the peels theory or discard?

You should take them out. I would do reg. cleanings.
I would talk to your band director, because that guy could have a plastic clarinet.
